How many clubs or societies are recommended for a pre-law student in college?
I've heard that because most students who aplly to law school have excellent grades it is important to be involved. But HOW involved is my question?
Will 2 clubs a year do? Or isit 2 each semester? Or is it 8? HELP!
Well, clubs are good for any college bound student, really. I don't know if there is a SET number for pre-law students, because I'm only 16.
The best advice I can give you is to get involved in as many as you can handle, while still staying on top of your schoolwork. Sure, 2 a year is good, but 2 a semester is better. Get what I mean? =]

Okay we were driving & we hear this song. I don't know what it's called. but i do know that in some part of the song it says "I'll die by your side"....and that's all i remember. But when he says that it's at a higher pitch than the rest of the song. I think it's an oldiesh songg. It sounds like Morrisey, but I don't think it's him.
Please help me! Thanks in advance.

My friend and I are trying to remember a song from about 2-4 years ago. It's an emo song where it's a guy lead singer, but we can't seem to remember the group.
The guy in the video is dead and walking around as a ghost, or is still alive and walking beside his girlfriend. We think that in the video, they were involved in a car accident or something. Part of the chorus is shouted, and there's a part more towards the end of the song where the singer says "I miss you" and repeats it about 2-3 times.
It's a dark video, I think one of them (the guy or the girl) is in an ambulance at one point, and the guy is singing the song to the girl. I can't seem to remember which one was alive or dead, cuz I didn't pay much attention to the song back then. Please help, it's racking our brains!
I know it's not Dashboard Confessional or Taking Back Sunday or anything like that. I think Coheed and Cambria kind of sound like the guys from this song, but it's not them. Any help would be great! Thanks!!!
Was it "I Miss You" by Blink 182?

i recently sold my house. and im moving and leaving all my freinds here. but i have my best freind in louisiana which is where im moving. and itsw my first year of high school. what do i do?
Ahhh the joys of entering high school. I think I can help you, and I'll even share a few stories! ;]
I don't know why everybody is so scared, because it really isn't that scary!
Here are my tips;
1. Be yourself.
- Cheesy and cliche, I know, but it's true. You have to be yourself in order to make new friends. You want people to like you for YOU, and not a certain way you're acting or talking.
2. Wear what you want.
- This goes with the above. Don't dress a certain way to impress people, it isn't worth it. Just wear what you want, and you'll be fine. DON'T DRESS SLUTTY. It will only make people assume that you are, in fact, a slutty girl, and people usually don't like that. I'm also sure YOU wouldn't like having mean things said about you, right?
3. Talk to people, and let them talk to you.
- Making new friends is so not hard! Funny [and true!] story: I met my current best friend freshman year. We were put together as partners in our AP tech [just a fancy class with a lot of technology stations] class. The station we were assigned to had a wind tunnel, and of course being the klutz I am, I broke it. Well, I really didn't know my best friend too well yet, but he still stepped in to save me. The moral of the story: Don't be afraid to talk to new people, or let them help you when you need it. You might even end up being best friends with them like me and my friend!
4. Give people a chance, and don't judge them.
- Don't think that just because a guy is on the football team he is unapproachable and you have no shot at being friends. You never know until you try! This also goes the other way, too. Just because somebody is really smart and in band doesn't mean they aren't a totally awesome person. Also, just because you don't like somebody at first, does NOT mean you won't end up being friends later. Another true story: Sophomore year, I met another one of my good friends. We had health class together and always competed for the highest grade in the class. Well, long story short, it kind of made me mad and then one girl got a higher grade then both of us. But, the boy I competed with and I are now really good friends, and I laugh at the fact I didn't like him at first.
5. Don't make friends with the wrong people.
- If you start talking to somebody, but they DO end up being a total loser [pothead, gossip, etc.] then don't be afraid to stop hanging out with them. Do what's right for you, not what's "cool" or anything else. You are your own person.
6. Go to school functions.
- Football games, dances, and pep rallies are not only a ton of fun, but a great place to hang out with friends or make some new ones. So get out your school colors and go have fun! ;]
7. Do your work, don't be a slacker.
- Look at it this way, if you do good in high school, you will get into a good college. If you get into a good college, you will get a good job. If you get a good job, you will have a better chance at being happy. Isn't it worth doing your work for 4 years to achieve a lifetime of success and happiness? I think so!
8. ENJOY your experience!
- This is probably most important. ENJOY YOUR TIME IN HIGH SCHOOL. People call the high school years the "best years of your life", why not make that saying true? Get good grades, make new friends, and enjoy the ride B]
Good Luck, and don't worry, you'll be fine!

