i went out with guy like 2 months ago who i really really liked but then he dumped me and i found out that he had been 2 timing me but he just said he didnt and even if he did it wasnt like we were married or anything but iw as really hurt. then we became rfiends and he said he wanted to be really good friends but whenever i see him he just ignores me but i still really like him and i think he sought of still likes me but is trying not to show it. I would love it someone gave me some advice as this is really very important to me!

First off, it really doesn't matter what he feels for you. I don't mean to be harsh but I doubt he likes you. If he does, like I said, it doesn't matter. Evewn if he were in love with you... HE'S AN ASSHOLE! You can do better. ...Or can't you? I mean, you DO think he likes you and you like him. People who can do better tend to have other options. Not becasue the are sluts ut because... l.o.l. Don't crack? Go see the doctor first. there must be a reason for your back pains. Then avoid what causes your pains, for example, if carrying heavy things causes them then rest for a while. It may be a good idea to get a back massage.

Excerixise is the best thing you can do. DON'T DIET! I swear, you'll only gaing weight. What you CAN do that's like dieting but it's not... not really... is drink water instead of soda or vodka (l.o.l.) Why? In order to lose weight you have to loose more proteins/carbs that you took in tha day. Meaning: if you eat a 500 calorie burger you have to loose MORE than 500 calories by excerising (this is just an example).
Sport drinks will help too since they give you energy for excerice. The thing is that they have calories in them. I suggest you start with water first, then after some time, when you do more excercise drink sport drinks. OH! Don't forget to take excercise slow... you don't want to break something.

Sorry it's long, but please try to help.
This might be confusing, so if it is, sorry. But this girl I've known since 6th grade,(I'm now a freshman, grade 9) Brittany, and have had classes with since 7th, and became friends with this year, well her mom had a tumor in her eye. And Brittany's mom had it removed about a week ago. And she had to have her head shaved because they were doing surgery going through her head. Well, lately Brittany has been getting upset a lot in class, and I want to try to cheer her up, and make her happy, but her mom might be dying because the surgery didn't go to well, she's recovering, but not the best way possible, so I have a few questions.
1.) What can I say to her to comfort her, she knows I give advice, and a lot of times she asks me, but when it comes to a personal friend, it's hard
2.) This really weird teacher that none of us like who is a lesbian (not saying that's bad, but... it's weird w/ what she's been doing) Well, she, w/o Britt's permission, told the whole class about Britt's mom, and Britt ran out crying, and we didn't know how to comfort her. And then that teacher gave Britt her cell phone number, and was like call me, and don't leave a message, keep calling until you reach me, so I was wondering, is that okay for a teacher to do that? None of us like her, and Britt said she asked 2 teachers about it, and they said it wasn't normal, but Britt does tend to over exaggerate, or lie about things (she's really popular, and does whatever she can to boost the popularity, I didn't like her until this year b/c I always thought she had a perfect life and was concieted, b/c she's really rich and stuff, but now that I've gotten to know her, I've realized why she acts that way.)
3.) We're only 14, and freshman in high school. I don't associate with her that much outside of school, unless it's at a game, or if we see each other at the mall, like I don't invite her to the mall with me and my friends, but if we see each other, we talk, and/or walk around w/ each other. So please, help me try to comfort her, and is it right for that teacher to be doing what she's doing? What can I do to help, or what can I say. Also are there any gifts I could give her for x-mas that might make her feel better, or might make her laugh, or smile? I'm not trying to be weird, or act gay, but it's been so long since I've seen her smile, and it's been so long since I've heard her laugh. She's cut her wrists in the past, and I don't want her to use self-harm again, and I'm afraid about with what's going on with her mom, she might go farther than just cutting her wrists.
Oh, and about the whole teacher thing, we don't know how that teacher found out, Brittany didn't say anything to her, we figure she must've overheard Britt telling one of us. Please, any help would be appreciated! And if you're one of those people that like to leave sarcastic, or rude advice, I could do with a good laugh, so make it funny. The situation is far too delicate... Advice is hard for something that delicate, actually. If she asks for advice tell her to keep her faith. That's all that life really is... that's all that keeps the images and sirits of people alive... Tell her to expres her feelings the way they are... if she's sad, offer her your shoulder to cry on, if she's mad, offer to listen without judging, and if she's confused hug her and remind her the people that care about her will be there for her. Know when she needs space and when she needs to talk. Don't ressure her, just give her time. Everyone finds that figuring this out is one of the most difficult things in life.
About the teacher... what she did was extremely wrong. Maybe she got a call or something that informed her of the situation... but neverless the situation-being so delicate-should be kept private. This must be immidietly broughten up to the principle. THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR WHAT SHE DID. Not even ignorance. She failed to respect her student's privacy. About giving Brittany her phone number... that's rather innappropriate, in my opinion. It's not her place to give councling (she obviously doesn't understand feelings). She can offer help but what she did was too... forward, I guess. What she should had done was APOLOGYZE to Brittany. I have anger in me so I'm sorry, I'm going to take my own advice and express my feelings how they are. THAT TEACHER IS A BITCH!
Inviting her over to do something with you and your friends might be a good idea... as long as you all act normal around her. It would even help, too. Although she probably wants to spend most of her time with her mom, so don't feel rejected if she says she doesn't want to hang out. Ask her again some other time. Or tell ehr the invitation is open for whenever she has time. Christmas presents... well whatever you get her give her a funny card to go with it. I love funny cards! Maybe the 10 Reasons You Are Special... 1 - You Don't Have Coties type of thing. A trip or vacation for her and her mom would be great but I'm sure you don't have that type of money... *hint hint* ... losts of organizations give you trips and stuff if you... ask nicely... the Make A Wish type of thing.

