i was dating this guy for about 3 months and things got pretty serious. we spent every day together and he would stay and my house and vice versa. his ex girlfriend called one night and he broke up with me to see if things would work with her and they didnt. he called about a month after we broke up and said that he made a huge mistake for breaking up with me cause i was the best thing that had ever happened to him. we got back together and things were great, actually better than ever or so i thought. one day when she called again he started getting weird again and told me that he once again needed time. i took all of my stuff from his house and said that i wasnt playing second best anymore. i gave him all i had and thought that this was it. that he was the one. and unfortunately im a mess over him. i know he treats me horrible in this situation but ive never been so inlove with someone before. and i dont know what to do. someone just help. please.

You have a right to hurt. But no matter what the mistake was to take him back the first time. He is playing you and his EX. To me it sounds like they were never over each other, When she calls he says he wants to see if it will work out. I don't think that he is a heartless guy but I think that he needs to seriously get over her because how many times will it take him to find out that they will not work. If you stand there for him each time he finds out that she is not the one your going to have one messed up heart. Right now you need to try as much as you can to get over him. I would enjoy going out with your friends and doing things that make you happy. Maybe nothing will make you happy but just try. don't stay home all the time and feel sorry for yourself (even if you REALLY want to) You have to tell yourself that you two were not meant for eachother. You may feel that he was the one but he ovbiosly is not over her and if her comes back to you BEGING you to take him back, stand your ground and say no. He has broken your heart and he has gone back to her TWICE.

Sorry for your broken heart, I hope it heals fast and you can find the right guy for yo uthat you deserve.
Don't force yourself to date right away if your not ready. just give yourself time for you heart to heal.

yea well, like i said we went out....my mom broke us up cuz my brother told him and my mom that i was sitting on another guys lap and stuff and of course Gary had NO trust in me at all and he believed them so he told me he wants nothing to do with me. even though i told him a million times that i didnt do it. he still doesnt trust me.

Sorry that happened to you. I don't know what to say to you really but I would tell your mother and you brother calmly that you did not appreciate them at all saying that. No matter how much they didn't like him. He is your BF not theirs, They can have their opinion but they should not interfear.
Tell you ex the truth again and if he won't listen or doesn't trust you then I would your relationship with him is pretty much gone.

How do I delete a question from my advice column once I have answered it?

Very easy, You just click the "Edit Answers" link on the right side of your screen and you go to that question you want deleted click "edit answer" and just high light all your advice and back space click "Edit Answer" and it will say that that question a has been deleted frome your column.

Well it depends, does he show any sign of likeing you? You say that he MAY. I know you can't be sure. some how I think that he does and your trying not to say it or something.
I think you should give yourself (And him) just a lil bit of time before you tell him and if your pretty sure if he likes you even if your not sure than i would. I think sence he is your best friend I think that you should talk to him face to face. talk out your feelings. you dont' want to ruin your friendship.

"0How to have a good relationship with a guy?" hmmm.... well I don't think there is a certain way to. To be honest I haven't had the best luck with guys either, Never have kissed a guy or held a guys hand. So you see I'm in the same boat as you.
I think what makes guys intrested is your personality and your confidence. if your confident with your self and am happy I think that attracts guys. You may have bad luck with guys because its just not right yet. You may still have to find that "right Guy". I think its the guys you date not you.
Don't change to immpress a guy or make him happy. You should always be happy with who you are.

I'm postive that you will find a guy thats right for you. It may not be right now but you will.

lol, Yeah i know what you mean. I think it will all pass and most people do get a lil' bit jealous when someone they like (No matter if a celberty of regular joe) starts dating.
We all might be crazy about some person that is in the public eye and we can be jealous but most of us will never really have the chance of dating the person. Thats fine, We can obbcess over them but not to the point when we leave our real life behind.
Is it effecting your relationship with you BF? if it isn't thats fine, and don't try to hide the fact that your jealous, just make sure he knows that you think that he WAY more cute that Bowwow (even if he isn't) it boosts his self esteem knowing that you think that.

everytime i go to go and sleep.. i always have a hard time getting to bed because my mind wrestles all lifes stupid problems.. and its so bad.. b/c ill be up 1-2 hours just battling with my mind when i just want to be at peace and get some rest... ne tips on how to fall STRAIGHT to sleep? thx much appreciated

Well I totally understand because I also do this everytime I go to sleep. It's hard because I go to bed at like 12:00 and I can't sleep for a couple hours.

What I have begone to do to help me sleep is I think of some thing that makes me really happy (as weird as I sound) like my crush or something and then I force my eyes to close and then start up a dream. This takes a while sometimes but you go to sleeo faster than just laying there. It takes practice to really be able to do it and I really don't know if it will work for anyone else.
I know some of the other advicenators might say to take somekind of sleeping pill. Maybe tyonil nighttime or something. (Im kinda against anykind of pill)

Like I said I have this same problem but just do what i said or take the pill. whatever works for you!

