my friend, ill be like mad at her over something. and like ill act cold. and then she just doesnt even care. its like ,it doesnt matter if i get mad or not. she just acts like its no big deal. uhh i hate her so much right now.

I don't think you explained yourself well enough. I'm guessing what you technically mean is that you'll be upset with her, and then she doesn't even care. So, you're feelings get hurt.

If I had a friend that acted like that towards me, do you honestly think I'd go on some trollhunt just to figure out why she was being that way? No.
I'd ask & if I got no response, then I'd just ignore her. No sense in trying if you're going to get no response.
So like Matt said; if you're acting like a bitch, then expect to get treated like one too.

Acting 'cold' is NOT a good way to let someone know you are upset.
When someone acts cold to me, I ignore them. If they can't talk to me respectfully about the thier anger, then thier anger is not my problem.
If you are upset with someone, it's up to YOU to make that clear. You can't just give them the silent treatment and expect them to chase you and apologize.
They have to KNOW that you are upset before they are going to do anything about it. They need to understand WHY. People aren't physic. She might just think you are a moody person and never conect your behavoir with her actions.
Tell your friend you are mad, and tell her why. Only then will you know if she truly doesn't care, or if she just has no idea you are upset, or if she simply is too mature to respond to your 'silent treatment'.
