My best friend went out with this boy (ryan) for about 7 months and she broke up with him because they kept having arguements. She's been out with two guys since. And she is still going out with one of them. Who she claims she's in love with. Two weeks ago ryan and i started talking, just talking nothing special, then we talked more and we were getting to know eachother better. We met up and i decided i really like him...but then the other day my friend turned round to me and said she still liked him and was jealous...but she has this other boy...i don't want to go out with him because it would be mean...but at the same time i really do!!
advice anyone?

volunteering in hospital

im 19 years old female...
over winter break when im home from college, i want to volunteer at the hospital. i was thinking about just bringing people good things for the holidays and making them happy. maybe the elderly patients and children. my question is..how do i go about doing this? do i just call and ask about volunteering? or is there something that this is called?
any info would be great!

I recently got Diagnosed (sp?) with an std that I wont ever be able to get rid of. I was wondering if you guys new of any sites online where people can talk about these things.
Sense I found out I have felt completely hopeless and I just feel like giving up but I cant do that to my parents.
So it would be really helpfull if you guys could give me a couple sites..

Cold sore treatment (lip)

I woke up with a cold sore (bottom lip) this morning...I hardly ever get them, maybe once a year max., usually in the winter. Does anyone know of any gel or cream that treats cold sores fast? I know that Blistex helps alleviate the pain, but what works best to actually treat the cold sore?

Ok well, our house is FIVE houses down our school, safe area, and before I was born, my parents have been living there for liek probably 5 or 10 years longer!
And then one day my mom and us went to my grandma's house and when we went home, the second door was open (there's two doors in te front, a white one, and a see through one in front of it) and the lights are on.
We weren't even sure of what to do because this never happened to us or the neighborhood and frankly the visits from the police at our school to talk about us about these things didn't stick into our heads.
So..we decided to go inside.
We opened the door and there was this HUGE stick on the side of the house so we BOL...

I'm 23 and my boyfriend is 26. We've been together for 3 years.
He's always getting text messages from girls. Girls that I've never heard of, that don't live in our town, let alone our state. He watches porn when I go to bed (which I don't really care about, he is male.) He's just really secretive about things. Like when he's on his computer, he won't do anything when I'm around.. but as soon as I go to another room he's typing away. And I'll come back in and he'll close everything he's doing. I always ask him if he loves me and means it, and he always says yes. I just sometimes feel like he isn't being honest or faithful to me. I worry a lot. I feel like maybe this relationship has been a waste of time.

This is the low down, I have a boyfriend we have been going out for approx. 2 months it's been quite rocky as we both approach relationships differently but recently he seems to be really getting on my nerves to the point where I can't even controll my anger. He recently got a car which he said he needed badly to get to work and back and I was all for it I was supportive throughout the process. But now it's become more then Just a car for going to work and back now every week-end or randomly during the week he goes out with his brothers and friends and comes back late at night and during that period he won't even text me to say his safe and missing me. bad eating habits

i've been dating this guy for a year. one thing that always gets to me is the way he eats, and i don't mean noisy chewing.
often he'll do things like skipping dinner only to snack on chips and stuff late at night, barely eat any fruits & veggies, buy a hamburger and fries at the school cafeteria whenever he eats there, etc. the other night, for example, he skipped dinner, then made chicken wings and leftover pork at 10:30.
i guess a lot of this stuff is normal teenage habits. i myself don't always eat well, and i know it's tempting to eat junk when you have access to it. but watching him upsets me because he'll get stomach pains and things like that, but won't change his ways. then i'll be like 'you know you shouldn't do ...

my stress is overcoming me

my grandmother is dying of cancer which is stressing me and my family along with the absurd family disfuntions that are sort of at a pause since my grandmother was diagnosed. anyway i also am having some problems with some friends and issues with people who i don't consider friends but still see everyday in school. i'm afraid i might burst out in anger soon and i want to prevent that. i'm someone who rarely gets angry, i mean most the people that no me have never seen me get mad but when i do, from experience, i know it can result in horrible consequences...what should i do to ease my mind and prevent anything like that from happening?

Okay, so I'm 15/f
I have a feeling that this guy I like is going to ask me out, mainly because everyone's been saying he likes me and he keeps on asking to be alone with him for a few minutes sometime this upcoming week. I know, I shouldn't get my hopes up because I can get disappointed majorly. But to be prepared:
What are some good ways to say "yes" to him if he asks me out nonchalantly. Not excited/naive sounding but at the same time not "I'm not interested but I'll go out with you out of pity" sounding. Help!
