I want a hamster really bad

I really want a hamster but my parents won't let me get one. I am very responsible and I get honor roll grades I also don't have any pets. I asked her why she won't let me buy one and the supplies for one with MY OWN money and she said it was because I would lose interest in it and because what would happen if we went on a trip. I responded by saying that one of my friends or a family member could take care of it while we were gone and that I wouldn't lose interest in it because I have never lost interest in something living. Then she said remember your brothers pet ( he lost interest in it so it died). I researched the breed of hamster I wanted to get too. And I have enough $$$. How should I ask my mom if I can get a hamster or not?

My BFF and I went to a party on Friday night and expected to have a great time. We'll call her Reilly and me Carol. Reilly knows that like this guy ( we'll call him Steven). So she went ahead and asked him out. HE SAID YES TO HER!!! I thought that she could have told me about what she was going to do but she said that I would have hurt her. I would never have done that over a guy but she didnt believe me. She avoided me the rest of the night except when 2 guys got mad and it was leaning toward a fight so she comes up to us like:
"I need my B****** cuz there's about to be a fight."
It really ticked me off and I need to know what to do about the guy and my BFF.

Low credit score, need a credit card.

So I'm a college student that has never had a credit card. I'm thinking I should start building up my credit, but I've been rejected twice already due to my LACK of credit.
Apparently my credit score is a 543, which is keeping me from being accepted. I have a job, but I JUST started it and only earn about 100/week.
I'm new to this so I have some questions:
- How long do I need to have and use a credit card for my credit score to go up? And how much does it go up?
- If I get a card, I plan on never buying something I won't be able to pay off at the end of the month (so as to not pay interest). Will this affect it? Also, is there a difference between buying something for $20 every month and paying i...

Ok well normally I dont bother with really saying stuff like this but well this is really bugging me. It all started maybe three weeks ago I suddenley really wanted to read ghost love stories,(I know thats normal)but anyway in my bathroom when I'm in the shower I get this strange feeling someone is watching me, then that went on for acouple of days then it started getting worse I would hear footsteps in my bathroom and btw I'm the only one in the house wheh i'm in the shower because my parents are at work, but I hear footsteps, and the bathroom door open then footsteps then it will creek close then footsteps. Need help hooking laptop to TV.

I have a fairly old TV that I would like to hook my laptop up to. It's not ancient, but it's not from the flat-screen era.
My usual way is with a VGA cable, but this TV doesn't even have that. What's the next best (and cheapest!) way?
If someone could provide me with instructions / links to the products I'd need to buy, that'd be great!

Alcohol's effect on the body?

So I'm in my second year of college, and of course I'm being exposed to a lot of alcohol and drug use. Now, before you go into lectures on the dangers of binge drinking, know that I've been responsible and have always stopped myself when I've felt that I've had too much.
But before I REALLY begin to venture into the world of alcohol, I need to know: How does alcohol affect the body? I know that its long-term effects can be very severe, but how exactly does it happen? What I mean is, do only very heavy drinking nights abuse the liver and such? Or can two shots of vodka every week add up to something very detrimental in the future? I don't plan on being a heavy user (just a few drinks on occasion), but I may not even go with the latter if it's that bad for you.

how do i lose weight FAST!

hi,
ok so i really want to loose weight, im 13 years old and female, i weigh 51.3Kg, im 166cm tall and fit a size 12A bra.
i dont want to get a six pack or get buffed with muscle, i just want to get thin and have a soft stomach.
if i lose weight i am scared i will loose my breasts as well and everyone will notice and say i never actually had breasts and i was just wearing a bra to be a try hard.
i am also afraid that if i lose weight my new weight will not match my body type because i have bigger bones, if i lose weight will my bones shape differently to match my weight?
i really want to loose weight and be able to fell comfortable in a bikini.
what are some excises that will make me be able to loos...

tampon trouble

Im a 19 year old female and im struggling with using a tampon. I have had sex, and can guide my finger, however when it comes to a tampon and inserting one... i'm hopeless! i've gotten to that point where i need to rely on tampons, i want to be able to not be limited because i cant use a tampon whilst on my period.
I follow the directions on the packaging and the suggested positions and everything, and even used slim tampons designed for first time use....and i just cannot do it. I dont understand when i can fit a penis and my finger, yet as soon as i even start to put the tampon in, it begins to expand and i cant put it in further, i know its not in far enough because the bottom is still visible and i know its suposed to b...

Im 13 and so depressed. I think i might be suicidal. I almost did an overdose before i went to school today. I guess that does make me suicidal. But instead of an overdose i just cut my wrist, hip, and thigh until you could barely see through all the blood. My question is do I need help? And if I do, what kind of help? I have no friends, i cant pass science or metal shop. And my drawings are getting bad. What should I do. Please help me.

How can I get over my past?

I am looking into getting a new car and im looking at an 08 Mitsubishi eclipse and a Mazda rx8 ooooor a 2007 f150. BUT i have heared a lot of bad things about all of them at some point. do Rx8's really not last? Thats what i keep hearing and I know the eclipse had a few bad years but i thought it was the early 2000 model not the knew one or the ones before 1999.

Hard to sleep

I'm M/16, and I hate how I barely get sleep on weekdays. I'll go to bed at around 12am, wake up at 3am, stay up until like 12am again. Its annoying because in school I'm sleepy and at night I toss and turn constantly until the sun comes up. Even after exercise! I thought it would help. After jogging 6 miles, I still had trouble sleeping! I Can easily sleep right after school but I stopped. I don't drink coffee, energy drinks, & I rarely have soda. BUT on the weekends, I'll go to bed between 2am & 5am, ans get a nice 8-10 hour sleep. I'm afraid I might have to "reset" one day by eating very little, pulling an all nighter and go to bed at 10pm. ???Any advice? I never had this problem before. It developed a few months ago. I ...

My friends husband is crying because he has server stomach pains. He says he's had them for about an hour and he wants us to hold him and comfort him.
