Can you eat anything you want if you work out daily?

In short, yes, but sometimes eating McDonalds and going all out with it and then exercising won't get rid of the salts and fats you're bringing into your system.

As a side note, Michael Phelps [that awesome swimmer you've probably seen on TV] eats 10,000 calories every day, but burns most of them all off with the amount of swimming he does.

I really want a purity ring (I've always had the beliefs to abstain from all sexual activity until marriage, I just think that a ring would be a cool reminder) but I don't want to ask my parents to get me one because they'd make a big deal about it ("You're 15 and thinking about having sex?!?" Yeah, they're pretty retarded).

I have plain rings at home, if I attach a significance to it and wear it constantly, can I consider it a purity ring? And/or where can I get purity rings for a good price (not online)?

Hmm. The only people who can see WHO you are would be the 10 or less L2+ Moderators.

Paid accounts can see all the questions you've asked, but not who you are unless you've identified yourself.

Level 1 Moderators cannot see any of this information unless they have a paid account.

You are very anonymous on this site, and those that can see who you are normally don't use that information unless there is a problem.

pretty much what it says, i've heard if you gargle hydrogen peroxide everyday it'll whiten your teeth.

does anyone know if this is true or has anyone tried it or know anyone who has?

Hydrogen Peroxide is meant to help disinfect small wounds, not put in your mouth.

Sure, it may be an ingredient in teeth whitening things, but I definitely don't recommend you try it. Your mouth will sting really bad.

First of all, both his book and his lecture are AMAZING! My question is about his death. When did he die? If someone could answer this, I would be grateful. It would also be helpful if I can get dates.

Unfortunately, he died July 25, 2008.

I saw him give part of his speech on Oprah [haha I know], and he was really inspiring.

It's really sad that someone SO great had to leave like that.

But just go with the flow. I don't really have experience in how to "properly" kiss, nor do I have experience with kissing at all! Can you say prude? ;]

Anyway- if it's your boyfriend/girlfriend- just be honest with him/her. Tell them you're nervous and you don't really know what you're doing. Apparently the people who are less-experienced is a big turn-on to some people.

Do what you feel comfortable with. If something feels awkward or uncomfortable, don't do it. If it feels right, ask the person if they are okay with that, and if they are- then you'll be fine.

There really isn't a CORRECT way to do it. Everyone does what they are comfortable with.

From my weak experience- this is what I can tell you:

1. Don't come on strong- it's really awkward for the other person.
2. Don't slobber all over the other person.
3. Don't stick your tongue all the way down their throat.

The first person is right. You should only lose 2-3 pounds per week, and therefore you should only lose 8-12 pounds per month. That is, unless you're morbidly obese, but 121 pounds is not even close.

hello my name is seanicka and im 18. Im in a long distance relationship and I was wondering do you think seeing my boyfriend every three months or two is bad? we love each other dearly and willing to make it work.

As long as you both stay committed, you should be fine.

Sometimes my sister and her long-distance boyfriend don't see each other for months at a time and he's only home for about a week or so. And it works for them.

Whats the difference between a person being nice to you, or a person showing interest? How do you know if the guy is just talking to you or if he might be flirting?

Here's some ways to figure out if a guy may like you:


1. They don't call you "sexy". They call you "beautiful", "gorgeous", "amazing", etc.

2. They make an effort to hug you. They might high-5 instead, but it really depends on the guy in question.

3. They DO find any reason to touch you in some way. Mostly it ISN'T in a sexual way. Its more of just an excuse to remember what you feel like, I guess. Its hard to explain...

4. He is always smiling around you. If you're feeling bad and he's around- he'll be smiling because he knows that he's there to help you- and that's like brownie points for a guy if they can help a girl out. That, like the above, is hard to explain.

5. He'll tell you things about himself that he normally wouldn't tell everyone. He opens up to you. Guys don't get a chance to do that when pressured to "be manly".

6. If you have a feeling that a guy likes you- you're probably right. Guys aren't the best at hiding it- and girls are even better at figuring these type of things out.


If they don't really do any of that, they are probably just interested in you as a friend.

I really like songs that have deep lyrics, and can relate to my mood. :] Right now, I am annoyed, and infuriated... So are there any songs that talk about posers, or fakeeee people? Like for example, I really want good songs that have stuff in there like stfu, stop acting and be real for once, stop copying others, get a life, get your OWN life, don't even start with your fake crap, how you're really lame for doing all those things, some people aren't real stop with your fakeness, get your own identity and ideas, not MINE, so stop trying to steal my identity and trying to be like me (I like that idea), stop copying my style, you only like and do certain things because of me, etc... you know? Things that are similiar to those things? I would like songs that kind of have that "HAH! In your face! grrr stop being a poser!" feeling. x] I prefer rock songs... I like bands like Paramore, My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Simple Plan, Good Charlotte, Evanescence, Green Day, etc. Songs that are those bands' would be great. I'd love you to death if you had some great suggestions!!! lol xD I'll accept anything, but no rap or country please. Thank youuuu so much!

There's this great band I know called "The Rocket Summer", but actually it's a one-person band. =]

He has a great song called "A Song is Not a Business Plan" about how people just write songs about the same things and they just do whatever the crowd is doing. I love it ;]

"High Life Scenery" is also a pretty good song about the subject, as is the rest of that album, called "Do You Feel".

LOVE...what does it mean to you. I'd like to have everyones outlook on it, no matter what your answer is, I'd like to hear about your outlook!

There are two types of love: friendship love and romantic love. It's like when you say "I love you" to your best friend. It doesn't mean you love them romantically and you want to marry them. It just means you care for them tremendously. Romantic love is love you generally only feel for one person at a time and its the "I am in love with you" not just "I love you", if that makes sense.

Also, love really is something teenagers think they know but rarely don't. I don't know romantic love yet. I know friendship love, like for my family and friends and God.

You really aren't in love, in my opinion, unless you are soon-to-be married or are already married.

Likely if he's talking to you and being nice and smiling, he's probably not lying. Probably just shyness. Eventually, if he starts to look you in the eyes, he's getting comfortable around you.

Does the prank of putting someones finger/hand in hot water (or was it cold) really make them pee their pants? and why would it?

Haha yes it does work. I don't know the chemistry behind it, I'm sure you can find it out online, but if you're planning on doing it, make sure they aren't sleeping on a bed or something because that is SUCH a pain to have to get out ;]

how come some people dont get scared on roller coaster rides?

There's a lot of chemistry and such behind it all, like the person below said.

But I don't get scared because I was forced to ride the roller coasters when I was younger, because my mom said "You can't be a part of this family unless you ride," and of course it wasn't true, but at 7 years old I didn't know that. And basically I just learned to love them.

They are so exhilarating.
