I have Bipolar 1 Disorder. I hate taking all these medications and always going to doctors appointments, but life is too short to let mental illness get the better of me.


Often times life is a challenge, and nobody knows that better than me. I wake up wondering if this is going to be a day my illness overpowers my meds, and either sends me flying like a bat out of hell, or leaves me laying on the couch like a wet dish rag.


Thank all that is good in the world that I have an excellent support system at home.

Well, your arm might try to tell you can wax a car too much, but your car will love it. ;)

Keeping wax on your car is a good thing. It protects the paint- it doesn't damage it.

So, its my birthday, on july 20th. and i'm super excited. I guess. I mean i'm not having a party this year, and so my mom says i can get whateverrr i wanntt. like anythinggg.

but i already have alot of stuff. lol
this is what i havee..
-cell phone [whem my contracts up in september im getting one of those choclate phones] so ya dont need a cell phone.
-i dont need clothes. as weird as that sounds, i havent even worn half of my summer clothes yet.
-i have an ipod nano, its pink. so i dont need one of those.
-i just got a puppy a few months ago.
-i have a digital camera.
-i have wayyy too much make up.
-i have my own computer.
-i have my own flat screen tv in my room.
-i have lots of expensive jewerly.
-i have a pool, in my backyard, [i got that a few years ago for my bday..] and its huge. so dont need that
-i have a trampoline, which isnt old.

My 8 year old brother just rescued 2 teeny tiny baby rabbits from our neighbors dog, Cocoa. They would possibly live, but we dont know what to feed them...ANY tips on what to do in this situation would be appreciated. Thank you SO much.

Call your local vet and ask them how to care for them. Especially if they were injured by the dogs, you need to learn how to properly care for the wounds.
You may be able to get them to eat vegetation like lettuce and whatnot, but if they are just tiny babies, then they might not, especially if they are hurt.
Your vet is a professional and will give you the best advice.

I have been dating this guy for 10 months on the 25th of this month. When we first started dating I love him so much, but then we got further in the relationship and I found out things I didn't like for instance I made a fake myspace with a pretty girl for the person and I started talking sexy to him to see if he would go for it or say he has a girlfriend. In conclusion to that he pretty much was all over her and tried to get "her" to come over to him house to have sex. I would suggest you try to find a way to earn the money back. Mow lawns for pay if you have to. You took the money, you spent it, you need to earn it and pay it back.

Then you need to hand the money to your friends and tell them what you did and that you are sorry to have done it.

Even if you can't earn the money, you STILL need to tell them what you did. They at the very least deserve your honesty in the matter.

Next time you get a wild hair to steal money from your friends, try asking for it first. I'm sure that they would rather give it to you if you felt you needed it bad enough to steal it from them.

there is this really annoying boy at school who wont stop herassing me his two friends that do it aswell but only when they are with him!!! He comes up 2 me and hugs me and says i love you jokingly, and then he is always taking the mic out of me infront of everyone saying stuff like what are you doing here, no one likes you, so and so said they hate you and just pretend to be your friend etc.
its so annoying i dread going to school because of him HELP!!

Plain and simple- ignore him, he's an idiot. When he realizes that his Tom-foolery isn't getting a rise out of you, he'll find some other poor soul to pester.

Tell him to keep his paws off of you, if his hugging bothers you. If you tell him to stop touching you, and he doesn't respect your space, you better bring the matter to your parents so they can take care of the problem.

Other than that, who cares what he has to say? He is just saying people are pretending to be your friends because he knows it gets under your skin. You know better and your friends know better, so what he has to say about it doesn't matter.

For my first car, I want something "newer looking" so I don't anything under a 2002, fast, automatic, and 15,000 or under. I made a list of possible cars.

- 2004 Subaru WRX
- 2002-2004 BMW 325i or 325iC
- 2005 Hyundai Tiburon

& if i can find a Infiniti G35 coupe that is in my price range, then that too.

Ok, don't think I'm a jerk, here because I'm just being realistic.

A Corvette is what fits my standards, but I drive a clunky looking GMC Jimmy because it gets me and my brood safely down the road without drinking a pile of gas.

I'm not saying that your standards are too high, or that you should buy a hunk of junk. I'm saying you got to put your automobile needs before your automobile style.

