Fantasy novels.

Hey people.
I'm in my final year of high school, going to university (hopefully) next year to study english. I want to be a writer and i know i have to read a lot of different kinds of books before i can make one myself. I'm into fantasy (as in supernatural things) and classic literature but I never know what books are good or not.
I get most of the classic books from penguin classics and I've liked all of them. I want books that are challenging without it being impossible. I also love fantasy literature but a lot of fantasy books look...cliche or amateurish. Kate Forsyth's 'Witches of Eilanan' and 'Rhiannons ride' were the kind of books i loved reading when i was about 14, and now they're a little too simple f...

ok ive been going out with my girlfriend for exactly a week now and we hold hands but mine get sweaty alot and she said that i do haha so i'm like.. worried that she wont want to hold hands with me as much because of that so does anyone know of things that i could put on my hands to stop it sweating too much
btw we usually hold hands when were walking around school and we also do it when i sometimes walk home with her

I've written a novel series that I'm attempting to get published. And well, I included a character like a person who I had a falling out with a while back, and well, I'm kinda taking this chance to tell this friend that I will still be their friend, regardless.

Does anyone know of any good online dating sites that are literally 100 percent free, like you can send messages and read messages for free and you don't have to use a credit card? I mean seriously, free! A free dating site where you don't even have to spend one penny. What are the online dating sites that have a good reputation and have a lot of users on it, and they are totally free, period?
My mom wants to find someone and I KNOW she would go for online dating websites if she didn't have to dish out a lot of money just to begin to "talk" to someone. I want my mom to be happy and find her a good partner so I thought online dating might be a good idea for my single mom.

What to expect at college

I will be going college this fall and I'm really nervous about it. Obviously I am going to be a college freshman. I've heard so many things about college though that makes me really uneasy. I want to go into college prepared, of course.
So, what can I expect at college? I guess it must be a lot different than high school but in what ways? Do I need to do or bring anything special to college?

Difference between regular corn syrup and high fructose corn syrup

I have heard that the high fructose corn syrup is extremely unhealthy for us to eat. I was wondering if regular corn syrup is not as bad, or is just plain corn syrup actually the same thing?

Are Kirby vacuum cleaners worth the price? What do you think about Kirby?

I had never heard of Kirby vacuum cleaners until the other night when a couple of Kirby salesmen came to my door asking if I wanted to have my carpets cleaned for free.
I won't go into the details about Kirby's sales techniques, which I do find unappealing, but I'm curious if anybody out there has bought a Kirby vacuum and if you think it's worth the price.
I can tell you that they were asking more than $1,800 for the newest model (the Sentria). The lowest they would go was $1180. I never knew vacuums could cost so much so I figured that these Kirby vacuum cleaners must be something you would use practically forever! And I ended up passing on the offer -- even though the vacuum was quite impressive itself.

How to avoid itchy sunburn

I love to be outdoors. I lay out, jog, swim, etc... I also love my tan. Last week I got another itchy sunburn, but the sunburn was not even that bad really (hardly even noticed it). The itching was almost unbearable at some points a day or two after getting the mild sunburn though. So, I slathered the sunburn in aloe vera gel and took antihistamines and it worked to calm the itching down, I also had to avoid the chlorinated pool and getting my back too sweaty from working out (dries up my skin causing it to itch much more).
Are there any tips I can get to avoid making my sunburn itch, other then the obvious wear sunblock? Because I do but sometimes mild sunburns just happen and the itching always comes with it.

i am an 18 year old girl who has always had issues with confidence and self esteem. ever since i was a little kid all i did was draw. i guess the only thing ive always consistently done and been good at it is art. and now im going to school in new york for design. ive moved from los angeles to chicago, so this new city doesnt really scare me, but i feel like now that im anticipating these changes i should try and tackle the real issues about my personality.
im really easily manipulated by people in countless different ways. they always come over to my house because i let them even if i dont want to. they hustle me for money and drugs. (i do the same drugs). these people are my friends, and all of us do the same things to each...

he's in this backyard wrestling federation, and i'll admit, he is VERY good at what he does. we live in Indiana, and he's been to Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Tennessee, and Wisconsin to wrestle. in a week he's going to Pittsburgh to be in some other federation's show.

digital photos to print

okay as ridiculous as this may sound i have a digital camera as most people do, but i've never actually developed the pictures...i always just keep them on the computer
on iphoto i have an album of all the pictures i want printed like they would be from a film camera
if i put the pictures on a cd and then brought the cd to like a rite aid or target would i be able to get them developed?
or how exactly does it work?
anyone know price ranges?
