HAS This ever happened to you?

okay so i have a 1 gig ipod that i have had for about a year. and i dont know whats wrong with it but everytime i pick an artist to play a song it goes back to the menu it doesnt want to play anything. i have tried everything. i dont have money to get it fixed, has this ever happened to your ipod?. whats wrong? and i already plugged it in the computer restared it and restarted the setting but i dont whats wrong HELP!

This happened to my best friend about a year ago. She had to send her iPod in, and have it fixed. If you have the warranty, then you could send it in and get it fixed for free.


I'm pretty sure that may be the only way to fix this problem =/

yeah this has happened to me.

it wouldn't play because it was a corrupted file. like i use limewire & not iTunes for the sake of how expensive iTunes is and i ended up downloading something that wasn't a song, so it simply wouldn't play. but i'd skip over that particular song and the rest would play.

did you download all your songs from limewire? perhaps most of them are corrupted. try redownloading them & trying again.

if you already use iTunes, i'd say just go to the apple STORE and ask them about it to see if there's anything they can do to help you for free.
