why doesnt this site let you share your poems anymore? i mean I know this is a advice site but it was nice to get fead back on your poem and ADVICE on how to make it better. So i was just wondering cuz it really helped make my peoms better.
I have my own website to upload my poems. ([Link](Mouse over link to see full location) in case you wanna see it.) You could make your own website and upload whatever you want to it. Then let people post comments so they can give you advice and criticism and all that.
Peachgirly answered Sunday June 5 2005, 3:07 pm: I'm not really sure but maybe it is because this site is mostly for asking for advice on a problem and people are annoyed by it. But try fictionpress.com and you can get feedback by other people. ♥ Peachgirly [ Peachgirly's advice column | Ask Peachgirly A Question ]

*Aaaanndd... to answeR youR question:
--- I assume it's, because most people don't want to be botheRed to take the time out to Read allllll the way thRough a poem, just to fuck up and have to Re-Read it, because they'Re taRds who didn't undeRstand it the fiRst TWO times. And I guess they assume that if THAT wasn't bad enough... you'Re asking THEM to THEN skim thRough it and lists the PRos and Cons. And otheR people will simply feel like they won't KNOW HOW to be of any help, so they'd just RatheR not botheR mixing you up.
- Now, THAT'S just what *I* think.
*AdvicenatoRs has THIS to say:
--- "Please do not post your poetry here. If you need advice on how to be a poet or launch your poetry career, that's okay, because this is an advice site. But it's not an opinion site. Try going to [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) or search for poetry forums like this: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) "
--- But yet.. if you notice.. MANY of the questions on heRe ARE NOT advice questions at all; so go figuRe!!
Know that you can *always, *always, *always feel fRee to come to me foR an honest opinion. I'm ceRtainly NO expeRt... but I will tRy my best to be of assistance, and tell you what I Really feel.

MFS answered Sunday June 5 2005, 1:22 am: Because there are other sites better suited for getting feedback on creative writing. This is a general advice site, not a creativity forum. That is why we have tried to ask that people not post poetry asking for feedback - it just doesn't fit in with the purpose of this site. [ MFS's advice column | Ask MFS A Question ]
