I am twenty-one, soon to be twenty-two, and currently work in a loan servicing department. I truly enjoy my job, as well as college, in which I am reaching my last year to receive my degree. I am an outgoing person whom loves to have fun, be with my best friends and family, go shopping and most importantly, helping others.
Helping others has always been my passionate, from a young age I knew that I wanted to help other people and be a great influence in making someone's life turn for the better. Ok so me and two or three of my friends want to go to a water park in LA or PALM SPRINGS, in california.
pretty much anywhere near LA.

I would choose Disneyland, because they have so many great and fun rides there. Busch Gardens is a fun amusement park, too.

Im 16/f and my cousin has cancer. He is 8 years old and has only 10% chance of living. The cancer started in his legs and now is in his back. He has tumors in his legs and one by his heart. His back bones are disinagrating(spelling) and today we found out that the cancer ate his leg bone away and now his leg is broke.
This is so hard for me. But im a cheerleader and was thinking about having a carwash for him, giving his parents all the money, even if its only 100$. Do you think thats a good idea? And does anyone have any ideas to raise money. We are doing a poker run and a golf thing. And almost all the money for those thigns are going to him. Any ideas that I can do? Please help. thank you! This a great idea, and I think you should go through with it. You could also try having a bake sale, and/or organize a concert with some cool bands to raise money.
This story touched me and also is breaking my heart. I hate to hear about these things, they're so sad, especially, because unfortunately, there isn't anything anyone can do as far as curing the illness. But it's great what you're doing, because it can make your cousin's life happier, better and help him out a great deal. You should be very proud of yourself, and my heart goes out to you and your family.

My bff parties sometimes. She is a very good student, so are the people she parties with. Sometimes she has these "parties" at her house with just maybe no more than 15 people, all good friends. She is eighteen.
I am sixteen, and although I've never been to any of her parties, I want to try it. I've never been drunk in my life. If I do go to a party, it will be a very safe environment. I am planning on getting a little drunk, but I am not going to drive (I will sleep over at her house), I will not try drugs (and no drugs will be present, none of her friends do them).
Should I do it? I am a very uptight person, so I think it will be nice for me to just let loose and have fun. I am not planning it to become a habit (partying), but I definitely want to try it.
What do you think? I will be one hundred percent safe there.
How do people act when they're drunk? How many beers does it take to get drunk? I am not planning to get drunk drunk, but just a little bit drunk. (link)

I can understand where you're coming from, I'm pretty much like you, except I don't have any interest to party and get even the tinyest bit drunk. Almost all of my friends drink and party. I like to party, but I don't drink. I've seen what it does to people, my dad died from drinking. And I couldn't bare putting myself, or anyone else through that. So I don't recommend it, unless you just go there and have fun. The drinking is what I'm most, strongly against. Please, consider my opinion.

I know it's hard for us girls to understand sometimes [even me], but guys are like girls. In the way that they want their guy time, just like we want our girl time. You know, like we have girls night out and sleepovers and all of that. Guys do different things of course, but still have fun with just the guys. So I don't think you have anything to worry about, and I would just let him be.

Nail polish remover will work, just apply it as you would be cleaning the lense. It should come right off.

well theres this girl that likes me, but i dont like her. she the cousin of my freind. he doesnt come to the same school as me but the girl does. my freind was thinking that u go out with this girl, but then, SORT of break her heart. like whenever we go out on a date, i bring along my 2 idiot freinds, and stupid things like that. then i break up with her, or make her break up with me. what do you lot think? evil, or just a plain laugh? This is definitely evil, no matter how funny you and your friends think it is. I've been that girl who's been played around with, and it's not fun. As CuxMiBeckNow7 said, once a guy plays around with a girl's heart -- she'll tell every girl she knows. And it's true, now nobody dates the guy that did the same thing you're doing. His repuation totally got ruined after that, so I recommend that you stop doing this to that girl, because you're only hurting her feelings more an more. And in the end, you'll only be hurting yourself.

