so basically, I have started to like my friends ex, thing is, you know it's her ex. I've recently stopped talking to her because of an argument, and I'm not sure if it will ever be resolved properly anyway. He so lovely. she dumped him, and she didn't even like him to start with, and nothing happened, they didn't even kiss but they hate each others guts, and I'm still mates with some of her friends, so I don't know what to do, could I please have some help.

1. Talk to your friend.
2. Ask her how she feels about it.
3.See what she says.

Definetely do this before saying anything to the boy, because you don't want to make your friend mad and ruin a friendship.

But you see (dont judge) this guy is my adopted cousin and he had this thing for me and as time went on i began to fall for him. And one night we stayed up all night in the dark just talking and cuddling and then he began to hold my hand and then he kissed me. But then he left and came back and left--lives in a different state- and i had a dream saying i was in love with him. And i part of me says yes you are but another part says you cant do that hes your legal cousin thats it...but now i dont know what to do. Like i can deny it all but then i think of the night (which i remember perfectly) and its like i dont care. Thats why i cant talk to him on the phone or meet him face to face..he has like a power over me. Its weird. But i thought i could get rid of my feelings so i told him i didnt want him calling me anymore and we were just friends and what happened shouldnt have. But it didnt work and now i regret it and dont know what to do. My mom says that if i contact him it will make it worse. But he was like in love with ME and i dont want to hurt him...HELP!!

Well, you're not related by blood, which is good. It would not be good to be falling for a blood relative.


I would just tell him that you're feeling things for him that you don't want to feel. It's better to be honest rather than get tangled up in a lie or the art of avoidance, ya know?
Let him know that you wouldn't be comfortable in a relationship with him or anything, and that you just need some time. Tell him what you told me. That when you're with him, he has a sort of 'power' over you, but you want to get rid of these feelings.


This way, you're telling him what he needs to know while (hopefully) not hurting him too much.
It might be hard, I know. I know the feeling of being with somebody and having the feeling that things are just, right. And I know what it's like to want to get rid of those feelings. But if you're uncomfortable being more than friends with your cousin, don't pressure yourself into it.


Trust me, not taking his calls and just telling him to leave you alone as it seems like you're doing is a much worse choice.

okay so i have a 1 gig ipod that i have had for about a year. and i dont know whats wrong with it but everytime i pick an artist to play a song it goes back to the menu it doesnt want to play anything. i have tried everything. i dont have money to get it fixed, has this ever happened to your ipod?. whats wrong? and i already plugged it in the computer restared it and restarted the setting but i dont whats wrong HELP!

This happened to my best friend about a year ago. She had to send her iPod in, and have it fixed. If you have the warranty, then you could send it in and get it fixed for free.


I'm pretty sure that may be the only way to fix this problem =/

I have a male Betta fish- I have had him for almost two months now. Lately I've noticed that his top fin is frayed around the edges, and that he has a split fin/ fin rot, his fins seem to be slowly decaying.

I went to the pet store today and picked up antibiotic drops called, "BettaFix," and was wondering how well it works... For anyone who has ever used these drops, does BettaFix work well? If so, about how long until I start noticing improvement?

In addition to the above, if you know of anything else I can do to help my fish, please let me know.

I'm almost positive I used BettaFix once before when my Betta fish looked hurt or something along those lines.

All I remember, is that he improved and he was alive for a while after I used it.

I really hope it works for you.

Hi, I am a boy who likes a girl he knows. The problem is that I have only started to hang with the group of her friends recently. I'm not sure if she likes me back or if I am getting mixed messages. I am afraid that if I ask her out and she doesn't feel the same way, that she will be creeped out and not talk to me or even be my friend. What should I do?

Well, this is a tough situation =/


I'd talk to your friend who also likes her. Ask him if he'd be alright with you asking her out, or if it would cause too much tension in your relationship with him, etc. I would DEFINETELY talk to your friend before letting this girl know how you feel or doing anything along those lines.

After you've talked to your friend, what to do next depends on his answer:


Worst case scenario:
He says something like, "I would hate you if you asked this girl out and we'd never be friends again because of it!"

- Ok, so maybe he didn't say anything THAT awful, but you get what I'm saying. If your close friend wouldn't be comfortable with you asking this girl out, I wouldn't do it. How close are you with this friend? Are you willing to risk your friendship with him for a girl you both like? Think about these things, and decide which means more to you.


Best case scenario:
He says something like, "You should totally go for it! I'm sure she likes you!"

- Or something like that. If he's alright with you asking this girl out, go for it! Like I always say, life is WAY too short NOT to take chances, and just sit around wondering what could've been, should've been, and would've been.


OR Option Number 3 (maybe we'll call it Plan B?):

- Tell your friend you like this girl, but make a pact with him that neither of you will ask her out. This will not only keep your friendship strong, but neither of you will have to face (possible) rejection or her choosing one of you over the other. This is what I would do personally, but talk to your friend about it, and see what you can BOTH agree on.

I am currently doing a survey for my college and would like to ask this question on advicenators

Would you as a girl,confess to guy about your feelings first? or would you prefer for the guy to do it?

and why would you prefer the guy or yourself to say it first?

this is in context of assuming that you both are great friends,mutual friends or strangers,,you can reply based on any situation.thanks again!

I would prefer a guy to actually acknowledge the feelings first, but girls should hint at it so the guys have a reason to let them know, I guess, if that makes sense?


Why?
Personally, I'm terrified of rejection and being hurt. In general? I think a lot of girls are just shy, and maybe even afraid like myself.

Has anyone got a T-Mobile Contract Phone ?

I would like to know if you do, if you find T-Mobile a good company to use

i wanna buy a phone but T-Mobile only does it for Contract. I'm Currently on O2 and am happy with them but i am willing to change as i love this phone haha!

theres this guy. hes my new friend. he likes me though. and i dont feel that way about him anymore. i liked him for a few days, but not anymore. anyways, he asked me out and i told him no because my best friend likes him. but now he keeps texting me every night and calling me and asking me to hang out. hes nice, but hes SO ANNOYING. my other guy friends stopped being friends with him because he is just so freaking annoying. i cant stand it anymore. i mean i guess i can be like that sometimes when i like a guy, but usually he likes me back and he doesnt mind that we talk so much. (not to sound cocky or anything, and i also like make sure the guy like texts me first sometimes and stuff like that, i like it when the guy makes the first move to talk). but anyways i never text this guy first and he is so annoying. im like flattered when he calls me pretty and tells me how much he likes me. but i already told him it cant work out. i didnt really tell him i didnt like him though. i just told him my friend liked him. i dont want to hurt his feelings. what should i do?

I'm in this exact situation and I know how you feel.

I don't think there's anything we CAN do, really. You've told him your true feelings (which was a good move) and that it wouldn't work.
It's up to him to get the message and let it go.
I don't know why guys keep being so persistant, when all we really want is for them to go away.


If you're unlucky like me and the guy keeps pestering you, I usually say something like, "Thanks, but you're making me uncomortable and I'd really like it if you stopped saying these things." or "I told you that we wouldn't work out, so maybe you should try to find somebody else."


Also, start talking to him less and show him that he's bothering you. HOPEFULLY, he'll get it and leave you alone.
