I know nothing about baseball, but Im going with a group of people to a baseball game, Im wondering if you sit on team sides for baseball games or not, so if Im wearing a shirt supporting one team I dont want to be mixed in with people of the other team if that makes sense.

It depends if the game is amateur or professional. Most professional games, it doesn't matter where you sit. But if it's a little league game for elementary kids, then most likely there are sides.

From the way you ask it, it sounds like this is more than high school baseball, and therefore it won't matter where you sit.

And even if you do sit next to someone or a group of people supporting the other team, who cares? Everyone's watching the game anyway ;]

Ok, so i'm going to raise money for a charity, but, i havent narrowed it down to which one i want to do it for yet. there's just so many and im not familiar with most charities. I've looked up some, but if anyone has any really good charities they'd like me to know more about, could you let me know? thank you.

My favorite charity of all time is the Humane Society. It helps animals who have been abused, abandoned, or just strays, find a home to live in. I know that may sound stupid, but these animals are constantly suffering, and it breaks my heart every time I go there and see how many of them still don't have homes =/.

so i dated my best friend...

but i did, and believe it or not, it worked out well.
Unfortunately, after 2 years together, he out of the blue, decided he wasnt sure how he felt anymore, and we broke up.
At first, things were rough, we considered getting back together, and he knew he still had feelings for me.

Here we are, a year later. We are still best friends, and talk every day.
We never got back together, and after that first week, he never told me he loved me ever again.

I have never stopped loving him through it all.

I've seen a therapist, and have pretended its not happening.

I've told him my feelings, then didnt mention it again after he said he felt different.

I've tried everything! But, a year later, and I still love him.

The only thing that will ever make being in love with someone wrong is if it's affecting your daily life. That is, if you're still completely devastated by it after 5 years. [Though, who am I to put a time limit on grief?] So, is it affecting your daily life?

If it isn't- don't worry about it. And I'm not going to be naive and say you can just forget right now in some simple and easy steps, because I know you can't from experience.

Just let time pass. Eventually, with time, of course, it will fade, and if it doesn't, well it will. =]

Don't worry about being in love with him. It's alright. You're on speaking terms, and everything is alright. You're still friends, and shouldn't that count for something?

I think you both know it isn't going to work out, so just let time be the judge of what is going to happen.

Again, the most important thing I can tell you is to relax and not let this eat at you. It only makes it worse.

Anytime sperm gets near a vagina- there is a chance of pregnancy. Yes, that means pre-cum, too.

just got the part of Sandy in Grease! But I really need help because this is my first major lead (other than Veruca in Willy Wonka even though that doesn't really count) and I'm really nervous! Does anyone have any tips and any suggestions for this part?

First of all, congratulations!

I'm also in theatre, so I know how good it feels to get the lead =]

I've never done or seen Grease as a stage production, so my advice isn't specific.

Always concentrate. ALWAYS. Even in your first few rehearsals. This is the one thing that my director says ALL the time, and it really works. If you're concentrating and staying in character, you will do wonders, my friend ;].

Rehearsal is not limited to, and should NOT be limited to the time spent on the stage, in the choir room, or whatever. Rehearsal is also at home. Practice your lines and songs AT HOME as well as at rehearsal. You don't have to stress yourself out about it. Just take rehearsal at home in moderation. Look over only a few scenes a night, or over just one song per night. What I do know is that you sing the majority of the songs. So from the moment you get your script- take each night and work on a new song every night. Take it part by part and just practice.

This was something I wish someone had told me. I was the lead in Clue?, and if you've ever seen it, you know that the butler [my part] has 3/4 of the lines of the show. I was very sloppy about learning my lines, and at one of our rehearsals, I didn't know the second act AT ALL, and it was SO embarrassing. If you keep practicing your lines and such, that shouldn't happen to you.

If you aren't sure how to sing a part- ask your director. Don't be afraid to. They are there to DIRECT you, not to put you down. They put you in the part for a reason. They wouldn't have put you there if they didn't think you could do it ;]

Always remember not to get too cocky about having the lead. No one likes to see that. Be modest about your part and always have a positive attitude, and you will do just fine =]

I'm an 18 year old male, just graduated from high school. I made the mistake of speeding one too many times, and as a result, my license is suspended. Luckily, it got suspended right after I quit my job.

It's now summer. Naturally, like every other graduated senior, I like to stay out late with friends and my girlfriend. My mom has told me to call her when I end up staying the night somewhere, but I haven't been doing that because I don't want to wake her up (she wakes up early for work and needs her sleep).

She told me today that I need to get a job and come home by 1am every night. She is unwilling to take me to a job, so I don't know how I'd get there with a suspended license. And 1am? I'm 18, for goodness sake. She said she'll kick me out if I don't do those two things.

What do I do?

She is your mother, and on top of that, you are still living in HER household. That means that you have to follow her rules. I know, that sucks. I have to deal with it, too ;]

In other words, I don't think the 1am thing is very strict. Actually it's VERY lenient. Even my brother, who is now 19 and still lives with us [he's in college- staying on campus is too expensive], his curfew is often midnight or even earlier. I say you're getting it easy with that ;]

As for the job thing, I don't think that is fair for your mother to tell you to get a job without taking you. Then again, you shouldn't have been speeding, but who am I to judge.

I would approach her about taking you one more time to get a job, and if she absolutely refuses to take you, then I would ask a friend. If no one is able to take you, tell your mom about this, in a reasonable manner, and go from there.

YES, I realize that's about getting a girl to like a guy, but just switch the genders and the idea is the same. Some of the things in the list won't apply, but some will.



My point really is this: if you're going to change yourself just so this guy can like you more and keep you on his mind- what's the point? He's going to be thinking about a girl that ISN'T you. So I have been thinking a lot about college lately and I have been set on being a news girl. cute right? ha right. Anyways, what would be some good things to look into before college like working for my schools newspaper right? I would really appreciate some other ideas ! thanks

Yes. Definitely become involved in your school's newspaper. Usually to do that you have to take some type of Journalism class- which is actually a really interesting class because the rules are continuously changing =].

Also try to get involved in the announcements somehow. Like the announcements at my school are broadcast to everyone on the TVs, and it's through a TV Broadcast class. If something like that is at your school, get involved in that.

Also, if your town/city has a newspaper, send in articles all of the time about sporting events, etc.

Basically get involved in anything dealing with Journalism.

Talk to your counselor- they would know more than me ;]

Well this is what you need to do. If your parents were really offended by it, and you're HONESTLY sorry about it, then apologize.

If apologizing is not what you want to do, then I don't know what you can do. Maybe just let your parents know that you are likely going to continue your... escapades with making out, and that they should at least respect that you are old enough to make decisions for yourself.
