LM answered Wednesday June 25 2008, 1:16 am:
Different sweeteners, therefore a slightly different taste.

Also I read something about Coke Zero being marketed towards people who wanted something less caloric than regular soda, but thought that "diet coke" was too wimpy, or something.

To my knowledge Coke Zero has less nutrasweet than Diet Coke. Also, they claim that it is supposed to taste closer to the real thing (probably since they managed to make it with less artificial sweetener). I have a few friends who definately agree, and who claim that the nasty diet coke after taste is not as strong. I have not tried coke zero myself so I cant really offer a personal opinion.

Diet Coke is made without sugar- meaning mainly Splenda.

Coke Zero has zero calories.

I think that's the only main difference.
