I'm not a girly girl but I'm not a tomboy either. I don't wear any make-up at all, I don't like it. I hate it when girls wear way too much of it, it's.. ew. I'm a pretty big goofball & I love making people laugh. I'm not very mature, either. Love me or hate me, I'll still be me & I won't change for anyone.
I have a lot in common with people but I'm still different. I'm not stuck up & I like making new friends. I have a lot of them but I have no idea what I'd do without my best friends. I don't judge people by the way they dress, their personality is what gets me.
Music takes up a huge part of my life. I listen to pretty much anything & everything. Literally, you name it.. I probably like it. I love romantic songs & songs that make me wanna dance. :D
Kevin is the love of my life. He's always there for me when I need him & he's everything I've ever wanted. He's handsome, romantic, sweet, smart, hilarious.. everything. Words can't express how much I love him. We've been together since June 14, 2005. We're gonna be together forever & no one can stop us. ♥ ♥ He has a column on here, too. how do you deal with crazy friends?
right now i am going out with a guy that one of my best friends dated, and i mean DATED. i started to like him like months before i told her, before i really told anyone because he is one of my close friends too. they dated for a year and a half and broke it off this past june. at the end of november he had a short relationship with another girl but that didn't work out. when i had a really good feeling that something was going to happen between us i told her and she told me that i was crazy for being afraid to tell her before, but she was really cranky and jealous over his last girlfriend, i it's think because she broke up with him and hasn't dated since. but now we date and it's only been for 2 weeks now and all i have gotten from her are dirty looks, whispers to friends and mean comments about him. what can i do to get her to stop acting the way that she said she wouldn't act in the first place?

She's obviously jealous that you're going out with him. If they went out for a year & a half, I don't think it was the best thing to go out with him in the first place because she would still like him after that long time. Even if you asked if it was okay, your friend will never be okay with it. I'd be heart broken if my close friend did that to me. If you care about your friend more than the guy then you need to dump him & tell her how sorry you are & try to fix your friendship,but if you pick the guy over your friend, than your friendship with her is gone.
ya see i am an only child and sometimes i get stuck on wat i should do, sometimes i have a friend over but people at my house get on my nerves messing with my stuff always wanting my attention, don't get me wrong i like hanging out but if there out my house in about 2hours i get bored ya see my parents are preety strickt so my friends are boring and imature

Listen to music, go shopping, get online, play games, color or draw pictures, read, watch movies, or play video games. If you think your friends are immature & boring, you should hang out with some new friends but I think it's okay to be immature at times.

You might have felt weird because of the age differance between you & Matt. I would have felt weird, too. I didn't like how after three days in your relationship how he started talking about perverted things, he might have only had other things on his mind. You probably feel more comfortable with Kyle if you guys talk about perverted things & it doesn't bother you, plus he's your age. Don't try & feel comfortable with Matt about talking about perverted things if you feel like you can't. It's not worth it.
so. this was my first year in high school and in public school. i was "shy" and quiet in class. I did make soem friends though. It just feels like in school all the girls look the same and than u have me who has my own style and stuff. People are saying im "weird" and making up rumors just because i stick out. I have brown hair and green eyes and people just think im weird because im not afraid to be myself. Am i doing the right thing?
Yes, you're doing the right thing. It's good that you have originality & they don't. I can't stand those people who think you're weird because of the kind of clothes you wear. Don't listen to them, they're just afraid to be different.

what is love really about?
To me, I think love is about finding someone you can't live without, they're like your better half. They help you out when you're feeling down & do everything they can to make you happy. They're like one of your best friends. When you see them, everything bad doesn't seem to matter anymore & everything's okay again. It's just an undescribable feeling & it powers over everything, but when you had someone you loved & they let you go, it's the worst feeling you can imagine because you know they don't have that feeling for you anymore. You're happy for them anyway even when they're with someone else because you know they're doing fine even if you're not.

I always used to feel like that, I hate that feeling. You can't always think so negative about yourself, you gotta think of all the good stuff about you so your self-esteem won't go so far down that you'll be sad & cry all the time. You probably are a very pretty person, don't let anyone get you down. When your friends, family, or boyfriend compliment you, listen to them, because they will raise your self-esteem & you'll feel really good about yourself.
my bf had to move to another province for a job two months ago. I was really mad at him because he hadnt emailed me since he moved. I was even angrier on xmas day because I finally decided to make the first move to email him and he never wrote back!! So I phoned him on his cell (it's very hard to get hold of him normally cause he works in the oil camp) and luckily caught him on his break. He sounded really happy to hear from me and that he wished he could be with me. He also said that his internet wasnt hooked up yet and thats why he hadnt sent me any emails.
Although I'm not angry with him anymore, don't you think he should have phoned me weeks ago to tell me about his internet not being hooked up so I wouldn't worry? And why should I always be the one having to do the phoning.? Is this normal behavior, or is he playing some sort of game with me? Oh ya, I also remember HIM saying "I was wondering why I hadnt heard from YOU."

Yes, he should have called you, but he has probably been busy with his job that he hasn't had time to call you or hook his internet up. He might be playing a game with you though because he hasn't attempted to call you or e-mail you. If he never calls, hooks his internet up to talk to you, or anything like that to talk to you, then it'd be best if you saw other people.
okay me and my friends are trying to decide what to do on new years eve we dont want to be home. Theres going to be kids rangin from 14-16 in the group. I don't live near Fairfax but maybe you could do this.. last New Year's Eve, a couple of my friends went to a park or someplace outdoors & watched the fireworks then had a party // sleepover afterwards. Sorry, that doesn't help much but that's the only thing I can think of.

Maybe you could write him a note explaining everything that's on your mind. If he doesn't write back, keep trying to call him & talk to him online if you can. If he doesn't even try to hang out or talk to you then maybe you should move on to another guy. He said he doesn't like you as much as he used to, so maybe it's the right thing. There's plenty more guys out there for you.
Do you guys believe that high school sweethearts can last throughout adulthood? I've heard from many people that if they end up getting married they'll just end up miserable. Or that most end after senior year.
Yes, I believe in high school sweethearts. My friend's parents are high school sweethearts & they've been married a very long time & they're still in love. It all depends on the couple though. Some relationships don't last after high school because someone in the relationship or both of them go to different colleges, move to another state, meet new people, etc.

The best way to enjoy yourself is go out with your friends because when you have them, you have everything. They cheer you up when you're down & help you through everything. Never cut yourself anymore, especially over a guy, because you're only 13 & you're gonna date many more guys. Cutting doesn't solve anything either & it only hurts the people around you, so just don't do it anymore.

Next year I'm starting high school. Everyone who goes to my school now is going to another highschool than I am. Should I be worried about starting all over? No, you shouldn't be worried. High school's a lot of fun because every year, you meet a lot of new people. Even if you went to the same high school as your friends, you wouldn't see them as much as you'd like to and you probably wouldn't have that many classes with them. You won't lose your friends though if you keep in contact with them so don't be sad, you'll have fun in high school.

If you think he's perfect & everything, maybe you should wait until him & his girlfriend break up. After they break up, tell him how you feel & why you think he's perfect. He probably doesn't care what you think right now because he has a girlfriend. There's not much you can do for now but wait. Don't be scared if he asks you out. He loves you & if you love him back, then go out with him if you want to. If you're not moving that far away from him, then your relationship can work. If you feel weird talking over msn with him, then you guys can talk over the phone.

It's different for every girl but it should be every 28 days but since you just started your period, it can happen anytime. You could have it in a few weeks, in a few moths, whenever. So be ready for the first two years. After you've had your period for two years, you'll have it every 28 days.
