Does anyone know where I can get a "free" Windows perl installer version 5.6 or 5.8 besides at www.activestate.com I don't need that package just the installer. I plan on running it through the command window so I don't need a GUI.
I've Googled but it's impossible to try every link.

still scared of the dark

ok so im 14/f and still TERRIFIED of the dark. every night when i go to sleep i imagine murderers breaking in and killing me. I don't watch scary movies anymore, just a few here and there. the old ones still come back to haunt me, i'll remember any scary thought when it's nighttime. the fact that my house is PITCH BLACK at night doesn't help at all either. i really really desperately need help, i'm scared to go to bed at night. i can't even get up to go pee because im scared the killer with "hear me". i want to use a nightlight, but i don't want my parents to think i'm a wuss, i mean i'm 14!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me find a way to be comfortable in my own house at night.

i need help finding a page. its on aol..its aol teen lounge ( it has message boards and chat rooms on it for teens) its called red teen lounge or something. the chat rooms are named copper gold silver ect. theres a page you go to get to them but the thing you click on isnt there it might be my computer =[

i need help finding a cute skirt that goes above the knee but not soo much that i'll be lookin like a mini skirt, just something a little longer thatn that cuz i really love skirit and im moving to a new skool and youve got to have your skirits to your fingertips so i need to find some cute skirts above the knee like 6" or so, can anyone help?

I was at a party last night....
There was this kid there that I didnt actually talk to but I was talking to his friend. The reason I didnt talk to him because I guess I was shy or whatever, I dont know but man I dont know If I should add him on myspace or not. Because the thing is, I havent ever spoken to him before... and maybe he'll think like "who is this girl?" but then again... what's the wrong thing that could happen, right? I keep trying to tell myself that but I can't seem to get the courage to do so. He goes to my school and he's older and stuff, and I definately don't talk to him there because one, I barely see him and two, Im shy :/

im turnin 18 soon adn i was thinkin about getttin a butterfly tatoo on my lower back, its only gonna be about 4" wide and about 6" or 7" long adn i was anting color in it too bu thow much wuld a tatoo similar to this cost?

You kno how there's ann apllication on Facebook called 'Are You Interested?' and if you click 'Yes' on someone, you can choose whether you want it to be anonymous or not? Well, I was wondering if there was any possible way to see who clicked 'Yes' anonymously... I know it's anonymous for the purpose of the other person not knowing lol but I was wondering if there was any way to find out? I'm just curious to know. Thanks!

Hello. I am 21 and male.
I met someone online, and we have been pretty good friends for a while now. We do not want to date or anything, because both of us are married... just friends. I just want to get that out there...
Recently, I have made a series of stupid mistakes and hurt her feelings pretty badly. I suffer from Bipolar Disorder, and am currently seeking help for it. I want her to forgive me for the things I have done, but I'm not sure how. I told her about the disorder before the fight.
I have tried apologizing to her, but I'm not sure if she forgives me or not. She will not talk to me, and only minimal responses are given when I initiate conversations with her.

I've been in girlscouts for about 10 years. I've been with the same girls in my troop for that long. We are down to about 10 of us. We are all working toward our Gold Award, which is the last award. Then, we complete girlscouts.
This summer, we are going on a cruise. I want to do something really special for all of them. Maybe buy them each a little something, or make a toast at one of the dinners on the cruise.
Its just .. these girls and i have been through soo much and I just want to show them that I appreciate all the itme we've spent together.
Ideas for something special wanted!

delivering cupcakes

On the first day back to school I'm going to make cupcakes and give them to my friends but how will i bring them to school so that it will: not be visible( which means stay in my pack pack so no other rude kid steals or damages them), not ruin their shape or form, etc?

I'm not techniquely sure what life support is or how it works but my friend told me that her mom is on it and it's not a very good way to start the new year.
I'm making a layout for her and dedicating it to everyone who's going through the same thing.

Sims 2 Nightlife

So I just got the Sims 2 Nightlife and I saw on sims2.com that you can have all these new hair styles and clothes when you got the Nightlife expansion pack... Well I loaded it on my computer and I only have like two new hair styles for male and female.. and I have hardly any new clothes. What's the deal?

okay this might sound weird or you might not understand. but i'm quite thin the problem is i'm wide not because of my body but i have 2 big humps on each side of my waist full of fat atleast i think so . i want to loose them but i can't stay on a diet and i don't want to take pills at young age what can i do?

Right, so the other week i was out with some friends and they introduced me to some guys.
Then, i started hanging round with two of them guys (C and J) who both have gfs.
I took a liking to J and today we were talking for a little bit but we were with other people so we werent alone.
Weve been speaking on msn and myspace quite abit.
And i really like him. But, he has a gf who he's madly in love with.
And i dont WANT to like him, i just do.. And i dont want to tell him i do because it'll be really awkward seeing as we havent known each that long.
I know if i get closer to him then i'll like him even more. But, i want to get closer to him, if that makes sense.
I just really dont know ...

The guy from house. I forgot his name, but he's like HOUSE. The main guy, HUGH LAURY!!!! The one with the limp. He has a british accent in real life? That's what everyone has tld me. Like, how do you mask like an accent. Oh, and is it true that he really has a british accent?

im getting braces tmrw and im really nervous about it... i hate the orthodontist soooo much and people in my mouth... i'm so nervous im gonna like feel sick while hes putting the braces on, ialways gag when im there and really nervous about it.. how long will putting everything on take? will it hurt a lot? answer everything and give details please if you can!

sims 2 error

I have nightlife so I had my sim, Lilith (the redhead "goth" twin from Pleasantview) go out with that guy.. I forget his name but he's the black sim with glasses' son. anyways so on their date, downtown at FM, I decide to use boolProp so I can control Lilith's date as well to make their date like.. good. ok first of all it seems he knows lilith a LOT more than she knows him. like for him he sees her as like a lot higher relationship level and for lilith to him, he is 0 shorttime, and 0 long time. weird. even weirder was when lilith wanted to entertain her date, and they were already dining so i made her do a toast to him.. it was weird.. all of a sudden this error kept popping up. are teens not able to toast each other since its c...

whenever i put my head down or shift even a little, i could see another layer of skin, the double chin. Is there anyway to the double chin? I don't even know how I got that in the first place.
