Most guys would be flattered if a girl 2 years old than him asked him out. If you like him, than go for it. Age doesn't matter, all you matter is how you feel about each other. Corny, I know, but I don't think that going out with someone who is only 2 years younger is bad.
My guy's away this summer and is supposed to call me every other day or something and it's been like ten days. Today's our 8-month mark. Just opinionwise - should I call him? I called him last time we spoke on the phone.
My mom suggested I make him wait - "let him miss you and call you." She put it this way: "If you don't call him and he doesn't call you, you'll be upset that he didn't call. If you DO call him, you'll still be upset that he didn't call."

I think you should call him, it's your anniversary. Wouldn't you feel bad if your aniversary passed without talking to him? Don't play mind games with guys-oh I think I'll wait for him to call me-it won't work, and he might not call. If you call, what's the worst that can happen? Then next time, let him call first.

No, it's not cute. Most guys I talk to find girls who never have to do anything incredibly annoying, because they have to rely on their boyfriends to do everything for them. It's deffinatly not funny. I'm sorry to be so harsh, but you need to ask your mom or your dad how to do these things. It realy isn't that hard. A garbage disposal is like a trash can, but it grinds up old food. You can't put non food into it. You also have to put the stuff down the sink to get to the disposal. I think you do know what a mop is. A wrench is a tool used to tighten or loosen bolts.

Put yourself in his girlfriend's shoes: Your a teenager and your pregnant. Your parents are going to kick you out of the house. The only person you have left is your boyfriend.
Think about that. I think you should just stay out of it and not go after this relationship. Even if he doesn't love his girlfriend, she needs him more than you need him.

I am the middle child in my family and sometimes I think I don't belong with my siblings. Don't get me wrong I love them to death but... I am 13 a typical girl teenager. I like make-up, boys, fashion. But my brother does not respect any of my private life or social life. I am always baby-sitting for my little sister while my mom and dad are working and while my brother is out with his friends 24/7. It's not like I do it for my health i'm doing it for the $$$ but I need to get out too and especially since its summer. I am always fighting with my older brother and when ever I am on the phone with my boyfriend my brother always makes some rude remarks like "hey is this your tampon" or something like that something gross. I TOTALLY respect his private life and social life. My brother goes through my stuff, looks at my txt messagees on my cell phone to all my friends and my boyfriend and he goes on my screen name and talks to my friends pretending to be me. I have told him so many times that I need some space and he doesnt care. He gives smart remarks to me and I can't handle it. I've told my parents they yell at him yet when we're around my parents together he acts so perfect and he is older then me... how pathetic... but seriously I NEED HELP!!! PLEASE HELP ME!!! GIVE ME SOME ADVICE!!!!!!!!

Give him a taste of his own medicine. Go through his stuff. Read his text messages. When he's on the phone with a girl, say "Hey is this your jockstrap?". Soon enough, he will get tired of it. Tell him that if he stays out of your life, you will stay out of his life.
As for the babysitting thing...I babysit too a lot during the summer, so I hang out with my friends after my parents come home or on the weekends.

Laughing does burn some calories, but you would have to laugh for at least an hour for it to count as a work out. Pilates is GREAT for toning abs, and it's a pretty short workout. I have a pilates tape, and I do it every day (you don't even have to do it that often) and it's worked for me.

i dance alot (about 12 hours a week) .. does this have anything to do with my not having my period yet because of heavy exercise?? that's what my friend said and i want to know if it's true
Yes, it's very normal for dancers to get their periods late. 12 hours a week is a lot, and dancers usually don't have much body fat, and if you don't have enough body fat, you won't get your period. In a couple of years, you will have enough and you will start. Don't worry about it.

Your friends probably just feel like their growing up too fast. They are probably worried about 7th grade. Try getting them to do more mature things. Go to the movies with them (See movies that are PG-13), go to a diner, or stuff like that. And once in a while, if they want to act like kids, just let them. Sometimes it feels like time goes by too fast. If it really starts to get on your nerves and you don't like them, than don't be friends with them.

I'm sorry it has come to this. Tell him to meet you after school, somewhere away from everyone else. When he gets there, motion for him him to come close to you. Pretend that you're going to kiss him. Then, when he gets close enough, punch him. That's the only way to show him that you arn't going to put up with his crap.
Ok I have an advise column on here. I try my best to answer questions and i think i do pretty well from my ratings. If you two are really in a committed relationship, and you know he loves you for who you are and isn't just using you (which for going out for 11 months, I doubt he is using you), then I would say 2nd base is alright. At 14, you shouldn't go any furthur than that.

My best friend "Cara" is honest. A little too honest. In that sort of brutal way. She tells everyone the truth, but she does it in such a mean way. Me, Cara, & our other friend "Kandi" all went shopping one weekend for swimsuits. I tried on a bikini, & Kandi said I looked great, but that I should get a blue one instead of a pink one. Cara, on the other hand, said that it made me look chubby (even though I'm super thin) & that I should get a one-piece, like she is. Later that day, she criticized me & Kandi bcuz we were pigging out on pizza, while she only ate a salad. Another weekend, me, Kandi, & Cara went to see The Stepford Wives. On our way to Kandi's house, Cara was whining the whole way there. Even Kandi's mom agreed that Cara is a pain in the @$$. I have to see Cara again on Friday. People act differently when they are drunk. He didn't even know what he was doing. He deffinatley still loves you. Talk to him about it, and then give him another chance.
