My name is Melissa. I'm a sophomore, and finally SWEET 16. So, I'll be driving on January 7th. I usually go by May or Mel. In the picture is myself and my AMAZING boyfriend Kyle. He's truly my entire world & I'm not sure how I got lucky enough to get someone like him. I don't like girls. They're fake, and I just in general dislike most girls. Little known fact? There are times I hate my best friend, I mean, hate hate. She drives me insane. When I'm close friends with a girl it's a big deal. As far as best friends go; I have Kyle, who's the most amazing boyfriend in the world; Jennifer Anne Reese aka: PIECUP.. she's one of the few girls I'm close to. I'm generally a nice person, if I like you. If I don't, you'll know it.

In college I want to major in psychology; with a minor in wedding planning or some type of organizational planning type thing. I'm a planning freak. I ALWAYS have a plan, and if you don't plan stuff ahead of time, I'll probably kill you. I tend to change my plan spur of the moment a lot, but I always have one. Lol, one of those weird things about me.


I'm not that much of a "laid back" person. In general, I have my opinion, and I'm going to win. Drama = stupid. But just like every other girl on the planet, I definitely start my share of the drama. I don't like it, but it follows me like a puppy, so I'll just admit I start stuff.

Well i got my girlfriend a really nice gift for her birthday...well not gift....more like gifts....they were pretty expensive all together....but its her first birthday since weve been going out....and weve been going out for about 4 months now....do u think really expensive is a bad or good thing?

If you MEANT what you gave her, and it MEANT something to you, then expensive isn't bad. Now if you're doing expensive just to impress her, or show people that you have money, then it's bad. But if you meant what you got her, then it's okay! It shouldn't matter if it was expensive or not.

ok, me and my best guy friend figured out that we like eachother. and so he asked me out, and it didnt last too long cause it got weird. and so now we still like eachother but latley he has gotten all snippy and mean when we are around other people, but when he is just with me he is a sweetheart. i am soooo confused and i dont know what to do. should i talk to him or just roll with it?

Talk to him, obviously. First of all, he's a boy; spell it out. Secondly, he's probably not a mind reader. So you need to tell him. Don't play games with him.

kayy well i was going out with a really cool guy and this girl that used to be my best friend asked him out when we just broke up and she told him she asked me that it was ok to go out with him but she never asked me. so im really mad at her. but now the guy wants to go out with me again but he doesnt like to say no to people like the other girl but i hate her now so i feel like getting back at her so this is the best thing i can think of. is it ok???

Don't date someone just to get back at someone. That's stupid & it's leading the other person on. If you want to get back at her, think of something that DOESN'T involve hurting another person.

Ok so there is this girl on my bus named jessica. And were arent friends or anything. And she told the kid across from me that her stepfather beats her. So me and the other kid decided that we would tell the guideance counseler about it. Well the other kid goes to Vo-tech during the day so he wanted me to tell the office. So I did. Well somehow Jessica found out that I was the one who told and now shes mad at me. She is being really nasty to me what should i do? I mean I was only trying to help

You did the right thing.

There are a couple reasons she may be mad. Either she's scared that something worse will happen now that you've told, she doesn't want people to know, or she was lying and saying that just for attention. But you did the right thing, so don't regret what you did. Try appologizing to her, and if that doesn't work you shouldn't feel bad, because that was the right thing for you to do.

my crush asked me to the halloween dance today. I accepted, but now im petrified. Im just really scared. one of my best friends and my sister are in the marching band. so far i've been to almost all the competitions and football games to support them, well this weekend i wont be able to go so i was think i'd get a basket as a good-luck gift for them... besides writing them a note saying good-luck and everything, what can i give them? they aren't allowed to eat/drink anything besides water in their uniforms...

