Presents for the boyfriend!

I've given my boyfriend little gifts before such as stuffed animals and things i have made [a bear, cards, bracelets, etc] I really want to buy him something good for our first christmas together.
But sadly, I have a very low budget and I need some ideas to get him. Then there's our one year together, valentines day, & his birthday all into one month in that order. So What should I give him gift wise [nothing sexual haha]? I want to give him something amazing for our one year but I really don't know.. I was thinking of a scrapbook and something else..Valentines day I don't really know what guys want. His birthday.. would a giftcard be good ? [To either hot topic or a game store] what would be better in your opinion? I want it...

Interesting Articles

Ok I have to find interesting articles that are new and has to do with technology but No news about the newst lap top or Apple or ipods.
I wrote this question because I can find 3 but we need to fill out a report about one EVERY week and i'm having trouble finding more articles that actually appeal to me.
Like for example, there's a new alarm clock that's like a soccer ball and doesnt turn off unless you actually kick it (then you'll be really awake).
Thank you so much! And the article has to have a date because i wanted to write about the Aiko project for one of my reports but no articles had a date on them (In the report you have to write the date of the article)

basketball freshmen signs up

okay soo i have basketball sign ups thursday, november 15th but in order to play you need an updated physical and i dont get one until nov. 26 and i dont know if they will let me play still.

Getting a dog

All right. Here's what the problem is: I really really really really want a dog. I've always (since I was born. Literally.) loved dogs with all my heart. But we've always rented houses which didn't allow dogs. Now we finally bought a house and my mom still refuses to get a dog. She nor anyone understand how much I really need a dog. You may be sitting here reading this thinking, Oh poor little spoiled girl. Her mom won't get her a dog boohoo. But the problem with that is, I'm not spoiled. I never ask for anything and when I do, I don't get it.
Just please, do you guys have any ideas on how to get my mom to let me get a dog? I've already tried basically everything, hence why I came to advicenators. I'm willing to try anything...

Losing a friend:(

My friend moved this year to a big new school far away. Now we feel like we are losing her. She's changed. She tells me how shes been getting drunk and stuff. She always brags about her friends. She's listnening to bad music. We were on her top friends list on myspace for the first day now we are at the bottom. Now, when we talk it's like two sentences and we stop talking. Shes 14. What can we do to get our relationship going again?btw 13/f

I'm in my 20s. She said she was 20 and is actually 18 and a senior in high school.
Those are the very basic facts.
Now, I'm the kind of person who lying is a big deal to me. Trust overall is a big deal. And people who violate that... lets just say that I may not bring it up, but I will remember this.
I like her. I like spending time with her. But I dont know if I should heed the giant warning sign that is finding out she's still a high school chick (and lying about it) and walk now.
Shes not the only woman I'm seeing at the moment. And no, she doesnt know that.
Risk getting deeper or run away now? What do you think?

retainer problem

my retainer (for my teeth) on the bottom, has jabbing into my lower pallet (gums on the bottom that cover the back ok my teeth. well a part of my gums has this huge bump now, and it hurts soooo bad, i can't even wear my retainer, because if I do it wll only press against the bump more, and make it bigger. PLEASE help me and tell me what this could be, I know i need a new retainer badly, because this one's too small. but i want to know what this weird painful, large bump on my gums is. THANKS!
also- it is located in the back of my bottom front teeth. sorry if it dosn't make much sence, the sore was created from the retainer (plastic part) stabbing into my gum. Please Help!!

Romantic gift giving.

My friend is giving his girlfriend a Tiffany's ring and possibly chocolate roses for Christmas. Anyone have any romantic ways to give them to her, not just wrapping it in a box? The box inside another box idea isn't that creative, he wants to do something special.

i bought this dress over the summer and i've lost all of this weight to fit into my size 2 dress. it's the cutest dress ever. it's champagne color and baby pink with a big bow in the front. Of course, my mother doesn't like the dress, because her and I can never agree on something to wear. I'm 16 years old and I don't think I need her approval to wear this dress. it's the most descent dress in the world... it's not like slutty or anything. But, it was more than a dress for me. It's the first time that I'm going to come out of my shell since August. I've been very sad because a lot of people have done things to me, and i haven't been myself. Public tears during speech!

Long story short, where I live you have to give this important speech at the beginning of your senior year.
I "gave" mine 2 days ago. I put the gave in quotations marks since I didnt follow it through. I started it, but messed up somewhere in the middle, started crying, and left the classroom, and then skipped the rest of the classes that day.
My teacher told me I'll get a new chance to do it this week. I will die. Same speech, same audience. They've all probably been talking about me and how humiliating that was.
The moral of the speech was that the more you believe in your dreams the more like reality they become.

Okay, first off, this guy who i dont like, gave me this other guy that i knows phone number when i asked for HIS! Second, he blocked me on aim when i didnt do anything to him, again, i dont like him, but i am trying to be friends......

Not to lable anyone but this dude i like has the qualities of an 'emo'. I called him an emo last time and everyone yelled at me. Any who, were going on this fieldtrip thing, and its the same day as our freshman dance. So, only me and him are going and i wont know what to say to him!

My little neice "Sally" well call her, is turning eigh next staurday. Great! But me and my bff are in charge in planning the activities (its a sleepover) But Sallys being really bossy about everything and she "wants an enterance" and shes entering and dancing to that song 'fabulous' from HSM2. Shes acting like one of those girls on "My Super Sweet Sixteen". She really thinks shes hot stuff. "I want this and that NOW!" Its so crazy and selfish its actually funny. Me and my bff are doing this out of the kindness of our hearts. Any ideas on how to please Sally?

Nerves

Hi I would be greatful if anyone can help with any ideas on how to deal with nerves and shyness. I currently have alot of things in my life where i need to keep control of my nerves.
I am soon taking my driving test, A levels and a new job as a waitress but I am finding my nerves are getting in the way, I start shaking, going bright red and I carnt speak properly. A few times I have failed a few exams because my nerves got the better of me.
I would be greatful for any help. Thank you.
