I woke up with a cold sore (bottom lip) this morning...I hardly ever get them, maybe once a year max., usually in the winter. Does anyone know of any gel or cream that treats cold sores fast? I know that Blistex helps alleviate the pain, but what works best to actually treat the cold sore? (link)

The best treatment is Valtrex Oral and Zovirax Ointment (oral treatment is much more effective). But, if you can't get to your doctor to get those prescriptions just try to keep the cold sore clean and dry. I find that rubbing alcohol works wonders. Check out this website as well...

There are some birth controls that help with that. Talk to your doctor about it!

I am a Christian but my entire group of friends is not. I want to tell them about Jesus or my faith, but I constantly find myself afraid of their disapproval, but I need to because it won't be long before I become tempted to go against my beliefs. How do I make my stand? (link)

If they are really your friends they will understand and accept your religion as long as you're not trying to "convert" them (then people tend to get offended.) And sometimes, some things are just better left unsaid. BTW, don't worry about going against your beliefs because if you truly believe (not just because that's what your parents force you to believe) then you will not go againt your beliefs.

I'm 15 and been told that I should start a career in either writing, journalism, or public speaking. I do very well at all of these but have no luck finding opportunities to start exploring these careers. What are some places online that might help or offer me some kind of experience? (link)

If you like writing and public speaking (and you're interested in making a lot of money) you should consider law. If I were you, I wouldn't major in journalism or writing unless I was planning on living in NYC.
