hey i sometimes have acne, and i wanna learn how to blend it in like you cant see it with concealer and foundation. Have any tips? =)

Heres a few tips.
Well, first DONT use concealer! Its not good for acne and will definitely make it worse. And concealer is very light so it will draw more attention to it. Yellow tones are the best and tend to look more like your skin tone.
Okay heres what you should do to cover up acne:
- Put on moisturizer (oil free is good) all overyour face.
- Then use your finger or a bush to cover the acne with foundation. Dont over rub or your zits will just remove all of it.
- Set with yellow-toned poweder on a piece of cotton.

CONFIDENCE. Guys love it when a girl is confident! So, wear your favorite outfit and act like your comfortable in your own skin.

Hm, I guess you just have to be interested in something they like! Dont talk about makeup with them or anything, talk about a great adventure movie you want to see. Ask them for advice about guys so they know youre not trying to get with THEM. Treat them like a brother and joke around with them. Tease them playfully in a non-flirtful way. I agree with you that girls are annoying and hard to be friends with. Invite a few guys over for a movie and FOOD hang out. Just make sure you dont lose yourself just to be friends with guys.

Hi, Im 15 I was thinking I would wear a mini jean skirt, brown leggings, brown uggs, a redish low cute shirt with a pink tank top under the shirt. I would wear this to school. Do you think this sounds ok to wear or is it to weird. If you think its weird can you give me advice on how to make it look cool.
Instead of the red and pink shirts, I would just wear a white long sleeve shirt. White and bron go very good together! Also, if the color the uggs dont match the brown of the leggings, dont wear them! They will clash. Instead, I would wear black or gray leggings. Another good idea is instead of leggings (I agree with the skin thing the person below me said) try leg warmers from hollister that pop up from under the uggs! I love the mini jean skirt though. Also, to add a touch, a big, brown chunky necklace would be so chic and trendy. :]

i have this small bump behind my ear. it's under the skin & some what hard. i've had it for years now. it's pretty small, doesn't hurt at all. i wouldn't even notice it was there until i felt it awhile ago. it's on my head directly behind my ear. it's not red or irritated. when i touch it, other then the bump, it feels like anything else. no pain whatsoever. should i go get it checked?? it doesn't seem too serious, only because i've had it for years, it stayed the same size [never got bigger or smaller for that matter], and was never painful. any ideas??

how do you get a best friend? I have some friends now that I dont really think will be best friend material, though they are my friends.... but sometimes i want that person that i can do anything with and just have fun and stuff. but its hard to find!

The way to get a best friend is to be a loyal friend! Ive found that being the person that someone can count on, a shoulder to lean on really pays off. Dont gossip or spread rumors or start drama if you want a best friend. And just try to find one person you are closest to and bond. It happens naturally, of course, you cant really force it. But you can invite people over and be a good friend. :]

It probably has to deal with emotion, business, stress and HORMONES. Hormones can make us dislike the people we LOVE because we are on such high emotions. I have my days like that where I simply cannot control my feelings and I just want to hate everyone. Its normal teenage feelings..it doesnt mean you dont love him and its nothing to cry over.

Theres really no way to make it go any faster. You dont want to rush because if you rush, you run the risk of putting it in wrong and it will be VERY uncomfortable. Its better to take your time. I think if it really does take you that long, ask to go to the NURSE instead of the bathroom. Then tell the nurse that you need to use her bathroom to put in a tampon (She will understand.) About the noise - in my school, we turn the water on so it runs and blocks out noise when we go to the bathroom. It works.

I have the best friends ever... but the only problem is they ONLY party, get drunk, and do drugs. I on the other hand dont and dont want too. I know it would be fun to go to a party and get drunk. But my last experience was horrible and i want to party sometime but im afriad i'll have another bad experience and regret it. (also haven't drank any alcohol in over a year) I don't think my friends find me fun because id rather sit home then go out and party. should i try to party a few times or just do what i usually do and spend time home?
Now is a time where people segregate. The people who want to party and get drunk and the people who DONT and find it stupid and a waste of time. Alot of people only drink in high school to be cool and fit in with everyone else. Theres only a small percentage of people who actually like to drink..alone. Its a social thing! You dont have to hang out with your friends if you KNOW theres going to be alcohol. But, you might want to rethink this. (Im not saying you should drink, Im saying you should try to get past the fear of regret.) Which basically means youre afraid to drink because of one bad experience. Unfortunately, I hope you know youre missing out on good times and high school experience. But, I dont want to tell you you should drink because its very bad! I think you should find some friends that dont drink but still keep the ones that do. Try to do fun things with them so they know youre not boring. (Other than partying.) Like a huge sleepover or something. Whatever it is, dont give up your values!

