Symptoms: itching, burning, irritation, painful urination, and abnormal discharge. If you go to the doctor you can get something perscribed to help make it go away faster.

I've been on birth control now for about a year. My boyfriend and I just recently had unprotected sex, without pulling out. I'm pretty good with taking my pill every night around the same time but there were two times during this cycle that I had ended up taking it the next day, including that night we had sex. I'm on the placebo pills right now and still no period. Could I be pregnant?

Yup, there is always a chance no matter what and not taking your pill a couple days increases the chance. I suggest getting a test asap.

Its like any other part of your body that you get zits. Oil and not the greatest of cleaning. So you could just clean that area better and they will probably go away pretty soon or you could see a doctor and get a perscription to something to help get rid of them faster.

I'm writing a college essay on somebody "famous" that I feel to be Heroic. Out of curiosity, if you had to choose somebody to write about, who would you select?

I'm asking because I have chosen Helen Keller. She became an author, as well as a teacher to the deaf and blind, while overcoming those same disabilities. That is what I want to do with my life. I want to educate and assist the impaired, and I've known that since middle school. She is truly a hero in my eyes.

My worry is that Helen Keller will be such a popular choice. I'm scared that other students will be too lazy to search for a slightly less common name and just go with what they already know. I fear boring my teacher before she even commences the reading process. I know it's just one essay, but she is an inspiration of mine. I would be tremendously bummed if I had to write about someone else!!! Do you think my teacher will be bothered with the same old story, even if it were written immaculately? Do you feel it could possibly have a negative affect on my grade?

All input and opinions will be greatly appreciated.

Your probably right about a lot people picking Helen Keller for their essay but if you truly idolize Helen Keller and you show that in your essay than I doubt your teacher wil be bored with it. If the writing is amazing and your passionate about it then it will be a good essay. You shouldnt worry about other peoples essays. Just concentrate on making yours the best it can be and it will be.

this may be kind of long but ill try to make it as short as possible. me and this guy mike have been broken up for about a year and a half. the whole time we have talked and he still tells me he loves me and misses me every once in a while. well tonight i was with my friend and he called me. well he then told me he was coming to my house but i told him no cause im scared of heartbreak. i do have a boyfriend of 7 months but i still do care about mike. and my boyfriend is amazing so i dont want to hurt him. well mike stayed for like 10 minutes trying to get me to come outside but i couldnt bring my self to it cause i always do. well later on he told me that he made me something since i made him a scrapbook last summer. he refuses to give it to me til i see him. he stayed on the phone with me after he left and had something to say but couldnt because his friend was there. he told me wed talk about it later and i asked when that was and he told me he didnt know. i really care about him and i always will cause he was my first love but i dont know what to do. should i just let him come over and give it to me and talk to me like he wanted and say what he wanted or should i just say no? please help. thanks so much!!

Well to from what your saying it sounds like you still love eachother but your afraid of getting your heart broken again. That shouldn't stop you. Follow your heart, if you love him then see him. Yes that will suck for your boyfriend of seven months but believe me it would hurt him WAY more to find out you love someone else THEN be dumped so just do it now. Let him give you whatever he made, let him come over, and etc.

Your cutting it very close. Eight hours is the MAX. You are probably fine because TSS is very very rare just dont leave it in that long
anymore. Use pads during the night!

Im 17 and i have had my Period 6 Years. This is the Second time i have missed my Period the first time was when i first started. I usually start around the 21 and last month i didnt. And it hasnt started yet. Im not sexually active any more. So i havent had sex in a good 9 months. Should i just wait. And see if i ever start?

If you havnt had sex in over nine months then dont worry about it :]

Ive skipped a month before but it should go back to its normal cycle in the next month or to.

Hey, im nicole 14 almost turning 15 come august. And i really have no idea what i wanna do for my bday. Last year i did lake compouce which is a theme park wit like rollar coasters and stuff if any of you dont know that. And so about 2 months ago i became a promoter at a club.. and i was thinking that for my bday party, renting it out and stuff for a night. but i really think thats more sweet sixteen and i wanna save that for my 16th bday. cause if i do it this year then do it again next year it wont be anything special come sweet sixteen. so anyways does anyone have any ideas for like things to do or places to go for a 15 year old bday party with about maybe 10 people;guys&gurls.

Pool parties are definately the best. Invite about an even number of girls and guys maybe 15-20 people or so? Get tons of junkfood and decorations like balloons and such and just have fun with it. Make everything look crazy with bright colors. The pool will keep everyone entertained for hours and then maybe all of you and your guests could walk somewhere, a bowling alley maybe? Or if you don't want to spend money, walk to a park.

Oh and if you dont have a pool then you could always rent out a community pool for the night or day or throw it at a friends house.

See i have this little problem i'm 14/f and i sorta had a moment and well my grandparents are always telling me that i should never waste my self and stuff like that.... so u see my problem is that i might be pregnant but i am afraid to tell them cause they told me that that would praticaly disown me if i ever did so what should i do? my boyfriend wants help me and is afraid to tell his mum.... so umm yeah what should we do?

1. Go to a drug store and get a pregnancy test to be for sure.

2. If your not pregnant then thats good. If so you NEED to tell them. Believe me, they would much rather hear it from you than find out by your stomach getting bigger.

3. If you dont want to tell them to their face there are many other options such as a letter explaining your thoughts and feelings on it all.

I have gotten my period and its been 2 years.
What do you think my adult height will be? And when do you think ill stop growing?
