I fly all the time..it IS scary. Whether its your first time, or your millionth. After september 11th, I got a lot more scared! But, heres something to think about. SINCE September 11th, airport security is so tight and secure that its almost impossible for anything like that to happen again! Theres always a chance, but were so much more prepared. ALSO, it helps to think how common it is for planes to crash. Sure it happens, but think do I actually know someone who has died going on a plane? Ive flown many times and I can assure you the chances are small. Bring gum and obviously bring something to do. There are shades on the windows - make sure you pull those down if you get scared! I always bring my laptop and lots of DVDs. Also, if you dont have that - IPOD or music player! It helps to forget and calm your fears. Bring a book or magazines. ALSO, they will show you a safety video with emergeny precautions. WATCH AND PAY ATTENTION. It is guaranteed to make you feel better if youre prepared!

13/f last night i think i interuppted my parents having sex. my mom yelled at me through the door because it was locked and i knocked on it. it was like 10:45 pm. my parents never go to bed that early and they never shut the door and lock it. is this a sighn of ur parents having sex?? im just curious and i didnt think my parents still did that stuff. should i ask my mom or should i just let it go?? its really bugging me!!!
Okay, so maybe people will say Im giving you the wrong advice but DONT approach your Mom about it. Its going to be very awkward. And Im positive they were having sex. If they were just sleeping or talking, the door wouldnt be locked! Look for this in the future as a time you shouldnt come in. Whether theyre having sex or not, if the door was locked - they wanted privacy. And you have to respect that. I know how you feel..a little bad and neglected? But I think youre just a little SHOCKED more than anything. Dont worry this will go away soon. Be happy your parents still love eachother - by the way, its normal for parents to still "do that stuff" when they are old..I know, GROSS. ;] Let it go..and try to avoid locked doors in the future.

Yeah. I asked my guy friend and he said it was gross when its the kind thats all sticky. He said the best is CHAPSTICK. If youre not preparing to kiss a guy for at least an hour, you can wear the sticky kind of lip gloss (its cute) but if you ARE planning on possibly kissing a guy, wear chapstick. Ugh, me too! Im in the same situation, except its like Im addicted to AIM, myspace, facebook & advicenators. Its okay because I have free time on the weekends and stuff, but the only way youre going to break the "online addiction" is to get off the computer! Seriously, being on the computer and trying not to go on just facebook is wayyyy too tempting. Also, dont try to quit cold turkey. Its kind of like dieting - if you dont let yourself have a LITTLE junk food once in awhile, you'll go crazy and end up binging on everything in your kitchen. Allow yourself 30 minutes a day on facebook. Also, you cant do this by yourself. You need to ask your parents to enforce a rule of no computer for longer than 30 minutes a day! Tell them to help you keep track of time so you can focus on other things (homework.) They'll most likely be happy to do it!

Im not a guy. But, if you want me to be completely honest - yes, acne is a turn off. Not a HUGE one but it definitely isnt a turn on. Guys understand everyone gets acne though and most of the time, the guy doesnt even notice little spots we get upset about when we stand 2 inches away from the mirror. Plus, just because you have acne, doesnt mean youre not pretty. Also, if a guy doesnt like you just because you have acne, hes NOT WORTH IT. Because everyone gets a zit once in awhile!

for the most part, i straighten my hair everyday. in the morning before i go to school it looks fine, but then by like 2nd period[which is like 9:15][i do my hair by 8] its starting to get wavy. it wont stay straight for a few hours. is there any way i can fix this? thanks in advance!
Hey. Well, first of all are you using a good iron? Is it really old? If its a cheap iron and its over a year and a half old, thats probably the reason your hair isnt staying straight! I have a Chi. Its definitely one of the best, if not the best hair straightners. It might be expensive but it will WORK BETTER and last longer. ALSO, you need a finishing spray for after you straighten your hair. I use Kenra platinum hot spray protect and finish. Youre supposed to put some on before you straighten it because it locks it in AND protects your hair from the heat. Then, you spray it when youre all done to "finish" or hold it in like hairspray, except you can still move your hair and its not as sticky. I dont know where you can get it because my Mom gave it to me for Christmas from my hairdresser. But, Im sure you can look it up online. Another good spray is Bed Head "After Party". :]

Theres not much you can say to change the situation shes going through OR make her feel better 100%. But, I have helped a friend through a divorce and I can tell you the number one thing to do is listen! Theres going to be a lot of things she's going to want to vent to you about. Tell her youre always there for her and you really want to listen to her. That is pretty much the biggest thing you can do. Also, dont tell people about the divorce - she is trusting you with this. And just try to tell her everything WILL be okay. Because it will! She can get through this because you know her and you know she's strong enough.

i want to make new friends, but i dont really know how to. You see, it's just kind of weird to go sit at a lunch table that you don't usually sit at, or start talking to people at school that you don't really know. So, my question is, how do you make new friends?
Theres no real way to make friends. I cant give you a magic secret that will instantly make you popular. First of all, know good REAL friendships take a while to develop..they dont happen overnight. Being nice to people is key. If youre sweet, friendly and approachable, people will like you! Dont get stuck in a reputation. For example, Ive learned the hard way talking and gossiping about people will always backfire on you. People WILL tell other people you do it and you will get caught. Also, you'll get the reputation of a gossip queen/bitch and no one wants a friend like that. Its weird but its helpful to sit at a table you wouldnt normallys it at. Chances are, theyre going to be nice about you sitting there and fine with it. Try sticking with people you dont know well in your classes. If you have to work with a partner on something, try to talk to them about what youre working on and then move your way into a more general conversation. "I love this class, what about you?" or something like that. Just be outgoing and confident. And you will have friends. :] good luck!
