Well, it seems that if you have had sex for 10 years, you would have already broken your hymen. I suppose anything is possible, however, I recommend keeping an eye on it and if you find yourself bleeding again, you may want to see a doctor just to be sure everything is alright.

Well my friend, this is what I tell everyone who asks me a questions about "getting a guy to like you..." You cannot "get" or "make" a guy like you, he either does or does not. However, by being yourself and being friendly and sweet, that will show off who you are as a person and he will either take to you as a friend or as more than a friend.
My advice is for you to talk to him at least once daily at school, even if it's just a "Hey, how are you?" type of conversation. Any communication is great progress and you need to become familiar with talking to him, if you have not already. Take good care of yourself, wear clothes that fit you well but are not tight and clothing that is appropriate because he will respect you for that. Speak to him nicely, as always, and just be yourself and show off your personality -- that will be how you will find out if he just wants to be your friend (which is great in itself) or if he'd like to be something more (which is great also!).
Just play it by ear girl and things will work out. Even if he doesn't like you as more than a friend, you are sure to have a good friend in general. :) Best of luck!

I know it isn't fun friend, but a doctor is very helpful and he/she can stop that pain! As long as you go to the doctor soon, it is probably very minor and absolutely nothing to worry about and easily fixable -- so I urge you to go to the doctor and I'm sure he/she will tell you it is nothing serious at all and give you some medicine and that's probably it.
Most doctor's are very nice and caring, so please do not fear them. :)

You need to figure out if it is worth leaving your boyfriend to be with his best friend, as that may result in some problems. However, I advise you to figure out whether or not your best friend's boyfriend feels the same as you do, and if so, you should break up with your boyfriend. Best of luck, my friend, if you're really in love with his best friend -- you should be honest with him about it, if you think there is any chance with his best friend.

k so i was a basketball manager last winter and i always see the guys with these tight undershirts on under their basketball uniform. theis undershirt is extremely tight and makes their muscles look bigger. the ones taht they wore were sleevless. are these spandex shirts or wife beaters? thanks (link)

Previous columnist is correct, it is their under armor. However, I have another addition to what they could be -- Spanx, haha. They have now started selling Spanx for men in t-shirt form, so they may be using those as well, haha.

Honey, don't even think of stuffing your bra or getting implants -- embrace who you are, including your body. :) You must think about something here, these guys may be after the girls with big boobs, but what does that say about them? What are they looking for? Think about it. They aren't even worth your time, which is precious, and they are looking for more than just liking a girl and that's not good.
Be weary of those guys and stay away from them as far as dating, they only want one thing and consider yourself lucky they aren't coming around you -- they are just jerks. Plus, if a guy likes you for who you are, which he always should, he will never care about your boob size -- trust me on this one, as I am older and have went through a little bit of the same thing.
You are very young and have so much time to grow, so don't be discourage about that in general. When I was your age, I had absolutely nothing, you could have considered me a boy in that means -- but now, about five years later, I have grown so much and am a 34 C, so believe me, you still have plenty of time to grow. But regardless, embrace your beauty and if he's a good guy, he'll like you for who you are and love your boobs (but wait until you're older for those things, I am just saying this for the sake of my point); small or large. :)

My dear friend, even though I am late on this one, never send any type of naked pictures of yourself. Never under any circumstances. This will not make a guy like you for who you are, just what he thinks he can get. Listen, this guy is scum, a dirtbag, if he was a good guy and liked you for you -- he would never have asked for such a thing and he wouldn't be out sleeping with all kinds of girls, and I bet that those rumors are true just from him asking you for pictures.
Please in the future know that you do not have to send pictures of yourself like that in order to get a guy to like you or respect you, unfortunately, he won't do either because he'll only like you for what he can get and he won't respect you. This guy is bad news, I hope that he does not show anyone, however, I'm not sure what you can do at this point because you have already sent it.
I wish you the absolute best of luck friend, I hate to hear that you are going through this. Just remember, if you ever want to impress a guy -- do it by being who you are, showing your personality, being kind, etc. You should never have to take naked photos in order to impress someone, if so, then they are scum, like this guy.
You are worth so much more, so please, I urge you to never do this again and sincerely hope that you do not have any problems coming from this situation. Best of luck, friend. :)

Okay so im on the end of my period, (the fifth day) and its like basically over. But everytime i put a tampon in (just in case) it hurts sooo bad. It hurts on the way in, and then when its inside of me its sore.

There could be a couple of things that may help you. As the previous columnist stated, you can try small tampons for comfortable, as well as some tampon are downright uncomfortable in themselves, especially the plastic ones. So try getting Tampax Pearl, they are the most comfortable I've found. If you still find yourself hurting, you may want to see a doctor, just to check everything out. I don't think you have any major problems though friend, just discomfort.
Also, another solution altogether is to use pads -- I find them more comfortable than tampons, myself. Good luck.

Of course not, you should never be ashamed for not doing anything physical -- especially at sixteen! Listen, I know that it seems like everyone else is doing things and you may wonder why you aren't, but let me tell you, things are not as they seem. Many people exaggerate, many people get messed up because of rushing physical things -- you are very lucky my friend. Wait until it means something, when it will make you happy to kiss someone you really like, not just to do it to get it over with or because of everyone else. Understand what I mean? I hope so, friend. :)
Plus, it makes you so much more special and wanted when you haven't done any of those things -- trust me on this one. I'm a good girl, I've only kissed a guy before and it has made guys want me more than ever. I've had many offers but I'm saving myself for someone that I really love and when I know it will mean something to the both of us, and I always recommend that to everyone who needs some advice. :)

This really isn't about getting advice. It's just some things i've wondered about girls.
1) Why do girls always go to the bathroom in groups? What do you guys do in there besides pee?
2)why are girls embarrassed to be seen in their bra and panties but not in a bikini.

1. Girls go to the bathroom is groups so they can discuss things (both good and bad), help each other with makeup, or if they have some type of problem or emergency.
2. Girl are embarassed to be seen in their undergarments because they are just that - undergarments. Bras and panties are such intimate items for girls, we keep those to ourselves until the time is right and we want guys to see us in them. It's much different than a bathing suit because it is for swimming, and though it's the same type of item, they have very different purposes and meanings to us.
3. Well, there really is no general girl answer to this one because it would depend if the girl was looking. So that would be different for every guy, can't help you on this one.

If he's flirting with every girl, then you should walk away...or run. Listen, I know you like the guy, but sometimes we like guys who aren't good for us and guys who would rather like every girl instead of just one. If he's talking about another girl, that doesn't necessarily mean he doesn't like you, but it does mean that he is interested in another person at the same time and he's flirting with all the girls -- the word "cheater" is coming to mind.
Let this guy go, as for anything more than a friend, he is bad news.

She may just have a crush on you also, so show some interest in her (talk to her daily, even if it is just a "Hi, how are you?" it is progress, etc.) and see if she gives you any signals that she feels the same. If so, tell her how you feel and see how things go -- they may work out! :)

It is not true, my friend. The bible says that the world, yes, will come to an end, however, no one will know the date. So people claiming it's going to end are full of it because no one will ever know when it's actually going to end -- so please, do not be scared. Also, if you know where you're going, you have nothing to fear either. :)
