First off that's my special man friend with me way back from high school, and been dating now for almost four years now. Yeah he's pretty spectacular, and I love him to pieces, and that's all I have to say about that. I'm a full time college student and working on my gen ed, but I would like to get my bachelor's in gerontology and eventually get my nursing license. i've never had a boyfriend
(so ive never kissed anyone or done anything like that)

i have commitment issues...as in im really scared of a realtionship. i REALLY dont know what to do about it...i mean ill be SO excited because i know that a certain guy likes me, and i get really happy when there talking to me (ive been asked out enough to recognize the "asking out" conversation...) and then they ask me out....and my heart skips a beat and i tell them what i always say: maybe...i have to think about it. and then end up saying no or just letting it fade away without ever giving them an answer

it really kills me because i would do anything for a boyfriend...but apparently i just cant handle the commitment...i like the freedom im flirting with a bunch of guys without worrying about cheating.

i guess subconsciously i sort of believe once im in a relationship thered be NO way out. also, since im a perfectionist, i notice little flaws in the boys that ask me out, which does NOT work for me

i know i probably sound incredibly shallow and probably bipolar but i cant really help it...its just very confusing and i dont know how to get over my fears.

No there's absolutely nothing wrong with you. Your only fourteen years old. You have a long time yet before you have to worry about becoming an old maid. There's nothing wrong with being picky. I don't get why people remark on there so picky. Seesh. You have a right to be as picky as you want. Don't date the first guy that asks you out. In fact, I encourage you to play the field. Flirt with guys until you find one that you really like. In time you will. There is nothing wrong with being called prude. A lot of guys just say that just to get in a girl's pants. There's stds and pregnancy to worry about, so if anything take it as a complement. And no don't worry about guys thinking your a lesbian. At fourteen, guys are really the last thing you should be worried about. Your fine and completely normal. Don't change.

Sooooo I am on birth control. I missed a period but I took a pregnancy test and it said I wasn't pregnant. Now it is time for my next period and I am not having it on time.

Can you skip a period on birth control and not be pregnant or should I start picking out names? :)

There is a chance you could be pregnant If you miss any dosage of birth control and no back up protection, you could be pregnant. However sometimes it could just mess with your hormones if you miss one. My suggestion is to take another pregnancy test. Sometimes they can come out wrong.

I have this thing coming up and I don't wanna have to stand up in front of people. i wanna lose my voice so how do I do this without like hurting myself forever or breaking something?

I think you should be more focused on trying to help your anxiety issues, so I'll give you advice on that. Think about how many other people have to stand in front of tons of people all the time. It's really no big deal. Practice a lot so your confident with whatever you have to do. Your probably most afraid you'll mess up so if your confident, you'll most likely be fine. Practice in front of a small group of people; like your family and friends to get used to the idea of people watching you at all. Believe me it helps. I took a public speaking class and every time I got up there to speak I got nervous. Strange, but I actually love the feeling of being nervous. I love how my heart starts racing and the butterflies I get in my stomach right before I had to recite a speech. Eventually I was no longer nervous because I had done it so many times. You'll be fine.

so me and this guy have been "talking" for about two months now but we cant date because of his work he is extremely busy for the fall because he works from 8 in the morning until 11 at night so there is no time for us to hang out. before his work got so busy though we would hang out like every day until like 2 in the morning and it was amazing he would call me dear and babe and just be so cute with me i love being around him. but im not sure what he is thinking i mean is it really that big of a deal to date now if in a month he wont be busy anymore? i mean im beginning to wonder if waiting around for him is a waste of my time. i just like him so much ive fallen really hard for him and i really want to be with him im just not sure if waiting is the best idea any ideas?

No there's nothing wrong with waiting for him. In that time period just do things you'd do normally. Hang out with friends, read a book, whatever. A month will go by really fast. If you really like him a lot, it shouldn't bother you that much. Just keep in mind that you can trust him. What else does he have to do? When he gets home he'll be exhausted anyway. You'll be fine either way. Hope things work out.

Why is obama considered a socialist by the majority of people? I'm not trying to down him, I'm just asking because I'm trying to understand politics better, without forming a biased opinions. I don't wanna hear "he's not a socialist"... I just wanna hear why people may believe he is one. If that makes sense. i wanna understand socialism better... and his supposed connection to it.

Because people are idiots. He is not a socialist, actually the furthest thing from it. That is not my opinion, it is a fact. People are racists and will say whatever they can to get others full of hatred as well. I guess it's because of his attempt to have a public option. He doesn't like seeing 47 million people without health insurance either because it's not affordable or due to preexisting conditions. We are the only country without national health care, and he wasn't even going for that. He just wanted a public option in which people still have to pay for it regardless. However the dumb "tea party" people think that no one deserves that. What really gets me is old people get medicaid, and social security yet no one else is allowed to have any of the same benefits as they receive. They are very selfish. When you hear people say that his plan would support abortion, or that he'd cut old people off medicaid, those are lies. Heck one of the republicans doesn't even have the respect to let him speak.

Ha! Your a very, very lucky girl. However you'll get it soon enough and you'll notice it. Just start carrying a pad with you now for when it does happen. 13 is the cut off most people get theres.

I'm trying to erase my memory card even though there isn't anything on it. Like i'm trying to reset it because when i try to save pictures on it it says that the memory card is full, but when I hook it up to the computer nothing pops up in the memory card except for two folders. Thanks!

If you are on Windows just bring up my computer and then plug the memory card in. Find out what the drive letter is then right click on it. On that list click on format. On that windows then hit yes or ok. It should give you a warning that it will erase the card completely.

So im going to sound very naiive, but im 20/f and hes 24/m. He is my boyfriend of over a year and i lost my virginity to him a couple of months ago.