There is this guy that i like alot! It's eassy for me to say this because I'm the person with no emotional feelings attatched to neither your friend nor he boy you like. Another thing... if you feel pure RAGE, JEOLOUSY, AND ENVY it's O-K-A-Y. Even if it's murderous (l.o.l.) Feelings are never wrong or right. They're something very real that whe can't help and we're faultless from. She shouldn't try to make you feel guilty. I honestly don't care how great this girl is, even if she saved your life, she's obviouisly a bad friend and a worst person. My best friend goes out with this boy, She loves so much that no matter what he does she wont leave him. He could cheat on her, beat her, ANYTHiNG !! She wont leave him, But now shes confused, hes acting to diffrent he acts like shes the greatest thing in the world WHEN THERE ALONE ! But when hes with his friends, its diffent. The only advice I could give you is (drumroll... crickets chirpping...) : Give her advice. I know you've done thise so many times... since it IS her life it's the best you can do. Don't tell her this guy LOVES her or DOESN'T love her. Use the term "cares about". But let her know that he's obviously have some kind of issues expressing his ... feelings of care to her in front of his friends. Tell her that it's her decisions but you personally feel-this is because you care about her-that she could do better. If she wants to stay with him tell him she should talk about it with him. Remind her that she deserves respect and there are guys out there who can actually respect her. The most important thing to tell her is that no matter what she decdes or how the situation ends you'll be there for her, because you care about her.

Ok. My recent exboyfriend & I both work at the same place. That is how we met but now still have to work together despite us breaking up. It has only been about 2 weeks since we broke up and he's been telling everyone at work that it was mostly him who wanted to break up. I know this is kind of dumb but this bothers me because I was the one who had to bring it up(us breaking up). He never said anything to me about wanting to break up. And so he knows that it was mutual yet he's telling everyone that it was mostly him. He's the type of person to be boastful about things so this is just another added bonus. Should I confront him about it and how this bothers me and risk our friendship or just let it go and let him have his fame & glory? (link)

Blank CDs are much of a "whole" gift... but she could throw that in too. If she's going to hrow in nice little presents a cool belt is a good idea. Mabybe an actual CD. She could take you to Borders to shop (it's cool, they sell a lot of books, CDs, movies, and a few other stuff). ...A digital camera is a good idea so your list is OK as it is. ...Maybe even a pet?

You are taking notice of it, though? Like marking it on your calendar? Don't worry if it's not on schedule... since you just got your period it'll take a while to have a schedule (a while can mean years...) But it is important for you to keep the schedule if you want to know your schedule.
You don't wear pads? Do you wear tampoons? No backpacks? Sweetie... is your question serious? I'm sorry it's just... it's so weird. You can carry a tampoon around all day in your hand for like everyday... people will get used to it. OR get a purse. OR have people laugh at you. Your choice, sweetie. ...Sorry if that sounded harsh.
Check yourself on the restroom when you think it's been a while since your last period. Then go to the nurse's office and get a tampoon if you ARE on your period.