On monday I was very sick and I went to the doctors i was diagnosed with mono yesterday it came back with my bloodwork and my blood count was super high. Its been 5 days and my throat is now feeling much better than before i can finally swallow and im feeling hungry and i feel like i will finally be able to eat. I was just wondering if anyone has had mono on this site and how to deal with it, because its summer and i dont want to be stuck inside any longer. and for how long will i be contaigous to others? It basically means that you don't hide your feelings/emotions from people, you are more vulnerable when you "wear your heart on your sleeve" because you're laying your feelings out on the table, rather than hiding them.

so im friends with these kids right. and yeah.um.
they have like all these different bonfires and im NEVER invieted and i feel like shit because im not invited and its not like they dont know that im mad. i mean my away messages are always nasty when they have a party or whatever. so yeah i dont know how to like fix this problem and its bugging the hell out of me. okay thanks for the help bye.

Hey, I'm the same age as you and I know exactly what you mean. I haven't actually been that girl who's never been invited, but I've had some so-called friends that did that to other girls, and it just isn't fair. Real friends don't do that to each other, which is why I think you should talk to them. Really, they aren't even worth your time.
However, if you want to talk to them, that's what I'd do. And be sure to ask them why they would invite all of their friends, but you. And it just isn't fair that they do those kind of things to you, and you definitely don't deserve it. If you feel they deserve another chance, go for it. If not, I would go and find better friends. Because you really do deserve much better friends, than these.

When a guy is drunk and you hook up and he act's like he's all touchy when he's drunk and stuff, but not when he's sober, is that just because he's drunk and he's doing weird things or does he like really want you, even when he's sober but doesn't act like it like when it's drunk. Sometimes it depends on age, but either way, it could actually go one way or the other. This could mean that he only wants to hook up with you when he's drunk, because he doesn't want anything serious. Basically, only wanting friends-with-benefits. Or he could be hooking up with you when he's drunk, because he really does like you and is afraid to tell you or show it when he's sober, because he's afraid you only want him for friends-with-benefits.
I think you should talk to him about this, and see what he has to say, if it's really bothering you. Which understandly, it probably is.

my boyfriend of a year and month dumped me today. i talked to one of his friends, and when my boyfriend asked if i did, i said no. when he found out, he got so mad. he was crying and he thinks that i hide everything from him and that he can't trust me anymore. the only reason i lied is because my boyfriend is so protective and doesn't like me talking to boys. i think that i should be able to talk to boys though. what should i do? i want my boyfriend back, but he doesn't think i should talk to boys. i don't know what to do or say to him. I agree with you. You should be able to talk to other guys, as long as you aren't cheating on him, then it shouldn't matter. I'm sure he talks to other girls, and if he does, you should tell him about that too. I think you should talk to him about this, and let him know he really needs to just trust you.
It's his insecurities that are making him act this way, and for your relationship to work -- he's going to have to stop being insecure, and begin being more trusting of you.

i hope this doesnt offend anyone. my family is catholic, but i live in a place where almost everyone is baptist. all my friends go to this one really huge baptist church. and i guess at this church they believe that catholics arent really christians and wont go to heaven. i know people have different beliefs and im fine with that. but sometimes people will say stuff that really hurts me. like once i was showing my friend and her mom my baby pictures and there was a picture of me in my baptism gown. and her mom started telling me how my church is wrong to baptize babies, and how shes so glad her daughter was baptised the "right" way. and then last night i was at a sleepover and there was this girl there that i didnt know. she asked me what church i go to and when i told her, she said "oh. well, catholics arent the strongest christians." there was this big silence and no one said anything for a long time, and i didnt know what to say. i dont blame people for believing what their church and family teaches them, but i dont understand why they have to say mean things that would hurt someone. and i dont know how i should react when people say that kind of thing to me. has anyone been through something like this? and how did you handle it?

First off, I want to say I'm very sorry for how these people are treating you. You have every right to be upset about the things they're saying to you, it's terrible.
I think they need to respect your beliefs, just as you're respecting theirs. Just because they may not agree with your beliefs, does not give them the right to completely disrespect you and your beliefs. I don't think that in itself is very "Christian-like" of them, and not that I'm one to judge, but I don't think it's exactly going to give them a ticket to heaven for saying these things to you.
I think you should tell them that you respect their beliefs, so they should respect your beliefs. If they continue doing this, I would just not respond and do not give a reaction. These people only want to get a rise out of you, so you definitely don't want to give them what they want, after what they're doing to you.
I wish you the best of luck with this, and I think it's great that you still respect others beliefs -- in return, they all should do the same.

Yes, there is an instrumental version. You can buy it anywhere that they sell karaoke CD's, or you can download it on the internet, but you have to remember when downloading on the internet -- most of its illegal (p2p sharing).
