No, you don't have to be rich to be popular (well, in my school that is.) It is mostly about the people they hang with,their confidence,if your cool and if you can get along with alot of people. Some of the popular kids in my school aren't rich at all and i live in a rich community. This girl in my school who is such a biatch to me and a lot of people she is popular because her best friends are popular and it is like a mini plastic group. She has a lot of problems because she is poor,not good looking at all,has a messed up family and can't afford the most fashionable clothes and borrows or even steals her friends clothes. Getting your braces off isn't that bad and it doesn't really hurt but you will probably feel pressure on your teeth. First, they take the wires out. Then, they use these pilers to take everything like the brackets etc. After that they get the glue off and polish your teeth. I don't think you should take pain killers. But, if your mouth is really that sensitive then you can talk to your orthodontist before the process of getting your braces removed. ♥ Peachgirly

Apply Aloe to the affected area. it can be from an aloe plant where you just rip it off and put some on or this bottle of aloe that you can buy from the store. this may sound strange but after each use from the bottled aloe formula put it in the fridge and then it will feel soothing cause itz cold. and apply sunscreen whenever you go out. Have a group study session with your friends and it really helps. Have your friends quiz you and when you don't get something you can ask them. But if you can't have a study session with your friends then have a family member or a sibling help you study and test you. Also bring your books/materials home and for each subject review it by writing some things that you didn't know or get. Try making flashcards and study them. I think that you should just relax and have fun during your freshman year but then you should still work hard and don't over stress. At first when I was going to be a freshman I thought that I was going to be miserable and that High school would suck. Because all of these people were like OMG! itz going to be so hard and my 8th grade teachers were like you have to work really hard, itz not gonna be fun and stuff like that. But, freshman year isn't that bad becuase I pretty much didn't work hard at all and i slacked off and i still got good grades. But i know that for sophmore and junior year the classes will be harder, you'll be busy and you have less time to do anything else. so my advice to you is don't worry too much and don't over stress. also hang out with your friends and you'll have fun meeting new people in your classes. ♥ Peachgirly
