I have a large very sore lump on my head near my neck. I want to know what it is and if it is serious.

Go to the doctor... it could be cancer.... Did you get scratched by a cat by anyway? Cause when i was in kindergarten i got scratched my cat and it had a disease called cat scratch fever... it might be that... who knows but go to the doctor and get it figured out..

If you have a lump on your neck, tell your mom or a doctor right away! I dont want to scare you but that might be cancerouse or a simple tumor that can be removed. But just to make sure, see a doctor right away!

Well i had one on top of my head and i went into the dr. because it didnt start to go away and its a stress bump and the dr. just gave me medicine like some sort of cream to put on it and it went away in the next 5 days but it was there for about a week and half and thats when i went in i hope i helped -trix ((((rate me))))

For piece of mind, go to the doctor. It could very well be a pimple, but the sooner you get it seen about the better you will feel. If it is something serious, the earlier you catch it the easier to cure.

it mite just be a knot in ur neck. they hurt a lot and u get them when u sleep in an akward position or when ur really tense i think. it mite not be that so i would go c a doctor about it.

Maybe you bumped your head while you were sleeping and didn't realize it. It could also be a cyst, which could be cancerouse or non cancerous, so yes, it could be serious. See a doctor right away.
