i have 2 questions...
1. what is the law about dating a person over 18 if your a minor? some people say its not illegal till u have sex some say its if you touch in any sexual way even kissing
2. i am 15 and the guy i like is 18 is that soo bad....

ok first off its illegal to date an 18 year old if you're still a minor no matter what and if you do want to do something with him you should think of the consiquences first

ok somethig is only illegal when some one reports it!! if ya dont get caught thena law deosnt really matter! thats a ok age differnce and if your comfortable with it then do what ever you wish.

You have to be the age of 16 *In florida* for it to be legal. Yes, if you touch in a sexual manner, or whatever like that...even kissing and someone has hard feelings for him, like your mom and dad per say...then they can fill an appeal against him for Stachatory rape...and you can't say anything about it because you are underage...

1) it isnt illeagal if you dont have sex, if you do...he will get up to 5 yeaars because you arent old enough to have sex,,, so it would be call rape....he would also get put on the natiol sexual afenders list...which is a big list of people who raped or had sex with someone too young, if they get on the list, they are on for the rest of their life and wont be able to move any where with out telling the people who run the list and soo on...
2) no it isnt bad...my bf and me have the same age difference, only he is almost 17 and i am almose 14 ( we were born in the same month) and though some people think it is bad of you love him that shoudnt matter

okay well..I'm 15 and my boyfriend is 18 as well, so I know what you're going through. I've talked to my mom about this many times before..it is only illegal if you 2 were to have sex, any type of sex that is..oral, or full intercourse, doesn't matter. Kissing is perfectly fine, nothing wrong with that one. Although, in the newspaper awhile back, they said that if a person is 13-15 and their partner is 18-24, if he touches you on your butt or boobs or anywhere of the sort, it's a 1st degree felony. Now, in my opinion, age is just a number, not too much more than a simple number. It bugs me how people are so stereotypical by saying "if he's 18 and you're 15 he just wants sex" b/c that is most definately not always true. But back to the point- to be honest, I don't think higher authorities randomly go around asking the ages of couples if they see butt grabbing going on..I really don't think it's a big deal..but that's up to you to decide for yourself. If you 2 plan on having sex, just be careful on who you tell, if anyone at all..and be safe! I hope I helped, if you need anything else just drop me one in my inbox!

1. well the law is if you and him were to say have sex yes that would be against the law.. if anyone found out.. but thats the only thing that it says.. it is considered sagitory (not sure how to spell it) rape..
2. no it is not bad at all to be 15 and with a guy who is 18.. i knew people who were 21 and 14... and 40 and 19... so yea its not that big..

No its not bad. The law is that when you are 18 it is illegal to have sex with someone 3 years younger than you aka a minor. It is NOT illegal to kiss/makeout/ etc etc. sex is though. Plus if he likes you it could because he wants some and he thinks you'll put out.

still concidered sex .. but kissing i believe
is fine .. but if you do get caught do not tell

No sex. Age of consent is different deprnding on the state you live in. In some places it is 16...so, if you're almost there..:)

Legally, I'm not really sure. Definitely no sex, and you would have to have parental consent to DATE them, but I can't give you specifics.
As for the age thing, that MIGHT or MIGHT NOT be too large of a gap. That depends on you two, and how mature you are. During this past summer, my boyfriend was a freshman in college [18] and I was fifteen. Because of the kind of people we were, it went fine. It depends on you guys.
