does anyone know how metalolism works? like how much do calories do you burn a day? and how much running does it takes for you to lose some weight. how will 2 or 3 miles everyother day effect my weight after a month. what about every other day. i plan to run all summer and lift weights too.

ok this is the thing. i've read about the veet thing. if it doesnt work for anyone, well it might not work for me.

this is the real question.

if you shave your leg, does it get thicker?

i kno this sound so stupid cuz i wasn't allow to shave my dang legs. and just in case i have to do it behind my mom's back...

well i heard it does and gets thicker and stuff...

is it true?

and if you shave, how long does it last?

my friend says her legs only last for like 8 hours

ohkay, im a really *challenged person when it comes to my weight. No matter how hard i try to lose weight, i always tend to gain more & more. how do become skinny? how do i control my blubber?

ok well i need the truth on what you think, im 12 turning 13 years old and im really athletic so i do have muscles, im 5'4-5'5 and i weigh like 114-116 pound i mean i people dont call me fat, the boys do but the girls dont do u think im over weight? and if i am could you tell how to get skinner

i have underarm flab and some fat on my back...i mean im a pretty fit girl like my legs are skinny and my stomach is fine but my back and underarms are having a lil trouble...so what is a good excersise to get this crap off my back and underarms... HELP SUMMER IS COMING!!!!!! ill rate u high!!!

okay.. well im 14/f and imk 5'3 and 86 lbs. and i really need to gain some weight because i am not comfortable wirh how skinny i am. like every day someone says omg your so skinny! or something like that and its so annoying and i hate it.. and im definitely not anorexic or belemic.. i could never do that. but the thing is that i eat a lot every day and i dont gain a pound! does anyone know what i can eat or do to gain a few pounds? thanks! ♥

I'm a 16 year old female..I am 5'2 weighing 105 pounds. People say I'm thin...what they don't know is I have 3 layers of fat on my tummy..I often find myself "sucking in" all day. What can I do? Everyone always says crunches..but they're not helping. Please give some detailed advice and tell me what to do..tell me how to do it. Thanks so much-I need to get abs in 2 weeks! Yikes!

How do i lose weight fast?

Ok. I'm overweight and i want to lose about 30 to 40 lbs over the summer. I've tried adkins but it isnt workin. I was wondering if there are any diets i can do to help out while exercising (because just that isnt workin either). If you have any ideas i would appriciate them. Thanks.

okay ive been so self concious about my wieght and all.. im not fat but i have a little gut that i wanna get rid of and i just wanna flattnen my stomach so like whne i just stand up its just like flat but i hate going on diets and i dont really care abouta loosing wieght i just wanna flatten my stomach anbd thin out my legs so they're not all flabby and just tone my body.. but some people told me that i can just eat as much of whatever i want but then at night just do alotta crunches and kicks and excersise and even though i wont loose weight and all.. i'll still be toning my body.. is this true?

i would really like to be more healthy. you know, toned muscles, eat healthy foods, etc. the thing is, i know exactly how to do it, what foods to eat, what to avoid, great exercises, etc. the only problem is i can NEVER be motivated enough to stick to a healthy lifestyle. reading through all this health advice really gets me excited about being healthier and such, but then when i actually go try it, i am never motivated enough to follow through! any tips?

This question is for someone who knows a lot about nutrition and working out.

Okay, I just started to work out for about an hour and fifteen minutes a day at the gym (cardio). I get hungry afterwards. I'm trying to lose weight (I'm a female, if that helps at all, and I'm not trying to build more muscle), so what foods would be okay to eat after a workout? Thanks in advance!
