heyyy!! my name is kristin and im 16 years old. i love to give people advice and help them. i myself have been through many expierences that have made me a stronger and better person.
ok enough with the mushy stuff...
I have five best friends they are:
Natasha,Amanda,Nicole,Pam and Trisha! I love them all like they are my sisters and i dont know what i'd do without them. they all come to me for advice about everything. They always know that i will keep their secrets.
Although i am only 16 i feel like i am a lot more mature then most teens my age.
I love to play volley ball and tennis.Have sleep overs with my girls, take a million stupid pictures, laugh until i cant anymore, and tell jokes that arent funny but i say them anyway.
I have been in love and he broke my heart but he doesnt relize what he is missing. i dont feel i need to have a boyfriend to survive.

Ok so im 14/f n i've been getting my period for a while now. I'm going on a school trip soon and I'm pretty sure i'm gonna have my period then. I've never used a tampon before but there is no way i can wear a pad with my bathing suit on this trip. The problem is i'm afriad to use a tampon and i don't know how. Anyone wanna help!?!

you cant hate her. this is what i do i sit down and talk to her my mom doesnt ever say a word when i talk fo a long time unless to say something gay.. and i also tell her there is nothing going on with me i dont do drugs,drink,i dont have sex with a zillion guys and so on. but i that doesnt work i sit and watch lifetime movies and say see mom i could be like that but im not you taught me better. and if its rly bad just live with ur gram its exactly what i'd do.

The other day I answered someone's question. And in that question I stated that ovulation can also occur after a person's period. ( 6-14 days) which I googled and found out I was right. Another person wrote my advice column to dispute this fact, but turns out she didnt dispute it al all: here is that she said word for word: Oh, and no you are not fertile AFTER your period you fucking idiot. You are not fertile UNTIL 14 DAYS AFTER YOUR PERIOD. Get your facts right. Now does everyone see that she said your NOT fertile AFTER your period, its 14 days AFTER your period! Duh thats what I said! Why do people resort to name calling when trying to dispute something? or is it just this person doesnt posess any class? 5's for all thoughts.. except for her's.

Okay, I'll try to make this short.
My best friend introduced me to this boy, and we all decided we want to be best friends. Well, him and her got super close (they go to catholic school together; i go to public school) and he and I aren't so close. She and I are because we live very close. We've hung out quite a but, and my best friend told me she likes him. Well, of course, after liking her brother for over a year, I decide to like newboy. My friend understood, and was happy that I didn't like her brother anymore. She and I even kind of came to the conclusion that we're taking the "May the best whore win" route of who gets him (if he even likes one of us) But the problem is: I really am getting fond of this boy. We have lots in common and he's everything I could ask for. And we're kind of throwing hints at each other that we like each other (well, that's what it seems like to me). I don't know what to do! I don't want to loose my best friend, but I really like this boy!

if you are joking around with ur (girl) best friend and he likes one of you and not the other in the end it wont be worth it. you will have eachother and boys will always come and go out of your lives..wut im saying is lose the guy or lose both friendships.. sry

Im a sophmore in highschool and im behind 20 credits. My counsler says that there is a 15% chance that i won't be able to walk with graduating class..

Well here's the thing, I was just homeschooled (for 1 semester and thats how i got f**ked up with my credits) and i came back to school for the 2nd semester.

So my question is should i (or would i be allowed to) get homeschooled again for 1 semester next year but instead of effing around actually do my work and catch up majorrly on my credits??

or if any one else has ideas they'd be greatly appreciated.

iam 18 yrs old.male. my problem is that i need around 10 hrs of sleep everyday.and sometimes even more than that.and ive heard that people of my age shoul not sleep for more than 7-8 hrs a day.ive tried doing that but then im not able to stop myself from having a nap in the afternoon. please advice on how to decrease "10-12" hrs to "7-8" hrs of sleep.

teens in general need all the sleep they can get even if you are too busy for it. they need at least 9-10 hrs of sleep.

you need to buy one of those stress balls you can squeeze it until you cant anymore. if you are rly mad make a cup of tea or take a nap try not to think about the reason why you might be mad.

My boyfriend and I have been dating for 3 1/2 months. Before we started going out, we were really great friends. He was my best friend. And I have a STD, HIV actually. I got it from birth because my mother had to get a blood transplant and back in 1986 they didnt check blood for HIV and such, we've been talking about being intimate with eachother. I am 15 and I need to tell him before we have sex. I need help on the following things:


1.) How to tell him: What should I say? Should I have my sister whos like my best friend be there with us?
2.) When should I tell him?
3.) How do I handle the thoughts of being rejected and trusting him?

He is my best friend and I trust him and I talked to him and have told him that I have something I'd like to discuss with him and I made him guess on what it was and he said "is it a genetically passed STD?" and I did not say anything.

I'm scared that he will tell someone. He's very trusting but I dont know, He would be the only person I told besides one person and the only boyfriend I've told. Please help.

I am over my ex, and I have fallen hard for another guy. We have been broken up for over 4 months, (we were together for almost 3 mons., and saw each other all the time at school+outside) but it doesn't feel like it has been that long ago since we have broken up. Even though I'm over him, is it normal to want to avoid watching him move on? I haven't started dating anyone yet so that may be one reason. Plus, it's not really the girl he has moved on with even though she is completely different from me. I just want to know if anyone has felt this way too, and how to deal with it. I have fair skin and im looking for a bathing suite. Im wondering which color suit will look best and not make me look even more pale or make my skin stand out even more.