Colors? Black! All dark almost-black colors are good. But especially black. No nean-colors because those will make her look chuncky. No horizantel stripes (meaning sideways). ...No stripes period. Oh! And if she wears a necklace or even a chocker on her neck or a scarf it'll make her look thinner.
Maybe you can actually help her lose weigh. She can eat whatever she wants... just excercise (diets are bad...they end up helping you gain weight). Maybe you can take the stairs rather than the elevator... take walks on the park... go to the gum together. The activity itself should make her happier.

my best friends mom is realy rude. Liek we were supposed to meet up w.her @ the mall bc we were shopping and she was @ the movies. She called and left a message on my phone since my friends was dead to say she'd call us @ a quarter to six because the movie started @ 4..by the time we got the message it was past 4 so we didn't call bak. @ 6 we were heading to the front of the mall to get picked up and she called and was being really rude to me and was like "I want you guys at the front of the mall NOW" and stuff and made up something about my friend was supposed to call her @ 5 oclock..but the message said 6!! i erased it too..so we didn't have proof..and like she constantly argues w.my firned and her sister when i'm in the car or @ their house and shes nice sometimes but other times shes just so rude and i don't feel welcome and we were watching a movie that i brought over and her mom started it and wouldn't rewind it so we didn't get to see the begingin! and it was MY MOVIE! i wanted ot leave her house..but anyways my question is..i wanna go places w.my friend and go to her house and have her come over mine..but i don't wanna ride in the car w.her mom or go over her house..so what can i do! my parents won't drive both ways and i can't ALWAYS have her coming over my house and making excuses not to go over hers..

Here's the deal, there's nothing you can do to get her mom out of the picture (...you could murder her but if your friend ever found out... yeah, it wouldn't go so well so I wouldn't recommend that). What you CAN do is try to win your friend's mom over. Maybe buy her cookies or ... I don't know... something nice. When she's rude to you be polite. "Kill her with kindness" I guess. She'll start liking you and she'll be in a good mood when you're with her daughter and she won't say you trouble her daughter. She'll welcome you.

Obviously this has you uncalm and nervous and stuff. If I were you I'd tell him. I'm actually in a similar situation (except this guy is just a classmate... he is older than me thought... he's a senior... 18). Maybe he won't like you back and you won't end up together... kind of like it is now. You're both single. Then again maybe he will like you... and something will happen. Either way it'll make you feel better if you tell him. If he doesn't like you back it'll help you to move on. If he likes you back you may date or something. And in the future with future crushes you'll be more confident and be able to handle things eassier. AND you won't have regrets and will feel great about yourself.

My period is more... less frecuent than avarage I gguess so fortunately I don't have to worry every three weeks (l.o.l.) ...Well lunch is a good time.Or nutrition. Don't you have a backack or something? Or when you have your period go to school wearing one and get one from the nurses' office. OR take your purse to the restroom. Maybe you're being paranoid... girls go to the restroom with their purses to apply on their make up.
It's eassy if you go STRAIGHT to the restroom right when the bell rings for nutrition or lunch. I don't think you should stuff yor tampoon in your lunch box... if you ever drop it or something... it'll be sooo freaken emebrrasing.
Wait! You wear tampoons istead of pads? Well you can use the new ones that are in a little wrapper and really eassy to hide.
I'm sorry I can't help. I don't find it difficult to hide my pads... but I don't really let my frieds go through my purse. Maybe if you didn't let them go through your purse in your time of the month... I really have n mre help to offer.

God that sucks! I see the problem. She may have gotten confused or mixed up somewhere in her life so you are going to have to be straight forward. Maybe it would help if you DIDN'T use the words "slut" or "bitch" (...I threw that in because that's how she's acting... but don't say that thought). Let her know what she's doing. For example after she stops talking to some guy and you and her are hanging tou alone say something like, "Jill... don't you think you're with too many guys?" or something. Then bring up you and your friends' stolen curhses. "That wasn't cool Jill. I liked that guy. Friends don't steal friends' crushes." Once you're in the subject tell her how she's changed and how uncool it is. Ask her if anything is wrong and make sure she realized you'reinterested in her well-being and you'll always be there for her. And that she realizes how destructive her behavior is and how it affects hersef as well (for example her ruined reputation and social life).
