myth about muscle loss

so apparently some guy at the GNC told my boyfriend that you absolutely cannot lose muscle..that you can only have deflated muscle and lose mass to the muscle
i think that is bullshit but what do you think?

120 lbs 5'3
for the past 2 weeks ive been running for about 15 minutes on a tredmil and eating less. also cutting out candy, unnessicary snacks, and junk food. sometimes i just get super hungry and i feel like i over eat at times, like i just ate a slopy joe, glass of milk, apple sause, and craft cheese single. i know its not alot but i feel like i stuff myself when i get really hungry.


my daily meals are like, breakfast- cereal lunch- sandwitch, fruits and veggies, and some kind of crackers? dinner- usually a full meal. i grabbed a hand ful of wheat thins after school and then afer i run i usual have a half a sandwitch. is this good enough, what else can i do?

Well everyone's leg like when you stand right on front of them their leg is straight. But mine's cricked! it goes straight, thne at the knee part it' like shifted to the left a lil, and thne straight down! is that normal? is there an excercise that can help?

hi guys! well, it's really cold outside where i live and i don't have a pass to any kind of work out place or gymn or whatever but i would really like to get some good cardio fat burning excercises while still being stuck in the house! any ideas? thanks, guys!

Okay, so I'm 15 and I'm only 5'3 I'm like the 5th shortest kid in my grade. Some kids who are in lower grades than me are taller! I drink milk like 3 times a day and I sleep like crazy and yet I'm still short- how can I get tall?

13/f 5'5''.sorry for it so long.im not extreamly fat but still pretty fat.im not active at all.i love chocolate.i always sit on my ass all day i play video games tv and computer.but ive never noticed my weight until lately because of presidental test in gym.so ive been only eating breakfast lunch and dinner and kiwis and mountain dew.im not stoppin mountain dew i only drink 1 a day and water.ive been tryin to exercise mainly my arms and stomach.i try like only 5min but like 6 times a day so around 30 min.but i try different things but i cant do push ups at all or pull ups i cant do arms.im not playin as much video games and tv anymore.i love goin to the mall so theres walkin but also i get soda and greasy food.but we do eat out alot atleast...

i'm 13
i'm 5'2
i've been told i'm average weight, i've been told i'm slightly underweight, & i've been told i'm morbidly obese
and i've been told i'm just plain fat
i don't think my appearence is fat.. but..
is this a healthy weight?

ok,well i just want to loose like 3 pounds-but only in my stomache! how can i do this,any exsersizes (sp sorry) that i could do just for the stomache?! also,what are healthy foods to eat,and how much? also one more thing- will swimming help me loose weight? thanks!

13/f 5'4.im underweight and overweight in different places.overweight mainly.just because of my stomach.my arms are wayy small i cant even lift 15.but i can lift 100 with my legs there big.and my lower stomach is all fat its discusting.i hate my body.i cant turn my arm since i broke it and they said it was but they couldnt find where so they didnt do anything for it AND IT WAS BROKE so now i cant move it im guna start therapy soon.i can do sit ups and running and i canot do pull ups push ups.what exercises could i do for my fat stomach and hurt tiny weak arms.and does any have the weight chart or wat ever you call it the weights for hights and everything.and i need to know exercises~help mee~
