My friend has fallen really hard for this guy who acts like a total jerk to her. (They are both 19 years old) No matter how mean he is, she just won’t stop and I don’t know how to convince her that this just isn’t good for her. She’s had an enormous crush on him for years and nothing seems to be able to break her blindness. Every time he treats her badly, she plummets into overwhelming sadness, but she still won’t give up on him. It’s gotten even worse this past year and it’s gotten to the point that I am starting to become worried about her mental/emotional wellbeing. How can I help her to get over him?

2 friends (females and I'm also a female we are all 11) tease me, but not involving weight, looks, religion, stuff like that, it's more like saying no to something, then doing it anyway, and sometimes they'll just separate themselves unless I come to them and then there was this:
Friend: I once met Bethany Mota, I hugged her.
Me: wasn't she freaked out?
Friend: no, she's used to it, everyone hugs her, and she's not cracky and rude like you!
I don't think of myself as cracky and rude, if I'm anything in that category it's stubborn and short tempered. And those friends aren't perfect, one is insecure and and immature, the other hates almost everything, and sees Miley Cyrus as a role model, which speaks for itself. I tease them too.

He went to take a picture of a total stranger...who objected. I advised. perhaps he needed to see if they objected first then proceed. He took the picture and responded to her ."I guess this will be between us...instead of apologizing. When I tried to suggest what might have happened or how to prevent this in the future...he ended up calling me a f...ing b.....not once but several times...He then believed the tires on the vehicle were going to be slashed so he ran to the vehicle. This dove tails into my repeated requests...not to be hit with a drumstick or be called a whore which he laughs He has had no job in years...contributes what he wants... Low Calorie Diet

I'm going on a diet and I only want to eat around 500 calories a day (with one cheat day every two weeks of course ;)). I was wondering if this is safe/ healthy as long as I get all if my vitamins and nutrients. I've been eating avocado, almonds, milk, oranges, apples, bananas, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, oatmeal, spinach, tomatoes, grapes, watermelon, and of course water. I'm planning on expanding the list if I do this long term. I eat 3-4 small meals per day about 150 calories each. I exercise a little bit as well. So is this safe? I've heard that if I do this my body will start eating my muscle so I've put the diet on hold until I know for sure. If this isn't safe, I'd like some suggestions to improve my diet. Thanks! (Oh and by the way, I'm a woman if that matters.

How can I keep myself quiet?

Recently, I have come to the conclusion that being quiet is the best thing that I can do to ease my social probems. Socially, I am tolerated at my small highschool, and at home, I have to deal the luxury of having a non understanding mother to deal with not to mention my pest of a brother (age 9). My freshman year I tried everything to try to be liked and accepted by my peers. Mainly because I felt if I was being tolerated at school maybe its due to a problem that I have. By everything I mean everything ex: Carrying peoples bookbags, as well as mine to each class going out of my way to be kind despite their nasty demeaning attitudes. That failed. Im the kind of girl that has more guy friends then girl friends because i feel that make less drama and overall are more fun to hang out with. You dont get judged and you rarely have to worry about them talking crap behind your back. The downside is that out of all the guy friends i have they try there very hardest to make me jealous. Its not in my nature to be jealous hearted. Whenever someone (whether its my friends or anyone) has accomplished something or is doing great in life i will be the first one to be happy for them. But i have noticed that some of them of them try to change that. I overheard that they "swap ideas" like dating other girls just so i can be jealous and eventually be with them or begin to like them. It hurts...

So my mom has a boyfriend that she's had for 13 years now. He has a son that i do not think of as a brother.i have had a crush on him for many years now. His son in a few years older then me, but I'm also over 18. I would like to tell him that i have had a crush on him n think sexual thoughts about him at night. We don't see each other very often but I'm dying to know if he feels that kinda way about me. Im not sure about it because some signals he sends seems like he's flirting but I'm not positive. I dated a guy two years younger than me my senior year of high school. We dated for about 6 months and then he broke up with me. Then I started dating a boy a year older than me even though I wasn't 100% over the younger guy. I broke up with the older guy and now I'm back with the younger guy. Everything has been perfect and so much better than the first time we dated. I recently saw my ex (the older guy) and I have been thinking about him a lot. I feel like I cut it off too fast and I should have stayed with him longer. I also really miss the maturity he had and how he supported himself rather than parents supporting him. I'm not sure what I'm feeling and I don't know what to do about it.

Hey. I've been sort of depressed lately because I'm in high school and I'm about 6 or 7 months younger than a lot of my friends. I'm really jealous of them because I volunteer at two hospitals. I'm a greeter at one, and I do filing at the other. I volunteer Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays which totals 16 hours. A lot of my friends turned 15 halfway through this past school year (I'm a rising sophomore) and I'm just turning 15 on August 3rd. One of my friends in particular really really bugs me, because sometimes we hang out and she tells me how all of her coworkers and higher ups at work just love her, and literally tell her that she's a ray of sunshine. Ok..I dated this guy for a couple of months but he was 6 yrs older than me..I'm 16..we were first just friends but then we began to "love" each other. I would go by him everyday but we never did anything really..then we almost did and I stopped him...he got a bit mad at me. He said he didnt want to date me now at 16 because he didn't want me to do things that were not right..we didnt talk for awhile...then he called but we are sort of awkward friends now...I still like him though and i told him but he said he dont want to destroy my life. I really like acting and have been doing it for a while. I want to get into the industry but it is hard to find legit auditions that don't have over a thousand kids auditioning without an agent and to get an agent you need to first mail in headshot/resume and then they might call to set up an interview. The problem is that agencies receive so many applications they randomly throw away about 92 % of them and then look at that 8 %.so i am wasting paper and chances are if i send a hundred of them , Only 8 will be looked at by an agent and I might not be that face they are looking for. So it is a cycle. How do I start in this industry.( please don't say buy a handbook or just perform in theater and ill get around cause it is not working)

Not Sure Anymore

I am so confused. I dont know what to do anymore. I am depressed all the time. To the point where all I want to do is cry and at times it takes all I have not to. I feel so alone. I have been married for 8 years but we never talk and lately he and I have been sleeping in separate rooms. We dont even argue we just dont talk. I know I am not happy anymore and I havent been for a long time. But we have children together and this is the only serious relationship I have ever had. To top it all he is controlling so I have never had a job and I dont know if I can support myself or my kids without him. I dont want to be miserable forever but I am terrified of life without him. I dont know how to survive without him. And I have absolutly no friends ...

What to do about family isses?

Today I was doing my younger brother's hair when somehow we ended up talking. I told him that mom and I do hair differently its not a matter of one being better than the other. Then I quickly said "nevermind because I know your going to tell mom everything I say good or bad." Moments later my mom threatens me saying the next time I "intimidate" my brother things are going to end badly for me. I need help understanding what I did wrong and if simply not talking to my brother and mom is a good solution for this situation. What should I do? I figure going under the radar is a good way to handle this situation because I dont feel like getting in to it with my mom or brother. Personally, I can't stand living under the same roof with either party.