Why? Because I bought the sweetest slickest looking 1990 Camaro. I'm telling you, that baby was SHARP, now. However, mechanically it was a piece of crap. And it wasn't a high mileage car. It was just a mechanical piece of crap.

You don't want to get a cherry looking Beamer and have it end up throwing a rod or something and leaving you stranded.

I would say they are all good cars, and you definitely have the right idea about wanting something with low mileage.

Which car do I like best? I would choose any of them because so far as I know, they all have good gas mileage, considering gasoline is liquid gold at this point. So high MPG is good to look for.

Let me give you a few tips:

CHECK THE FLUIDS BEFORE YOU BUY! Pull dipsticks and open the radiator cap!
Make sure the oil isn't black and full of metal flakes or gunk. It should be smooth and be a transparent golden brown.

The radiator should be full, and the liquid should be a transparent limey green color. It shouldn't be cloudy, yellowy, goopy, or have floaties.

The transmission fluid should be a transparent red, and not have debris or metal flakes. You'll be able to see any nasties on the dipstick, and the same goes for the oil.

Don't be embarrassed to ask where the dipsticks for oil and tranny are, or where the radiator cap is and how to open it if you don't know.
There is nothing to be ashamed of about it. You are forking out cash for something that you want to be a sound running vehicle.

Don't trust the salesman to tell you it is a pile of steaming turd on wheels. He's going to tell you it is in good shape in order to get you to buy it.

Okay well, all my life I felt like I have grown up all by myself. My parents weren't really there for me. I am the oldest out of four kids, and my parents would always leave us at my grandma's house when we were young. And when I started school they started leaving us at home alone. My parents would always be too tired, so they would never help me with my homework. I felt that I had to grow up and become someone important just so they can pay attention. So I would try so hard at school. I would get straight A's, get awards, and other stuff. But they simply didnt' show that they cared. They just always said "good job" and that's it. As I got older they kept pressuring me to become a lawyer at age 9. I felt so pressured. And now at age 15, I want to tell them that I don't want to be a lawyer. And that I don't want to stay in Anaheim or California. I really want to tell them, but they have so many expectations for me. I mean, they REALLY want me to be a lawyer and stay with them forever. I don't know how to tell them because my mom has panic attacks. And well, my dad can has had strokes in the past. I don't know how to break the news to them without them dying. What should I do? Am I a bad daughter for telling them that I don't want to be what they want me to be? Help, please.

You go and do what it is YOU want to do. It is your life to lead.

This is a case of parents wanting to live vicariously through their daughter, and the only thing they are doing for her is making tough life decisions seem overwhelming.

You are just going to have to tell them that NO, you don't want to be a lawyer, and THIS school is where you want to attend.

They will have no choice but to accept that fact. Once you get out of high school, you are 18- a legal adult who can make their own decisions.

So many kids let their parents bully them into following the parent's dreams and not their own. Some say "Well we won't pay for your college if you go there and do this." Bullshit. Get a job, student loan, or pell grant.

My Dell Inspiron 600m constantly keeps switching between battery and electricity even though I keep it plugged in. I have to finagle with the power cord to make it use electricity. I replaced the power cord about 6 weeks ago because the old power cord stopped working. My battery is not one of the batteries that was recalled; nor did I ever have one of the recalled batteries in my computer. What could be wrong?

Sounds to me like the cord isn't the problem, but the port where the cord plugs into your computer.

You should take it in and have a tech look at it and fix it. If your computer is still under warranty, then that should be covered.

I have been drinking coffee regularly since I was in junior high, and my memory is just fine. And we are talking, what? 15 years or so?

Stunting growth I believe is myth. I was 5'2" when I was a freshman, and walked out of school at 5'7". So if it stunted growth, would I be as tall as the average male?

And like I said, I was a coffee drinker before my freshman year, and I have always drank lots of coffee in a day.

I have been saving money to buy a large bird. I am looking for a parrot, but not some parakeet/cocatail type bird. What I am looking for is a bird that is legal to keep in California, and one that is smart, affectionate, and is known for personality. I don't really care if its ugly or loud (I have two parakeets at home.. AAAHH!... but I can deal with it). Also, IT DOESN'T HAVE TO TALK.

My price range is 600 dollars. I am a big fan of Sun Conures, and African Grays (although unfortunately I can't afford one, they're like two-three thousand dollars.)

Any personal bird favorites within my price range?
