Making a website?

Ok I need a good place to make a website for a project for one of my classes... I need to be able to upload pictures and put in columns and such! I also need to be able to write good sized paragraphs because the project is suppose to have a couple of essays in it. Any one know of some free websites that I can make one from ?

You can try geocities.com or freewebs.com. Their both free and you can upload and write big paragraphs.
