Disney Affair
I had no idea what to put this under. I am terribly curious about "Hannah Montana". I had never watched this Disney Channel show, but I have seen the jumping popularity of Hannah Montana on even NBC news. I watched it on ABC Saturday morning cartoons recently, and saw absolutely nothing great about it. I thought that it was actually incredibly horrible acting, and the concept to be terrible. I am disappointed to see that Disney's legacy has disappeared behind this... crap. My younger sister's friend was playing the soundtrack, and I found the singing rather nauseating. Can someone tell me how on Earth this awful, unholy phenomenon has occured?

Honestly, the only reason(s) she's famous is because a. she's on the Disney channel and b. her dad is the one and only Billy Ray Cyrus. She's mainly famous because of her Dad and her show is aimed to little girls, so the acting doesn't have to be amazing. Most little girls believe everything they watch on TV, so there is no need to be a superstar.

The reason shes popular is souly because disney is backing he up. she cant sing well and there are thousands who sing better than her, her acting is so bad its obnoxious because shes SOOO dramatic and over the top to annoyance, but girls are going to love her because disney says shes cool and the thing so they believe them. it goes to show how much influence tv and shows have on our society and children. I have younger sisters and i know shes this BIG thing but your right, i have no idea why besides because disney says shes great. the only thing is her songs have good messages, ones you normally dont hear anymore (if you ever did hear them lol) and its nice for girls to be listening to that rather than swear words and profanity things. it kinda empowers girls and has a nice message so parents approve and the girls think its so cool so whatever. i still dont like her singing but whatever. hoep i helped and please rate me if so!!! :D

Absolutely. I've never watched a show on Disney in my life. When I hear of of these *16+ year olds* watching it, it just makes me sick. Ever time I see a question about Hannah Montana, I think "that's one person who will do no good in the world." You should be proud of standing apart from our generation's stupidity.

basically all my friends watch it out of boredom, and one of them actually likes the songs... which i dont understand.
however id never go out of my way to watch it, but its on a lot.
also the fact that its new makes it more appealing. like when high school musical 1 came out it was a big deal even that too was another weak disney producion

well. Yeah the acting is actually really bad, but sometimes it has its funny points. Yes i'm a fan of hannah montana i can probably explain why people like it so much. Hannah Montana has its ups and downs. Some episodes are funny and some make me cringe with embarrasement that i'm actually wantching this. The songs, well.. some of them are good. The ones on her newest album are pretty good. I think people like them so much becuase they really get you pumped up and exciited. I do like hannah montana but its okay if you don't. I just think you should try to watch another episode then make your decision. And try to listen to all of her songs. Its perfectly fine if you don't like her though, somtimes i wonder why people like things so much too.
