i have the same problem, just with myspace. im constantly on no matter what. but something you could consider is putting yourself on a schedule maybe? set up individual times to do certain things you need/want to do, including getting on facebook. if you have a set time to start and stop to do other things, it could make it easier. another possibility is setting a time limit for yourself and when you are done immediately shut down your computer so you're not tempted to get back on.

Ugh, me too! Im in the same situation, except its like Im addicted to AIM, myspace, facebook & advicenators. Its okay because I have free time on the weekends and stuff, but the only way youre going to break the "online addiction" is to get off the computer! Seriously, being on the computer and trying not to go on just facebook is wayyyy too tempting. Also, dont try to quit cold turkey. Its kind of like dieting - if you dont let yourself have a LITTLE junk food once in awhile, you'll go crazy and end up binging on everything in your kitchen. Allow yourself 30 minutes a day on facebook. Also, you cant do this by yourself. You need to ask your parents to enforce a rule of no computer for longer than 30 minutes a day! Tell them to help you keep track of time so you can focus on other things (homework.) They'll most likely be happy to do it!

Limit your time on the cpu. Or just shove the computer away from you for a while..or just DELETE it. Haha.

but seriously, stay AWAY from the cpu at all costs. If you have hw, use the school cpu or go to the library.

Or just distract yourself in front of the tv,,hw
