I have 15 tattoos, and 8 piercings. I'm married and just gave birth to a baby boy in May. I'm currently a SAHM so you can find me taking care of my son and binge-watching television while he naps.

I'm 17 and female, and I'm really thinking about going on the pill. However, I do NOT want to start taking it because I'm sexually active. I am NOT sexually active and I'm still a virgin.


The reason I want to start it is to regulate my period. I've had it for 4 years now and it has never been regular.


I just don't know how to talk to my mom about it and that is what I need help with. I'm afraid she'll assume that I'm sexually active and think terrible things about me or something...


Any suggestions? =)

Just tell her. Don't be sneaky about it, just be up front.

Tell her you want birth control to regulate your period. Tell her that you're not sexually active & don't have plans to be anytime soon.

Don't be scared. I'm sure she'd be relieved to hear why you want it. Not all moms freak out, give her a little more credit. :)

Hey guys. Today is my birthday and I turn 18. While there are girls dying to get older im not. I just wish I could turn back time. Like I still feel like such a kid. And I love it. So growing up is being very difficult for me. I currently feel depressed. Everyone is like oh ur old now or ur a young lady. I don't know. I just wish I was still 16 or 15. I mean I feel like I am. Getting older is inevitable, but growing up is optional. Just remember that.

However, I see nothing wrong with growing older. While you want to hang on to your youth, being an adult can be lots of fun too. :) I don't think you should try so hard to remain young. You still are young, just with a little more responsibility & freedom. There's nothing wrong with that.

Don't be afraid to become an adult. Embrace it, because it brings a lot of good things. :)

Being bored and curious one Saturday afternoon, I ventured into a random online forum, signed up, and started chatting. Weeks after that, I met a guy. Great. So we kept talking, liking each other more and more, and having a lot in common. Then we started "dating". But has become so much more than an internet relationship, for both of us. We share everything with each other. I'm in love with him.. in love with him for exactly who he is and by some miracle, he loves me the same way.

Now here's the problem. He thinks I'm 19 years old, like him, because that's what I claimed when we first met. I didn't think it would matter because no way could it turn into anything serious. I'm actually 15 years old. We've never done anything sexual, obviously, or even seen each other. I do plan to be with him for a very long time and meet him the day I turn 18. But how am I going to explain, when I do meet him, that I'm actually 4 years younger than I claimed to be? That I lied to him for years?

Or a more important question would be.. am I just caught up in false feelings? Can I really love him if I've never met or seen him, and could he really love me and accept my confession? I feel as though I do because I believe that you love someone for who they are and how well you get along, not because of a physical attraction.

As you can see.. this is a very messed up situation, but backing out is not an option for me right now, nor will it ever be. Help!

You need to confess now. It's better to tell him what's up now, then tell him later. He's likely to be more mad later on, then he is if you told him today.

If you really like this guy, he deserves the truth from you. Explain why you lied. I know other people think it isn't possible to find love online, but I met my boyfriend through his job (which is a tv show) & now we live together. I'm not saying this will happen for you, nor will you be this lucky to meet someone through technology & have it be safe & legit, but if you like him, go with it, but be careful.

okay soo i lived in this country where i walked in a certain part of town and i get the dirt in my eyes and one eye swells up
well i moved all the way to texas and i was at warped tour in a mosh pit
and there was a dust cloud
now my face is swelled up and so are my eyes
there are little itchy almost unnoticeable bumps all over my body. basically a mild irritated rash

when will it go away and when should i see a doctor is possible ?

Rashes are the worst. Try using some Cortizone cream for the bumps, and Benadryl for the swelling. You can't depend on that alone though, so make sure you go to the doctor so that they can give you something better.

Im 15/f and he is 17/m. I live in NY city NY. Me and my boyfriends 6 month anniversary is in like 2 weeks, and he is really into anniversaries. Hes telling me how hes planning this huge thing to do with me, and hes so excited for it and im liek oh...cool? Idk he obsesses over this stuff. So i want to get him something nice for our anniversary. I am willing to spend up to $80. Haha im going all out for this. He is very into baseball. He loves the yankees and plays on 2 baseball teams. He LOVES his music. He plays guitar, and has an acoustic. He listens to leik Alesana, Forever the sickest kids, Dance gavin dance, Anberlin, Breathe carolina, and such. We are going to warped tour together, so going to a concert wont really work. Also, we have gone to a yankee game like last week, and we already planned one for July 22nd, so those two ideas wont work. I really need some help. I have been stressing about this forever. I really need help with this. I wanted to get him a kindof necklace, but i dont know anywhere that sells like mens necklaces. I wanted a wooden one with a rope/material chain saying something in like chinese or hawaiian or another language liek that. I want it to say love, or forever or something cute and romantic.

I'm sure that's something your boyfriend would really enjoy. I also think the photo album is a good idea. It doesn't matter if you don't take many pictures, you still can try & take some. Take some at the Yankee game, take some at Warped Tour.. There's a lot of things you can do.

Since you said he's into guitar, does he happen to have Guitar Hero or Rock Band? If not, you can always buy that for him. If he has an XBOX 360 or a PS3, he can download songs online for the game.

As far as the necklace thing goes, you can find something like that at the mall. I'm not sure about engraving it, but I would ask if they can do that. I hope you find a good idea out of these. Don't stress so much. I'm sure whatever you get your boyfriend, he'll love. Happy anniversary! :)

I would probably wear some bermuda shorts or capris. I wouldn't recommend jeans or anything too long because it's a long day, and Warped Tour is almost always hot (unless you're near a beach). If you can pull off flip flops or flats, go for that, but if not, sneakers work too.

