Confusion with health

Im a 14 year old girl and feel a little selfconcious about my looks. What are some safe ways for me to loose weight?

i also feel uncomfortable of my parents and friends knowing. for the past week, ive started by waking up early every morning and going downstairs. i do stretches and 50 jumping jacks, 60 crunches, and 20 sit ups. i try loosing weight a lot, but also drift away from it, thinking it too hard. i need to find a way to get motivated too..

heyy! i felt the same way i thot if i started dieting and exercising a lot my parents woodl think i was anorexic! they kinda jump to conclusions like that lol well start off slow i just made my protions smaller and exercsied more! in about a week u'll notice changes! but u have to stay motivated thats the hardest part! *Buena suerte!

Hi Sweetie,
Excerixise is the best thing you can do. DON'T DIET! I swear, you'll only gaing weight. What you CAN do that's like dieting but it's not... not really... is drink water instead of soda or vodka (l.o.l.) Why? In order to lose weight you have to loose more proteins/carbs that you took in tha day. Meaning: if you eat a 500 calorie burger you have to loose MORE than 500 calories by excerising (this is just an example).
Sport drinks will help too since they give you energy for excerice. The thing is that they have calories in them. I suggest you start with water first, then after some time, when you do more excercise drink sport drinks. OH! Don't forget to take excercise slow... you don't want to break something.

Eat very healthy and exercise for like 10-20 minutes a day. Also I have heard that reading burns calories...just a thought.

What helps me a lot to keep on track is not thinking about loosing weight or dieting. Dont deprive yourself of somthing you really want, because next time you see it you will eat a lot more of it. Also a good motivation for me is thinking about a nice pair of clothes or a party that is comming up that you really want to look good at so when your running think about how many guys will think ur hott after loosing a couple of unwanted pounds. well if you play sports then you loose weight like crazy becuas eu odnt relise you are working ure body out becuase ure so into the game, other then that sit ups always work but u have to have like music going or something or t.v so u;ll keep doing them and not get to like 20 and then b done becuase ure bored of them!.. The best way id sey is to play something becuase its the best workout, or maybe go running with some freinds or sumthing and then u can talk and stuff and ure also loosing weight while ure doing it! No Starving Yourself Look up some help ful diets off the internet and right them down..go by the diets everyday and weigh yourself everyday and see how much u lose..if that don't work then just go to my adivce column and send me another 1..i really hope i helped..