im fifteen.
and my boobs stopped like hurting (as in like growing pain stuff) for like a few months.
all of a sudden my boobs are killing hurting now like when i touch them.... why?
also when i squeeze my boobs i feel a hard part in them.. thats normal right?
and when i lie down my boobs get harder in a sense...?
does this happen to you?:S
i'm 34-36a
Are you about to get your period? This happens to a lot of girls right before they start theirs. Either that, or they're growing pains. Either way, you shouldn't worry.

me and my boyfriend live in differnt states
and hes coming to visit me in a couple of weeks
and i live in illinois and im about 20 minutes from chicago.
i was wondering what are some stuff we can do so we dont get bored.
were already going to the skatepark cuase hes big on skating and he wants to hit some of them upp
also im pretty sure were going to six flags
but like what is some other stuff we can do?
Hello fellow Chicagolander =]
I think you should go to Chicago for the day. You can walk around Millenium Park, go to the aquarium, maybe stop by the beach. It will be a lot of fun =]
Or, if you don't want to spend an entire day there, split it up. Here are some places I think you should definitely take him to see:
1. The Shedd Aquarium.
- It's one of my absolute favorite places ever, and it's really cool =]
2. The Museum of Science & Industry.
- If you go, make sure to see the Submarine, it was really interesting.
3. Millenium Park.
- If it's a nice day, it's really nice to walk around and check out the Bean and stuff ;]
Other than checking out Chicago, you can go see a movie, go out to dinner, go to the mall, or rent movies and watch them all day.
Have fun! =D

okay. I just got back from out of town and I haven't seen my boyfriend in a while. Then when I see him he don't say nothing to me. Then the next time I see him he is not talking to me and he is talking and laughing with this girl thats trying to go out with him. Can you tell me if its a sign of cheating?
Shante'

Don't jump to any conclusions. You need to ask him about it, because none of us here can tell you for sure.
Just be honest with him and tell him you don't like that he's not talking to you, but he's talking and laughing with a girl that you KNOW is trying to go out with him. Just ask him how he feels about her, and if he still wants to be with you.

Hi i am 13 years old and (i am a gurl) i cant find a decent guy, every one i dated just wants me to have sex of do stuff like that to/with him, and when i say i am not ready for that they just leave me or get really mad and act like a two year old, so tell me, why is it that all guys want is to getin your pants? cuz it is really pissing me off
Not all guys are only interested in sex. Trust me, I have guy friends that are some of the best people I've ever met in my life, and sex isn't even on their list of concerns.
Now, you're only 13 and you shouldn't get mad just yet. You've got your whole life ahead of you and PLENTY of time left to worry about guys. Just wait until you find one who likes YOU for YOU, and who will respect your boundaries. Trust me, once you find a guy who likes you for who you are and doesn't pressure you into anything, the wait will have been TOTALLY worth it =]

im 15 and my bf is 16 and he is a bit shy he deosnt talk to many people weve been together for almost 7 months and i want to take our relationship further but hes a bit shy about everytime i try to make move he holds back he has a small penis and he has a real hang up about it i tld him it doesnt matter i love hima lot and i want to take things further what can i do?
If he's shy, maybe he doesn't want to "take things to the next level". I think you should talk to him about and make sure the 2 of you are on the same page. Tell him you've been thinking about it, and you would like to take your relationship up to the next level, and you'd like to know how he feels about it.
Regardless, I think you should respect him and not push him to do things that he is not comfortable doing.

im going to be a freshman in high school and i havent had a boyfriend yet. pretty much all of my friends have. i feel like im doing something wrong, but i dont know what. is anyone else in this situation? or has been? i need adviceee. haha
There's nothing wrong with not having a boyfriend until you're older. Relationships are pointless until you hit high school, anyways. How many people do you know who have been on an ACTUAL date? Chances are, not many. Just because your friends have had "boyfriends" and you haven't doesn't make you a loser or anything.
My guy friend, Jack, put it best:
"First- I'm going to tell you that relationships aren't all they are cracked up to be. Sure- they are fun having someone to share things with and be with. But they involve a huge commitment and if you end up with someone who is clingy- they'll want to be with you every minute of every day- and you might not have time for friends or anything else you want to do. I say this because one of my ex-girlfriends was sort of like that- and got mad if I was busy with other plans.. and it was just really retarded.
Anyway- the best way to attract a guy is to be yourself. If you try to change yourself just to get a boyfriend [especially at your age]- you'll just end up with someone who only likes you for what you've become- not who you are. If you be yourself- and don't change- you'll attract more guys who actually care about your personality rather than just your looks."
-Laura. (16-f)
ok, so im going to a private high school this year and i dont know anyone else whos going.
people keep telling me that everyones in the same situation and that ill make new friends but i dont know. im really nervous that i wont and that people will hate me :[
any advice? (:
Everybody IS in the same situation as you, and you WILL make new friends.
Just don't be nervous, because everything will be ok. Why would people hate you when they don't even know you? If you're worried about making friends, don't be. Just start a conversation with somebody new and let things go from there. Chances are, there are other people just as if not MORE nervous than you. So just stay calm, and you'll be ok.
Good Luck!