Im a female and only thirteen but has had sex for the first time with someone i thought i really liked and i thought he really liked me back. But like after we did he told everybody lies and stuff like saying I was gonna cry and stuff. I will admit it hurt really really badly but i wasn't gonna cry. I'm not going to scold you for having sex mainly because what's done is done, but next time you should try not to be so trusting. People will tell you what you wanna hear to get what they want, and it's easy to fall for it when all you want is to be liked.

I would tell your mother. While it probably will hurt her to find out her daughter has lost her virginity to someone who doesn't care much for her, she'll be happy you trusted her enough to speak with her. Tell her. She's your mother and deserves to know. She loves you.

I heard that Billy Mays (inventor of mighty putty, oxiclean, orange glo, etc. & was famous for those crazy infomercials) died at age 50 on June 28, 2009 (yesterday). Somebody posted it on MySpace and when I logged in I saw it and was like, "Billy Mays died TOO!?" I mean, Michael Jackson just died a few days ago! What's with all of the celebrities dying and stuff, right?

Anyway, is it true that Billy Mays died?

Yes, he is dead.

He was on a plane and the pilot had to make an emergency landing which was very bumpy. He said some stuff came down from the overhead storage & hit his head, but he announced that he was fine. Then yesterday he was pronounced dead & was said to have died in his sleep.

Deaths tend to happen in 3's, but I guess Billy Mays threw in an extra for free. :(

Okay. My boyfriend's sister, "A", is turning seventeen on July 13th. I've been with my bf for ten months and am always at his house, so I see her a lot. We aren't really close friends, but we're the same age. She has dyed my hair for me numerous times free of charge, and let me borrow money one time when I wanted to make a purchase. My birthday just passed and she didn't get me a gift, but she did decorate my ice cream cake. She doesn't really get gifts for even family members because she doesn't have much money. I want to get her something nice and am looking for ideas. I'm willing to spend up to thirty bucks. Her favorite color is green. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If she's a girly girl, you could buy her some jewelery, or a nice summer dress. :)

I have been watching Jon and Kate Gosselin (From Jon & Kate plus 8 on TLC) for awhile now and was surprised when people told me they were actually getting a divorce soon. I heard that Jon Gosselin actually hired a divorce lawyer for the whole ordeal, but I have no way of knowing if that is actually a fact.

My question here is kind of simple, I suppose. Who is divorcing who and why? I heard something about Kate Gosselin cheating on Jon but then I heard about Jon Gosselin having a long-term affair. I'm confused and would really like to know what's going on with the Jon & Kate plus 8 stars.

The divorce is a mutual thing so they're both divorcing the other. They're doing so because they're having problems with their marriage and simply cannot make it work. It's also not fair to put the kids through their fighting, so a divorce will make things easier.

They're both accused of cheating on the other. Kate is accused of cheating on Jon with one of their security guards, and Jon is accused of cheating on Kate with a school teacher named Deanna.

Why do people insist on bashing Michael Jackson after he's died? The man lost his life long before he died! Why can't we just let the King of Pop rest in peace now?

I went to Yahoo! Answers to ask a question about Michael Jackson and people just went nuts over him being a child molester and pedophile and how he tried to kill his youngest child (Prince Michael II) called Blanket. They kept talking about how awful he was and I wasn't even asking a question about that!

Why do people insist on this now? It's only hurting the Michael Jackson fans who are trying to deal with this grief. I feel like I can't talk about him positively without someone coming in and saying how he was such a horrible person and deserved to die. I just don't understand why people seem to be trolling about Michael Jackson at this time--when he JUST died! Help me understand?

Because people are horrible and shallow and only see you for the mistakes you make. A lot of people have trouble finding the good in others, and when they see you make a mistake, that is how they define you & you can do all the good in the world, but they won't see it - they'll only see your mistake.

Michael Jackson has made mistakes, but that's because he's human just like everyone else. While some of the stuff he's done has not been normal (i.e. dangling a child off a balcony, or letting kids in his bed with him), he's only human & you cannot blame him for making a mistake.

There is not really any proof of the child molesting mostly because the case was dropped. But that's all people really know him for. I think people care too much about the negative things he's done and haven't really done too much to try and see the positive.

I'm sure Michael Jackson was a good person. He made good music, and was an icon. In all honesty, I feel bad for the man. He was robbed of his childhood by his abusive father which is why he turned out the way he did.

I think that if you're a fan, you should just ignore what people are saying. Don't let what they think stop you from thinking what you do about him. These people should have no effect on you. If they cannot appreciate another human, then you shouldn't care for them. Simple.

Someone said that Michael Jackson had something called Peter Pan Syndrome and I'm just curious why he had that. I understand that it's why he had the children at his house a lot and why he seemed childish in a lot of ways. They even said that's why he had the private amusement park, The Neverland Ranch, created.

What causes this peter pan syndrome and why did Michael Jackson have it? I'm just curious.

I'm not sure what causes it, but Michael Jackson didn't really have a childhood. He spent his "childhood" performing & not being able to do things other kids got to do. He missed out on playing at parks, and having friends and stuff like that.

So while most kids like us got to go to school and play on playgrounds and ride bikes, he didn't. He was forced to work to the bone by his emotionally & physically abusive father. A normal life was taken from him which is why he ended up the way he did.

Is there like a National HIV Testing Day or something this year? I'm pretty sure there was a National HIV Testing Day in 2008 but I don't know about 2009. Does anybody know when this might be going on and where you can go for the free HIV testing on that particular date? I'm sexually active and I haven't made the wisest choice in sexual partners. I want to be tested for HIV/AIDs but don't have much money so I was hoping there was going to be a national day this year too...

&if I've missed the actual "National HIV Testing Day" then is there another day or a free clinic I can go to for HIV/AIDs testing?