HeY! Besides taking Midol or asprin, what a good way to realive or get rid of cramps?! ThAnKs!! I really need the advice! =)

Exercize (Though I hate moving when I'm on my period), Heating pad ( that helps alot) Or a nice long bath.

those are about the only things I can think of with out taking anykind of pill.

Well I don't really know but the only place I can think of is maybe is church. Most churches may teach good morals but most the time they aren't that good. (i'm trying to be rude, Hoestly) Mormons ( LDS ) don't drink any kind of achochhol, or caffine (coffe, tea, extr) we don't date until were 16, we have different activitys and stuff. What i trying to say is that that guys have really good morals. I know. now I'm not trying saying anything aganist other religions but mormons have a rep for being very wholesome. Thats my opion. hope I helped

hey well i think you should all read this..just think before you act.

....before you make that first cut remember. You will enjoy this. You will find the blood and pain release addictive. Even though you think you can make a few tiny cuts that aren't deep and will heal easily ...they will get deeper. They will scar. They will take sometimes months to heal!!! And years for the scars to fade! IF you think you can limit the cutting to one area of your body think again...it will spread when you run out of skin. Be prepared to withdraw from others and live in a constant state of shame. Even if you are the most honest person ever to live ....you will find yourself lying to the people you love. You will jerk back from your friends when they touch you as if their hands were dipped in poison. You will be terrified that they will feel something under the cloth of your shirt or because it just plain hurts so much to be touched.
Be prepared to get so out of control you fear your next cut because you don't know how bad it will be. Just wait for 10 cuts to turn into 100....Be prepared for your entire life to revolve around thinking about cutting ..cutting and covering up cutting And just wait till that first time you cut "too deep." And you freak out because the blood won't stop...and you are gaping....and you feel yourself shaking all over. You are having a panic attack and you are terrified but you can't tell anyone. So you sit there alone...praying it will be ok swearing you'll never let it go this far again...But you will and further. Don't worry, you will learn how to take care of your cuts so that you can go deeper and deeper and avoid the ER. And the better you get at treating your cuts the deeper they get.
You will lie to yourself and justify it when you find youself spending 20 , 30 or 50 dollars every time you go the pharmacy. You will feel the flutter of your heartbeat everytime you go to the counter to ring up your order. Butterfly strips...3 or four different kinds of dressings...betadine....antibiotic cream..medical tape..scar reducers.....You will tap your foot impatiently hoping the line will just move and no one will stare at you or wonder why you need all these things. And at the same time secretly hope someone will notice...someone who is standing in line with an armful of the same supplies...someone who understands but of course that never happens.
Medical supplies won't be the only thing you spend all your money on. Be prepared to buy a new wardrobe...longsleeve shirts in summer colors, bracelets, wristbands , boots... gloves..the list goes on and on.
You will start looking at everyone in a differnent way...Scanning their bodies for any signs of Self Injury... just hoping that you might meet someone like you so you don't feel so terribly alone. You wont even think about it ..as your eyes scan their wrists arms...hoping just hoping they will be like you....But they are not. You will see their clean arms and feel terribly ashamed and alone.
You will start doing a lot of things alone. You will always have to wash your laundry in private so know one sees the blood stains on your clothes and towels. You will always be cleaning up the blood..Scrubbing your bathroom floor...wiping the blood of your keyboard....
You won't be able to make it through a day without cutting....Next thing you know you are in a public bathroom somewhere breaking open a scab with a sewing needle that you keep in your wallet for emergancies. When you get really desperate anything will be a cutting tool ...scissors...a car key...a needle ... a paperclip..even a pen. Doesn't matter what it is if you need to cut bad enough you will find something.
Say goodbye to things you took for granted. Like wearing shorts or sandals...pedicures...sleeveless tops.
A normal summer day at the beach or in a swimming pool will become a far off memory for you.
Get ready to itch. Beacuase you will itch and itch ..."so much you will look like you have fleas or a skin disease."
You will become an expert on your body as you destroy it carefully.. You will dream about cutting...you will dream about being exposed. It will haunt you day and night and take over your life. You will wish you never made that first cut because while you absolutely HATE cutting...at the same time you love it and can not live with out of it.

Wow, this is just a eye opener. I will say that I have never cut myself but literly came within' 1 inch of cutting myself. I have always wondered how cutters really felt when teh cut themselves. This makes me feel so amazed that people do this yet I now because I so wanted to feel real pain and not just pain inside myslef that I couldn't hadnle. I think you should send this too a teen magazine, they might publish it because it's so detalkied and its real.
