I woke up with a cold sore (bottom lip) this morning...I hardly ever get them, maybe once a year max., usually in the winter. Does anyone know of any gel or cream that treats cold sores fast? I know that Blistex helps alleviate the pain, but what works best to actually treat the cold sore?

But you can go to any CVS, etc and pick up medicine for it. Look for it. It will say that it treats cold sores. Keep your lips moist with either the medicine or chapstick. DO NOT lick your lips, take the cold sore off, or put lip gloss on. It will only make things worse. It should go away in about a week or less. Good luck. Lol. I'm still waiting for mine. I hope i dont get it this year. :) [ xxlilreddivaxx's advice column | Ask xxlilreddivaxx A Question ]
