Just about a year ago I lost a friend, a really close friend. And well...yes, I was to blame for this. She did something which I totally disagreed with her on, and well, I was so angry, and the matter was so serious, that we just stopped talking. A few weeks ago, I saw her in at school in the hallway, and I got this huge feeling of regret about everything. I realized that I miss her a lot, and that becoming friends with her again would be a big improvement to my life, which btw is quite frankly suffering at the moment. After I realized this though, it didn't make much sense. I don't know her anymore, at all. She could be a totally different person, and the fact that she could and most likely is still mad at me. I don't know how to deal with this.

There is this girl Amanda at my school. She is one of my really good friends. But sometimes I think otherwise. When girls usually go to school they try and get all "dolled up" for the guy they want to impress. I get all "dolled up" so Amanda wont tell me that I don't look good or that my hair looks bad. Is she a real friend or not? What should I do?

well if you dont look good then maybe she is just trying to help but you shoudlnt feel obligated to doll up in the morning... try not doing it one day and see her reation then you can tell if she is a true friend.

moving is always a hrd thing to do but you shoudl tell her right away... amke sure she is one of the firsts poeple you tell. You guys can cry together and what not becuase its hard and that what i had to do when i moved. Just tell her you promise to keep in contact and youll call as soon as you get there... etc. Just be there 2 comfort her and spend as mch time as possible with her.

ahhh!!! im gonna go crazy. one of my best friends thinks her life sucks and it doesn't. because her boyfriend broke up with her and her parents don't treat her right. she said she's going to start cutting herself and that she's given up on God. I don't know what to do. and please don't tell me to talk to her. if you do tell me what to say. because i'm really confused...

well i have a friend with those problems... but seriously she life is sucking for her right now. DOnt say it isnt becuase ovbiously she is having a hard time. Other people might have biger problems but that doesnt mean that her problems dont matter. You just need to be there for her. tell her your there for her and dont put her down. she is ovbiously in a very delicate place. talk to her.

I was in a mental institution and I got really close to one of the staff members that worked there, she helped me in every way possible and I thought of her as my mom. Since I have been out it seems like everytime I call the hospital to talk to her, they make an excuse for me to NOT talk to her. Last night my sister looked her up on the internet and come to find out, she lives a mile away from me, and I have her home phone number, I mailed her a christmas card this morning to her home, but I dont know if I should actually call her at home. I miss her so much and she made such a big impact in my life, what do I do? I don't want her to think that I am like stalking her or anything! ???????

this kind of thing just happened to me. My old best friend isnt my friend anymore but we btoh hang out with the same kind of people. We just learned to tolerate eachother and make small talk when we are i n a situation where we are close to eachother. goodluck

Ok i know this guy online and he thinks im rich .I met him because he made this site called y terror and i went to it and ever since then we became good friends.Well to get to the point he is selling ALL his sites that he worked so hard @ to get money for a car and i dont even think he is using it for a car so i LIED i know i feel really bad now .. and i said i would give him the 800 dollors so he wouldnt have to sale his site now he thinks since i promised him i would send him money from western union that he will get it but the truth is when he goes the money wont be there because i dont have it either and when i lied and said ill give it to him he said

OKay my 2 friends and i are in a fight because it all began when they started taking drugs, smoking, and drinking! i felt uncomfortable so i left them alone and i kind of ignore them too! so anyway today my other friend tells me to come sit at the same table as them i did! well they didn't give me the time of day! last i heard one of them is smoking weed afterschool and it all started with these girls they have been hanging out with! Well fi they are realy your friends you dont just stop being there friends because they do somethign liek that. The best thign 2 do is to keep reminding them and try to help them. I have friends liek this ... but you just need 2 keep reminding them and being there for them.

