music business

i want to do music business when i go to college. [im a junior in high school now.] i would love ot go to the university of miami but to be honest, i know nothing about the actual field of music business..if i studied it, what am i going to be learning/getting myself into?

Music Business, You'll learn about Contract, how artist , musicains, record companies get paid and do business, you'll learn about royalties, etc. etc. I took a music business class in college... It's really interesting, you'll enjoy it a lot.
