My name is Melissa. I'm a sophomore, and finally SWEET 16. So, I'll be driving on January 7th. I usually go by May or Mel. In the picture is myself and my AMAZING boyfriend Kyle. He's truly my entire world & I'm not sure how I got lucky enough to get someone like him. I don't like girls. They're fake, and I just in general dislike most girls. Little known fact? There are times I hate my best friend, I mean, hate hate. She drives me insane. When I'm close friends with a girl it's a big deal. As far as best friends go; I have Kyle, who's the most amazing boyfriend in the world; Jennifer Anne Reese aka: PIECUP.. she's one of the few girls I'm close to. I'm generally a nice person, if I like you. If I don't, you'll know it.

In college I want to major in psychology; with a minor in wedding planning or some type of organizational planning type thing. I'm a planning freak. I ALWAYS have a plan, and if you don't plan stuff ahead of time, I'll probably kill you. I tend to change my plan spur of the moment a lot, but I always have one. Lol, one of those weird things about me.


I'm not that much of a "laid back" person. In general, I have my opinion, and I'm going to win. Drama = stupid. But just like every other girl on the planet, I definitely start my share of the drama. I don't like it, but it follows me like a puppy, so I'll just admit I start stuff.

I'm sixteen and I've never made out with a guy (or anything above that...and I only kissed once) is that a huge turnoff for a guy? I havent really had any boyfriends, but now I'm interested and I'm wondering will this scare guys off?

It shouldn't scare them off, in fact, it might be good for them. Because then you'll kiss exactly how your boyfriend wants you to. Don't stress, it'll come naturally!

Since YOU broke up with HIM, it's really up to him what happens. You can't make him be friendly or make him care, which sucks, I know. Try talking to him. If he's still being a jerk, then he's not worth it anymore.

I broke up with this guy that i really liked and its been about a week now. Friday I went to the football game and i saw him there. He waved and so did i. But i have another boyfriend now and he saw me with him. He has a girfriend too. Today i called him and he told his mom he didnt want to talk to me. So i had my friend call him and halfway when she was talking he hung up on her. I have been crying my eyes out all day. What can i do??

In the words of Bowling For Soup, this is a BAD BAD situation. I'm 13, a girl, and I hope to think in love with my boyfriend Kenny, but I went and did the most retarded thing ever and cheated on him. We aren't really kissing at all yet in our relationship, and I have a friend who I was crushing on before I started going out with Kenny. I was hanging out with him (him being TJ) and I kinda made out with him for a while. Kenny was out of town when this happened, but when I got to the football game that night (with TJ, my friend and her boyfriend) I lost it and started crying. I felt so horrible about doing what I had done and didn't know what to do. I'm now stuck in a horrible position with just about everyone but him knowing what happened. I really regret making out with TJ, and I need to know if I tell Kenny or not. Everyone's telling me I should, but I am going to lose it when his heart's broken. I really love him, and can't believe I did what I did, but I did. Do I tell, or do I pretend it never happened?

Okay, you said "hope to think you're in love".. if there's ANY doubt, any reason that you have to say "hope to think" instead of "i'm in love" then you aren't. Period. There shouldn't be one doubt. But that's not the point.

You HAVE to tell him. Lying isn't the right thing to do and if you ARE in love then he will probably forgive you in time. But you have to talk to him. Hopefully stuff gets worked out!

my girlfriend and I technically arent going out anymore.. but nothin has really changed, like she is my best friend and i still care about her so much and she says that the only reasons she isnt going out with me anymore is because she has some issues with herself that she needs to deal with. i tell her thats alright and that i can wait for her to do it but she keeps trying to insinuate that i like other girls and that i should go out with them. She seems to want me to move on but im not giving up on her ever.. i really dont know if she just doesnt care about me anymore or whether she really does have some stuff she needs to deal with and just wants me to be free to do what i want? The weird thing is that when we are together we act the same as when we were actually going out.. just we talk more now. which is really good because im finding out some things that i never knew. but i dont want to be in a relationship thats not going anywhere.. and she knows how i feel, so why would she tell me that she cares about me, and that she wants the best for me.. but then push me away like this?

If she's telling you there's something she needs to deal with, then she probably does. But if you guys are still so close, and she DOES care for you [which I would say she does], then don't give up if you still care. Maybe she's scared of her own feelings so she's pushing you away. Just talk to her about it, that's the only way to really be sure. Hopefully everything works out! Good luck!

hey i can cheer really good and i already made my schools cheerleading team but im really bad at my jumps ALL OF THEM can you please give me some things that will help me with all the jumps but mostly the toe touch and ways to help me get a kartwheel please help fast

You need to try to do oversplits a LOT. Handstand against the wall, and flip yourself over so that your stomach is facing the wall. Then drop one leg down by your head. Eventually, all your splits and tumbling should get better. For more tips, IM me at xemmmmmy.

Legally, I'm not really sure. Definitely no sex, and you would have to have parental consent to DATE them, but I can't give you specifics.

As for the age thing, that MIGHT or MIGHT NOT be too large of a gap. That depends on you two, and how mature you are. During this past summer, my boyfriend was a freshman in college [18] and I was fifteen. Because of the kind of people we were, it went fine. It depends on you guys.

Well, this is kind of confusing. My best guy friend (bob) have been friends since third grade. We can tell each other everything and we laugh all the time with each other. I have liked him on and off a lot. When I like him I try to tell myself "it will never work, and if we broke up would we be able to be friends"? I just started a new highschool & met a really nice boy named Matt. I got his AIM screename & we talk online. At my old school I just dated whoever was nice to me, and I would date them after only knowing them for like 2 days. I want to be different in this situation, I want to get to know Matthew a lot before I make a full decision on whether or not I should date him. He seems dateable. He's super nice to me & I like him a lot, I'm just NOT that sure.

I feel really awkward around him, my mouth gets all dry & I just shake, and get all nervous. I'm guessing these are signs I like him of course. But how can I stop them? It's making me mad, I just want to be able to feel totally comfortable around him. =D

Okay, first of all be CALM about it, even if you're nervous. You don't want to scare her. Get her some pads, because that is a LITTLE young to use tampons. Get a pair of underwear and show her how to put the pad on, then just explain things like when to change it, etc. Things that may seem obvious to you, she probably doesn't know. So just take things slow and be there for her. (=

Hey, I use musicnow.com to download music, because my dad wants me to pay, not just download. Anyway, I LOVE the song Golddigger. I have a freaking obssession with it! Problem is, I can't download it, seeing as it's not available on musicnow.com. Ughh, and I also can't buy Kanye West's album since its Parental Advisory and my dad's against that.
