okay.. well im 14/f and imk 5'3 and 86 lbs. and i really need to gain some weight because i am not comfortable wirh how skinny i am. like every day someone says omg your so skinny! or something like that and its so annoying and i hate it.. and im definitely not anorexic or belemic.. i could never do that. but the thing is that i eat a lot every day and i dont gain a pound! does anyone know what i can eat or do to gain a few pounds? thanks! ♥
FootballDancer69 answered Saturday June 11 2005, 12:33 pm: Try weight lifting...it will build up yer muscles...& you will gain weight...b/c muscle weighs more than fat...& you will look a lot bigger....but it will take time....DONT just expect this 2 happen over nite.....Take this summer....& get a membership 2 a gym

It was almost impossible for me to gain weight back in Singapore, but when I came to North America I gained about 20 pounds in a year; not even kidding you. Just goes to show how fattening North American food is I guess, anyhoo, what I noticed in my eating patterns is that I would eat supper every night, whether it may be a bowl of campbell soup, or toast, but I always ate it and before I knew it I gained 20 lbs. Xo_Ashie_oX answered Thursday June 9 2005, 7:38 pm: im the same exact way!! im 15 but i weigh(ed) like 90 sumthin and i so kno how it feels when people come up to you and are like oh my gosh youre anorexic and all that shit!! it pisses me off so much!! but ive started eatin a lot of protien, like eggs, PB, chicken, turkey, steak, hamburger, etc.... abd then also a lot of junky foods... im at 103 or somethin now... and its been about a month or so since i started eatin like that... also eat more than 3 meals a day... like i eat 4... but u should eat 5...but make em full meals not like snacks--i mean--this whole proccess of gainin the weight, it takes a while... but it works... just make sure you stick to that diet, dont go on and off it bc it wont do anythin.... hope i helped [ Xo_Ashie_oX's advice column | Ask Xo_Ashie_oX A Question ]

A casual amount is about 3 (including fries for each). thats how you gain weight. Or you could like work out a lot and gain tone and muscles. That would be the best way. Hope i helped. pretty1 answered Thursday June 9 2005, 7:06 pm: omg i am in that same position...like i weigh 135 and im 5'7. i have some layers on my tummy and i suck in constantly...whenever i say im fat they hit me and tell me im not. the only thing that i can think of is that sure, crunches tone your mucles, but the only way to get that fat off your stomach is to eat less fattening food or eat less and get your body sweating because im in softball and i sweat alot since its like 90 degrees out there. so all u need to do is eat less, work out, and wait for the results...im in this process and its going pretty good. tell me how it goes...luv ya bye!