My boyfriend knows that I HATE when he drinks. My mom used to be an abusive alcoholic. So he understands.
I`m spending New Years with him, and a bunch of his friends are over & their playing video games. I was taking a shower, and when I got downstairs I was in the kitchen and I overheard his room mate say, "Go get a beer!" & My boyfriend was like, "Well, you know... I just can't. The girlfriend!" So now I`m mad because I`m sitting upstairs in his room being bored while everyone else is downstairs enjoying themselves. I don`t want to be around a drunk & I hate it. I just don`t fit in either. Its fine youre mad..you have every right to be. But, you need to make a choice. He's 22! Obviously, you know when theres that big of an age difference theres going to be other differences too. Also, if you dont want to drink you cant really FORCE his friends not to. You can talk to him about it, but it seems like he knows. You said he knows that you HATE when he drinks. And didnt he reject the whole beer idea? I think you need to make a choice.
a) Break up with him. If he drinks and you really cant be around him, choose not to be around the alcohol.
b) Only hang out with him alone. Its probably not a good idea to hang out with him and his friends because guys change with their friends. And no matter what, his friends are gonna drink.
c) Talk to your boyfriend and risk the chance of him thinking youre annoying/immature/nagging him.

Ok, my new years resolution is to lose weight...my problem is that i do NOT like to exercise. I've tried many sports, but do not like them. I need exercise ideas. I like to swim, but have NO access to a pool. I really really need ideas for this...and another thing...does slim fast work? I wanna know. Thanx soooooo much in advance!!!
First of all, excercise doesnt have to be boring. I know how you feel..its hard work to get up and excercise! :] I would try doing something fun instead of excercising! I put on dance music and just dance crazy..it makes me sweat and get more tone than when I used to go to the gym, run, etc! Its really fun. Also, put on the TV and do some simple crunches for your abs. I also reccomed buying an aerobics/dance DVD. Some good ones are the girls next door workout video. I dont know if you know the show, but I love those girls! Slim fast has, like 300 or more calories. Its supposed to fill you up so you dont eat anything else besides slim fast. So, if you feel full it will work, yes.

What age do you think it is appropriate for a girl to lose her virginity and talk to her parents about birth contol?
Whenever the girl is emotionally, physically and mentally ready! And shes with a person she LOVES. If you have to think about it a lot and almost PUSH yourself to do it, youre not ready. I think age has a little to do with it. Obviously youre more ready at 20 than at 13 - just my opinion. Not everyone agrees, though. I think a girl should be able to talk to her parents about birth control at ANY AGE. Information should be given to kids when theyre 12 or 13 mainly, before they get very sexually active.

my friend lets say JENNY is turning 16.
now, her parents left her best friend CINDI in charge of inviting ten people. So CINDI wanted my help trying to decide who to invite.

I would just straight out ask her. "So, what'd you do this weekend? Did you hang out with anyone cool?" or "Who are your closest friends beside us in school?" If she wants to know why, just play it off like its a huge joke. DONT tell her its for the party (It sounds like a surprise and you wouldnt want to ruin it.) A very good lip gloss for you would be a sheer pink OR clear. :] I use lip gloss from Victoria's Secret. It's only like $7.
I love Hollister for jeans but you really have to search and search to find good ones and they might be a little more than $35. Also, pac sun is REALLY good for jeans. I always get my jeans there. I love the brand Tilt! And Kohls is always good as well and cheap!

I dont know about a brand but I know BIG pockets, WITHOUT any designs on the back or intricate detail or those pockets with the big flaps & buttons. Avoid all of these and your butt will appear smaller. Also, dark washes of jeans will also work.

Im sorry you're very upset about the loss. But, first be rational and think about why he broke up with you. Maybe it just isnt meant to be. Maybe he doesnt want a girlfriend. Whatever it is, I think he did it for a reason and theres not much you can say/do to change that. I hate to say it, but you might have to just accept the fact that its over. You CAN do this. Alot of guys respect that a girl wants to wait until marriage to lose their virginity. But some guys arent. And those guys are insensitive assholes. Or they just dont have the same beliefs as you. When a guy is 14, obviously he wants to give up his virginity. But faith always rules over what a guy wants. In the end, its YOUR decision. Your body. I think its great you want to wait till marriage if its what you really want to do. It shows you have value. And if a guy really LOVES you, he'll wait!
