Teenagers should get about that, but we can't fall asleep until after midnight and then we have to wake up at 5:00 so it's impossible for us to get any sleep, that's why we are always dead in school. -Kids ages 6 to 9 need about 10 hours of sleep a night
-Children ages 10 to 12 need a little over 9 hours of snoozing a night
-Adolescents need about 8 to 9.5 hours of sleep per night.
-Adults need about 7.5 to 8 hours of sleep per night.

To refresh yourself every morning, then sleep at least seven or eight hours. Do not sleep too much though, because they say it's bad for your health for some unknown reason.
