Reduce your caloric intake-- mine is 1500 (it varies from person to person, consult your doctor/websites to see what's best for you... i'm pretty sure 1500 is pretty standard however). Now, that doesn't mean eat anything you want and stop when you get to 1500. Make healthy choices-- salads, veggies, fruits, all those things you really don't want to stuff yourself with.
Excersise!! 3 times a week for 30 minutes is what doctors say will put you on a path to weight loss. However, I'm working out 5 days a week for an hour. Every other day weight training. It depends how much weight you want to lose, how much muscle you want to gain, and in what kind of time.
I'd say if you followed all those things strictly-- you could lose a good 15-20 lbs in 3 months! And the healthy way! Which is even better because it will STAY OFF.

Many people think it's like a pussy thing to do, but let me tell you, I've lost so much and kept it off since I was in middle school. And you know what, if you do it regularly with your friends you not only have a FUN ASS TIME, but hell, you and your friends will be looking HOT!
Personally, I do it 5 days a week for 1-2 hours. Being consistant is the key and obviously, as a newbie, you want to start of slowly and then build up your endurance.
It's truly amazing, and I swear my body to it. You get an amazing workout for maybe just 30 minutes and you def lose calories and tone up your body!! :)
GOODLUCK LOVELY!

To do these, stand up stRaight, and slowly move youR leg -ONLY YOUR LEG- backwaRds. Like, say you'Re going to kick something, but kick BARKWARDS, and DON'T BEND YOUR KNEES!! It's designed to tone youR thighs and ass! Also, pRoviding you cut out white bRead and soda... [if you'Re used to consuming A LOT of it] you can see a diffeRence the fiRst two weeks. My fRiend did it.. and we weRe both shocked to all hell! But of couRse weight loss takes time.... you just have to stay committed, and have the dRive to keep it up. TRy to keep youRself busy... and sleep as often as possible... these things keep youR mind busy and off food. I can't Really say how long it will take; I suppose that diffeRs fRom peRson to peRson. It Really just depends on how much weight you'Re looking to shed. I'd say you could lose 10 to 20 pounds in a month; that's veRy possible. Goodluck to you!! I wish you the best!! Hopefully I've been of some sort of help heRe!! =D [ Mackenzie's advice column | Ask Mackenzie A Question ]
