I like this guy lets call him "Phil"(random name). I have a crush on him, he's at my new school. He plays guitar, is short, but cute, he luvs the same music i do(fob, mcr, p!atd, and to top it all off my locker is right next to his and we sit next to eachother for every class because of the seating chart. So today he sits next to me and my friend Tori for lunch. He says I remind him of his ex girlfriend. Now, from what I know from talking to him, he only has had one girlfriend and she and him were together 3 weeks ago, but he asked her to go to homecomeing with him, she said no and she brokeup with him. He was evidently head-over-heels for her.

i am 7 months pregnant. i honestly do not like my boyfriends mother that much . she is 37 years old and i am 20. she is a very very pushy woman and always needs things to go her way and has no problem whatsoever putting her 2 cents in any given situation, even what to name our son. to make things short, i want my mom to be in the hospital room when i give birth, however, do not want my boyfriends mom in there because she makes me uncomfortable and i do not care for her much. i understand and respect the fact that my boyfriend loves and adores his mother and would never do anything to try and change that, however, we have not always seen eye to eye(his mother and i) ..my question is : i need my mom to be in the room when i give birth, but is it wrong of me to request that my boyfriends mother stay out? ..it would really hurt my boyfriend, since he wants his mother there, however, would really bother and hurt me if she were in there because i feel she would ruin my experience of bringing my baby into the world. Also, my mother feels that since i am her daughter, she should be in the room and she does not like my boyfriends mother as well. i feel as if she will be offended and hurt (my mom) if i invite my boyfriends mother in the room as well because she feels like she is fighting for the fact that i am her daughter and she is my mom, not his mom.

There's nothing wrong with not wanting your boyfriend's mother in the room. Just lay down the law and say no.

Then, after she intimidates you and claims that your like a daughter to her blah blah blah, still say no.

ok so ever since like 5th grade i was SOO excited to go to higschool and well now that im in it, its like NOTHING like i expected it to be and well i hate it. I guess you could say i'm kind of like a floater...i dont really fit into a crowd really and well it sucks, and i'm almost failing all my classes because all the homework and classwork is so overwhelming and i'm not used to it. But will it get better? Because i dont want to be floating around highschool all four years. And how was your first year of highschool?

I had no idea what to put this under. I am terribly curious about "Hannah Montana". I had never watched this Disney Channel show, but I have seen the jumping popularity of Hannah Montana on even NBC news. I watched it on ABC Saturday morning cartoons recently, and saw absolutely nothing great about it. I thought that it was actually incredibly horrible acting, and the concept to be terrible. I am disappointed to see that Disney's legacy has disappeared behind this... crap. My younger sister's friend was playing the soundtrack, and I found the singing rather nauseating. Can someone tell me how on Earth this awful, unholy phenomenon has occured?

I am a person that really likes to know "why". When I say and/or say, ask or do some things, other people will find them stupid or dumb. Like today a friend of mine was wearing old sneakers (it was obvious, they were discolored and worn) and I remarked that they looked like they smelled (simply JKing). Another of my friends, who was sitting next to me, stated that that made no sense and things cannot look like they would smell. I was rather surprised at this comment, because that made total sense to me. It may seem petty and umimportant, but this kind of thing happens all the time. My actions and words make complete sense to me, why don't they to others?

Okay, I myself being a columnist hate it when there is more than one question to be answered clumped into one question. So, anywhos, I'm asking it as a separate question.

I'm 15/f(Sophomore). Bob and Betty are 16/f (Juniors) I met Bob through Betty and Betty and I are really good friends. Betty doesn't have feelings for Bob. Bob used to or still does have feelings for Betty. Bob just now, though, said he likes me as in like me, like me. And I told my friend to tell him that I was neutral (or at least I hope it sounded like I was neutral. Or at least it didn't sound like I didn't like him)

I'm pretty sure that I like him. It's just that I'm really worried about hurting him or damaging our friendship. I'm basically an emotional wreck with a 100lbs of mess and trouble hooked to the back of me. I really do want to go out with Bob, which is hard to do seeing that my mom doesn't like Bob and that he goes to another high school. But our school has a lot of events Bob can come to...Anywhos! Back to the point. Should I take a chance with Bob or just I don't know. Tell me what I should do. I really don't want to hurt him or the friendship but I know that in the end, nothing good ever lasts. And I don't know. I like him. But my fear of hurting him/friendship prevents me from letting me get in a relationship with him.