From my friend, Jack's answer:

I myself like any type of girl. I honestly don't judge looks as much as I do personality. If a girl is absolutely stunningly beautiful, but she's a bitch- why would I like her? What would our relationship be? What would we talk about? Her latest hair extensions? Yeah- that would be REALLY nice *Sarcasm: Party of one!*...
If a girl has a really nice personality- and she's really outgoing and sweet and nice and smart- and she's not necessarily the best looking girl- but she's not super unattractive- then I'll most likely want to date her over the beautiful bitch.
Do you get what I'm saying? If you let guys see your personality more than your looks- you'll end up with someone great. Trust me- most guys prefer personality over looks- they just don't know it yet =]."
But maybe this guy isn't as great as you're making him out to be. His sister knows him better than you, and maybe she's right. Maybe you should try to find another guy who likes you for you, and who won't treat you bad.

Hi guys, I just started learning how to drive about 1 month ago. I'm taking it very slow, my dad's teaching me. Thing is, I'm terrified of driving. I've been on the roads already, and I literally have panic attacks every time a cars next to me, or pulls out in front of me, or anything! I just need advice on what to do. As my dad puts it I have 'no self confidence' in my self. He says I drive better than I give myself credit for.
I'm feeling hopeless, like I'll never be able to drive without feeling flustered..or so nervous that I want to cry. Any inspirational driving stories that could help me out? Or anything?! Thank you!
I used to be just like you. I felt the same way, but trust me, it gets better with practice and time.
Just tell your dad that you're not completely comfortable with driving yet, and ask him if you can practice in the suburbs, or another calm area before going on actual highways, etc. This way, you'll get used to the car and you'll feel less nervous.
When you DO go on the highways, don't let the bad things get you down. If somebody pulls out in front of you, big deal! It wasn't your fault, and you should just put it out of your mind.

My sixteenth birthday is comin up and I am all out of ideas on what to do. Please tell me some activities that are affordable, little crafts we can do that will last a while, such as something different than just a friendship bracelet. Maybe some fun teen games that we could do in a mall ;) Or you can tell me what you did for your sixtennth birthday :) Something fun ~ thanks
I had a pinata at my sweet 16. I know it sounds dorky, but my friends and I really had a lot of fun. So, you can do something cute like that.
Craft ideas:
1. Decorate picture frames.
2. Decorate flower pots.
3. Make tie dye shirts.
4. Make those tie blankets.
5. [Start] making scrapbooks.
Have fun!

1. I'm 13-16 and I still haven't gotten my period! Should I be worried?!
2. I'm supposed to get my period soon, but I'm going on a trip. Is there any way to make it come sooner or later?
3. I'm planning a day at the beach/pool/lake and I'm supposed to be getting my period right around the date. Is there any way I can figure out exactly what day it will start and end?
4. Before I get my period, there's white stuff in my underwear. What is it and is it normal?
1. Every girl gets their period at a different age. Some girls start as early as 12 and some start as late as 17. You're perfectly fine and don't need to worry if you still haven't gotten your period. The only time you should worry is if you are over 18 and still have not STARTED your period. But most likely, you will get it in time, and until then, you should stop worrying!
2. There is no natural way to make your period come sooner or later, or last longer or not as long. But you shouldn't let it ruin your trip!
3. Nobody here is psychic, therefore, we cannot give you a date for when your period will start or end. Every girl has a different cycle and length of their period. However, if you've had your period for over 2 years, it should be somewhat regular, therefore, giving you a slight idea of when to expect it.
4. The mysterious white stuff is called discharge, and it is perfectly healthy. It's your vagina's way of cleaning itself, and is normal. If it bothers you, try wearing a light pantyliner.
5. There is no way that you can make your period come any sooner or any later. Sometimes, exercise/diet changes will affect when you get your period, but I definitely do NOT recommend changing them just so you can change your period.
-Laura. (16-f)
17/F I feel as though I scare people off. Like, I really want to get close to some people, but they just back away...they'll mention we should hangout & I'm one of those people who needs a date and time...I just hate when people talk about doing stuff, but it never gets done...so when I want specifics: that's the point where people never respond.I can play hard to get with guys...however I get so thrilled when It seems like I find a person I'd be able to relate to. How can I be a little calmer in such situations?
There will always be unorganized people in your life. And as much as you may hate them, you'll have to deal with them.
If somebody suggest that you hang out, ask them for a day only and not a time. This isn't putting as much pressure on them, and it's also helping you have a solid date. Then, call them a day or 2 before the day you're scheduled to hang out and then figure out a time. This way, you're still setting up a date and time, but just not right away. I think this will help you keep people around more =]
