uh y is there no TV catgory? okay anyways is it true theyre gonna cancel the OC? because i watch it every thursday exept now im getting chain emails to go on [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) and stuff to save it, but i didnt know it was being canceled! is this really true? and if it is, please save the OC!

yeah. it's gone. because it's gotten incredibly stupid, and only people who watch it religously are still tuning in. pretty much, rating are low, story lines are hard to make, and therfore pretty much suck due to rush.

Yupp its gonna end in february. The rateing have been real low since they killed off marissa. Like all my friends have stopped watching, but i still to im gonna miss it so much!

I think its pretty much becuase Marissa died, there were FAR less viewers. And TV channels only put on tv shows that have lots of viewers and they know will make them lots of money.

Yes, it's being cancelled. It was in the newspaper.
Lack of viewers, decreasing popularity, and a time slot change lowered the ratings to the point that it wasn't profitable for the show to air anymore.
Personally, I think the show has run its course. FOX is showing the entire last season, and the finale will conclude everything that's going on.
Now, I'm still mad at fox for cancelling "Tru Calling" in the middle of the second season for no good reason.
I suppose signing the petition couldn;t hurt, but all it's gonna get you is another below-par season shown at an unpopular time. If you're lucky. I think the show got cencelled because all the actors wanted to move on with their careers. Personally, I wouldn't mind Adam Brody doing more movies at all! :D
