Question Posted Saturday September 17 2011, 12:33 am
ok, so my best friend and I have been good friends for about half a year. I don't know if I'm her best friend but she's definitely mine. Anyway, ever since the beginning of summer I feel like we have sort of been drifting apart. Like, we still have sleepovers and hang out all the time, at school and not at school, but I don't know it just feels like she doesn't even really like me. Also, I feel like she's using me for my older sister. My sister is 16 (I'm 13) and we are very close and she hangs out with all of my friends. I think that she doesn't really like me and uses me for my sister, because whenever we hang out, she always insists on going to my house, whenever My sister and I together, she'll hug my sister first, she'll always sit next to my sister and walk with her, and she mainly just talks to her. I love her so much, she is my bestfriend and I don't want to lose her. Please give me some advice on what to do. I don't want to seem like an overdramatic little girl but this has been bugging me for months. Is there any way to get her to like me more?

If she's acting like that, then obviously something IS up with her. If she cares for you so much, she shouldn't be hugging your sister first or acting like she doesn't even give a crap about you.
You should never have to make someone like you more. They're either worth your friendship, or they aren't. So, just let her know how you feel and tell her your issue. [ BreezyBunny10's advice column | Ask BreezyBunny10 A Question ]
