Party
I am having my 17th birthday party in like a week or so and I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas for games, thing to do, etc. Here are something that might help I want the party theme to be pink and silver and the guys can wear red and grey, I have a pool table, big living room. Any ideas will help or you can tell me something about one of your good partys and I can get an idea from that? thanks and there is another problem how can I tell my mom to stay upstairs since guys are going to be there I don't know if she will trust me and I don't want her to be there cause I mean I am going to be 17 she should be able to trust me and I know that everyone will feel really uncomfortable if my mom keeps watching or checking up on us so what can I say to her ? Help and if u have any other idea, anything for a good party tell me please thanks again.

OKay i havent trhowen many parties only like 3... or something besides little birthday parties. This is goign to soudn lame but at mine this is what we did:
volleyball outside
ping pon
hot tube
We hoocked up music to speakers and made a playlist that played over the games
inside we had careoke
movie marathon
candy
and truth or dare
also cake
board games
snackyes
oh yea and bout your mom... just tell her honetly.

im not sure what you could do for your party, but about your mom: i think you should tell her that if you need her help or if something goes wrong youll come to her, and let her know that she can trust you to come to her when theres a problem. maybe you can make a deal and tell her that she can come down and check on everything each hour/ half hour (idk how long your party will be). or you could go upstairs and give her an update every half hour/ hour just so shes not worried. good luck with finding something to do and hope your party is fun!

For the party ideas maybe some movies, pool like u said, and some cool and funky stuff. For getting the mom to check this is what you should so: Have your mom pop her head down stairs maybe every 30'mins. No one would notice her head just checking. You two can descus the time limit but there a way where she isnt watching you like an eagle. SHe can come down to refill snacks something thats reanoble for her and you. Do you really think people will come dressed like you want them to?
Don't expect too much from other people. Let them come as they are, you'll get much happier guests and you won't freak out about the girl in the green dress "ruining" your party.

ok well... i don't think you should have the guys wear red and grey because that totally clashes with pink and silver... you should have them wear like blue and grey or black and grey.

all you gotta do is go up to her and be like look this is how its gonna be... and tell her. and your party sounds... uh... well... red and grey dont really go together... but pool is good. the best party game is twister.
