This is quite a long story. please bear with me.

There's this boy. he and i have been pretty close friends for more than 5 years. When we were younger, we had a little crush on eacother, but we were young, and nothing ever came out of it. A few years after that, when we were about 14, we started talking and i was convinced we were going to end up together. That year, i went on vacation, and when i came back, he had a girlfriend. (ive always hated this girl, just throwing that in there). I was upset with him for a while, but we weren't actually dating or anything, so i did the mature thing and didnt make a big deal out of it. We stayed friends since then.

Can I Cash this check that is to me and my college??

My mother paid for my college tuitionwith her credit card but was expecting a check from my grandfather to pay it off, he sent the check but it is to me and my school, is there any way i can cash this check? because i do not believe the school can come with me, and why would they, they are not getting this money.

hotel room age limit...?

How old do you have to be to get a hotel room in new york city? I am 18. I want to go on a road trip with my boyfriend of 1 year. He's 19. We have never been to NYC before, and we hope to stay in a budget hotel for about 3 nights. (We both have minimum wage jobs.)
We both have debit cards, but don't have credit cards. I've heard that most hotels don't take you unless you're 21 and have a credit card. But what about if you're 18/19 and have a credit card?

Write an equation for the line that is parallel to the given line and that passes through the given point. y=-5x+3 ; (-6,3)
Find a solution to the following system of equations. -5x+y=-5 and -4x+2y=2
Same with this one. y=3x+7 and y=x-9
Find the area of the unshaded region. (answer in simlified form) Big square is x+5 and little square inside the big one is x. x is the shaded square.

hi i have been friends with this guy for about 2-3 years and he has liked me and i knew it... but that was about a couple of years ago... and i thought he went off me i have never reall as in REALLY loved him... but he went out with one of my sorta ish friend but she is not really my friend and they never worked out like at all!!
now he says he likes me... and idk if i feel the same... but he makes me feel good about myself and has always been there for me.. and we are really friends...
should i give him a chance...
or should i wait....
or should i stay friends ?

buying healthy food

so i have a problem with eating out! i do it way too much and i know its burning out my pockets! so i have to stop. im going to go shopping this saturday before my college starts and i was wondering if i could get some help on what to buy. my schedule is wake up monday and wednesday, hit the gym, class at 930 till 1045. break. class again ay 1230 till 220. work at 330 til midnight. i have my lunch at 930. tuesday, thursday and friday i only have work at 330 til midnight. so i want to start eating healthy as well. if you could give me a list out of grocerys and maybe some healthy snacks i can have at work because ive been munching on candy bars, thatd be great! for nearly 2years i had been gettin depressed cause of people treating my like shit then i eventually got over it and just managed not to care anymore about anyone apart from my two horses as i just hate people who stab you in the back i am 16 so if i die my horses would have people to look after them no matter what so i can not find any real reason to keep going on like this the depression just keeps coming back i have people i talk to who call me a "friend" but i just find that only ones i care about are my 2 horses i have tryed a couple of times to wrap a cord round my neck but just couldn't bring myself to do it i just feel hate all around me cause people who call me their "freind" will also treat me like shit at the...

How do I get my brother and cousin to listen to someone..plz read?

I dont know what to do, my brother doesnt listen to me or my mom. He says that hes not doing anything, but my family knows he is. He brings drugs in and out of the house at night. MY nephew found a bag of weed in the kitchen one day, my brother also lets my cousin come into his room and count drug money. My brother hangs out with this big gang of bad people. Allergies towards sperm is possible. I need someone who actually knows this....If someone is allergic to sperm, do they have a better chance of having a miscarriage? if someone is allergic to sperm, does that mean their body will react badly to fertilization ? please help

How do you become Self-Motivated?

I'm not driven at all, in any area of my life.
Partly because I'm depressed, but I can't blame it all on that. I'm going to try to get help with that soon.
I just want to hear from some people who are self motivated and ask what it is that keeps you so focused and driven with your goals.

I have a friend to whome i am close to. He is one of my ultimate best friends and we talk on a regular basis. There has always been this "thing" between me and him and we both know its there. There is like a spark in the air but then again, we have NEVER kissed or anything . But we are so close mentally and emotionally.

I've never tried marijuana, i've obviously heard a lot about it from health class and that, but I'm very curious about it. pretty much everyone i know takes a hit once in a while, some more than others, but i'm never around when they do.
I guess i'm just wondering if it's really worth a try. I told myself I would never try it; that i want to be able to grow old and tell my grandkids that hey, it really is possible to be straightedge your whole life, and you CAN say no.
My sister says I would really like the feeling because I'm pretty chill to begin with.

a few months ago i became close with this guy chris, he was friends with a bunch of other people that i was friends with at the time. we got along really well and soon i felt like i could trust him enough to confide in him about my personal life. he really acted like we were best friends.

22/f, okay so I work in a school as a SPED instructional aide, and I like a co-worker of mine, a teacher who is a 27/m. He's is like the sweetest man ever... almost too sweet. So sweet that alot of women(not really much competition considering my self esteem isn't really high) are/were after him too. But I know he dosen't like them cause the teacher I work with told. The two of them are best friends.
Anyhow, he's like a big kid and that's what I like the most. Still plays video games,and a very caring teacher (teaches SPED) and cares alot about his brother who is also special needs. Plus he lent me his super expensive calculator for an entire year... We've hung out a few times but I can't really tell if we vibing or not caus...