One of my bff's, Becca, who i've known since i was 5 years old has a very bad self image. She thinks she's ugly, but then again I've never met someone who's ever said "wow im pretty" (about themself). She even started crying the other night and saying that she was depressed because she thinks shes ugly. i have this "friend" and she is always hanging around me and all of my other friends that also don't like her. she's also all huggy and grose. some people from my school are going on a trip and there can only be a certain amount of people in a room and we really don't want her to be in our room. there are two of us right now and we need to find a couple more. she thinks that she is going to be in our room but we don't know how to tell her we don't want her to. ok i have this friend and well ill just say it one: all the time she acts majorly fake (the whole dumb blonde thing)when shes actually really samrt she wants people to like her and shes really desperate, but the thing is its just making people make fun of her they think shes a poser (which she sorta is) and everyone makes fun of her shes tried so many times to fit in and ive told her that she shouldnt care what people think about her becuz its really not important, she always tells me how perfect i am (which i am not) and its really annoying last year she tried to be punk this year shes a major prep and she shouldnt be either ive tried so many times to talk to her and she always promises to start being herself how do i help her help herself without tearing her down?

Well lst year i tryied to be punk... bg mistake.. and this year i am like completely oposite... so i kind of know how your friend feels... but she shouldn't act stupid to make friends... i mean if peopel are only your friends becuase of who you are pretending to be then they arent your friends... what i would do is sit her down and tell her how smart she is... and that she is just wasting it by being stupid... hope i helped a bit

This year i started a new school and made a really good friend. We do a sport together so we became pretty close fast. Well I am switing back to my old school cause i'm really unhappy at the one i am at now. Well i have to tell my new friend that i'm not goin to be goin to school with her anymore. I am having my 17th birthday party in like a week or so and I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas for games, thing to do, etc. Here are something that might help I want the party theme to be pink and silver and the guys can wear red and grey, I have a pool table, big living room. Any ideas will help or you can tell me something about one of your good partys and I can get an idea from that? thanks and there is another problem how can I tell my mom to stay upstairs since guys are going to be there I don't know if she will trust me and I don't want her to be there cause I mean I am going to be 17 she should be able to trust me and I know that everyone will feel really uncomfortable if my mom keeps watching or checking up on us so what can I say to her ? Help and if u have any other idea, anything for a good party tell me please thanks again.

ok i have this friend... and she and used to have looads of fun together and she was someone i could act silly with ya know? but on halloween i asked her if she wanted to hang out and she said she couldnt because she had to "pass out candy" then later i found out that AFTER i asked her, her other friend asked her to hang out and she said yes... hmm a little suspicious? so i got over that but then last tuesday (the tuesday b4 thanxgiving) i asked her if she wanted to go see a movie on wednesday at like 2:30ish.. and she said that her dad couldnt take us or pick us up and neither could her mom... so i was like ok whatever i didnt really care.. but then the next day (wednesday) she said she was going bowling at 2:30! so i was lke well how are you getting there? and shes like oo my dads taking me and then my moms bringing me home at 4... whats up with that??? yea i forgave her once (is that correct grammar?) and now she ditches me again?? i dont think so... what should i do? is she a real friend?? and dont say "well try talking to her" because i tried that and she made up all these stupid excuses... i mean i want to be her friend but not if she treats me like this... any suggestions?

ok , heres the thing , i got mad at my friend and now shes pissed at me and then i thought i should call her but i got no answer . anyway that part doesnt matter much cuz heres the important part , i got mad at my other friend for like using me to send notes to the many guys she likes cuz i like kno all the guys in my skool . ( or at least in the 7th and 8th grades ) and so the other day she wrote a note to a guy and asked me to give it to him so me and my friends went and like wrote stuff on it like the girls name , phone number and ect. and me and my other friends are going to put it in his band locker . does this make me sound like a bad friend or someone whos really angry ? should i send it or not ? im confused

Okay... frst of all... i think that it would be cruel to give him hthe lettter with her mname number etc. Just talk to HER abotu it.. or aybe you will realize that she thinks your lucky to know all these guys... that she isnt really using you but tuely jsut wants you 2 help her. the reason i lied to them is b'cuz i really wanna be as cool as them...they're good lookin' they're famous...and i'm ugly..and infamous..and since i got this cool and gud lookin boyfriend...i began to lie more and more...i kept hiding my real identity and became "the big fat liar"...the more i felt being treated so friendly the more i felt being used..i just dunno why...my therapist says that it was just my conscience..