Hey, I'm in a marching band too and that only water thing really blows. Lol so I know where you're coming from. But anyways, give them a basket full of stuff they can eat before OR after marching. Put water in there for the game, but also include just normal food [chips, fun size candy, stuff like that] that they can have later. (=

Ok this is a really horrible situation I got myself into.
Today is my 1 year anniversary with my boy friend and this weekend is my best friend's birthday. I totally forgot to mention that to my boyfriend and he bought us tickets to this concert and reserved dinner at a really nice place downtown that has a waiting list weeks long.
Anyway, I've known my best friend my entire life and we had always planned that for her 18th birthday, we'd drive over to Alberta and get totally tanked with a group of girlfriends because her parents would be away for Thanksgiving.
So yesterday, my boyfriend gave me my ticket and I noticed the date of the concert and the dinner falls on the same day of my friend's birthday! I couldn't believe it and I got really upset because my best friend and I had been planning this for years and I couldn't believe this was happening to me!!
Well my boy friend said he understood and it was ok, he could take me some time later even though I know he spent a lot of money on the tickets and planned it all out and we can't get seatings at a concert again till they come around on tour again. So I said ok, I'll go with Sandra and them.
So I was all planning on going with the girls until one of my other friends "felt bad" or whatever and she told my best friend and now my best friend says it's really stupid that I would ditch my boy friend for a road trip and she demended that I go to the concert.
Now I feel really bad and so does my boyfriend so I don't know what to do! Like if I go to Alberta, I'll feel really bad but at the same time, if I go to the concert, I'll feel bad too! What the eff am I supposed to do?

I think that you should go to the concert. Your boyfriend spent a LOT of money to get the tickets, and took the time to get reservations also. That's a once in a relationship type thing. You can ALWAYS go on a road trip another time, and plus it can be even more suprises for your friend because you have more time to plan.

Ok, there is this guy that i really like....hes my ex, but now my friend. Hes really cute. And we tell eachother everything. He told me, that if someone asks him if they like someone, he will blush if he does. Just Friends

You can't break them up. If he's happy with her then don't mess it up. Continue being good friends with him, and stay close. There's a VERY small chance that they're going to be together forever.

If that doesn't sound good, and you really do want him back, then talk to him and tell him how you're feeling.

Hey! Well this is the deal, and it will be long but I really need help at the moment and I ALWAYS rate :)

So anyways this summer I met this cute guy at work and even now we talk online, myspace etc. So he had a gf for a while and they broke up. On sat. we were going to go as a group with friends to 6 flags but ppl ended up not going so it was me and him. He was such a sweetheart. He held my hand most of the time, and when we went to see a show he put his arm around me and cuddled with me, on the way back to his car he gave me a piggy back ride home. Sounds great huh ? Well no, he had a "blind date" to go on the next day. Today he told me that it was a weird date cause the girl moved too fast and he didnt want a relationship now. Then he told me he had a much funner time with me ! Im thrilled that he did, but then again im like your going out with other girls and then you say you dont want a relationship. Im sorry but I feel the way he treats me is MORE then friends and it sorta sucks because I dont want to ruin what we have by telling him how I feel.. Please tell me what you guys think!

Try telling her how you feel. You can't expect her to read your mind. Just talk to her and get things out into the open.

I recently found out that my bestfriend cheated on his gf. And it wasn't just a make out with another girl type of cheating. He lost his virginity to this other girl. And he has no intention of breaking up with his real gf or even telling her. She lives about 2 hours away from here so unless someone tells her, she wont find out. She's also a good friend of mine so i'm questioning if I should tell her. I know if my bf was cheating on me and she knew, I'd want her to tell me. I'm not speaking to my bestfriend right now becasue of the fact. So should I tell his gf?

Give him a chance to tell her. Tell him that she deserves to know, and try to make him understand. Chances are she's going to tell you when she finds out because you guys are good friends. If he doesn't tell her, then you should force him into doing it, or do it yourself.

Do something like get them into a chat room, three way phone call, something like that. Say "is there something you need to tell her?" and if he doesn't then you should. She deserves to know, and if he's dumb enough to cheat then he's dumb enough to get caught.
